Fun Birthday Celebration Spot! Had a great time celebrating my husband?s birthday at All Star Lanes in West Jordan! Booking lanes online was super easy and convenient. We loved being able to order food right from our lane while bowling?makes everything so much easier. The pizza was surprisingly great, and the overall atmosphere was fun and laid-back. Definitely a great place for a group celebration. We'll be back in the future!
Wow! I wish I could remember the employees who worked on April 25th. We had to wait for a couple in our party to arrive and the guy at the front desk was super helpful. Great cocktails! We enjoyed the appetizer assortment. All 4 couples had a super fun time!
The food was good and the service was great but, using time for bowling instead of paying per fame is ridiculous, especially when our lane spends 30 seconds between each bowler to cycle the pins and got stuck 3 times. The dude behind the counter gave us an additional 5 minutes but that still didn't make up for all the time spent waiting on the lane to cycle pins through. The worst part was our last bowler couldn't get his last 2 turns in before our time was up after we got our 5 minutes. Just go back to pa
I have only been to this place once, I did not get to use all of its amenities, but the bowling area in which we played was great, and it wasn't too busy. The food is okay, we ordered several things to share; if I have to recommend something, I will probably go with the pizza or the nachos. It is a family-friendly environment, where both adults and kids can have a great time.
They were very accommodating of our large group and tried to keep our lane reservations together. They got us all set up with shoes before the lanes were even ready. The good was great and pretty quick. My only complaint was the lanes kept sitting down due to the pin mechanisms not working. We had to request service multiple times, a couple times pins were dropped by the machine, and the scores were wrong a couple times, as well.
Clean and well maintained. Went in for some rounds of bowling; it wasn't crowded at all. Our lane?s pin dispenser got stuck like 4 times in 90 minutes, though. While the staff were responsive to fix it and even gave some minutes back, it was very annoying. We only tried the quesadilla, it was good.
The boys working at the front on May 19th made this the BEST bowling/arcade experience EVER. I came in super hangry and not in the best mood and they turned my whole day around by giving my toddler the happiest experience. 10/10 recommend - I've been to countless bowling alleys and arcades? this one is the best one by far!!!!!
To begin, other All Stars locations we have been to have been fine, this rating is for this location specifically. If you're looking to bowl here, I'd avoid it. We were placed in a lane and began playing, the first players ball got stuck, so we requested assistance. It took three attempts at the screen and then one of us going to the front desk to finally get help. After fixing it, the lane froze and broke again a few turns later. After a similar support request process, it broke again. We asked to be moved
Love bowling here, but it needs to be easier to call and find out if they're closed for a private event. No fun showing up with a car full of kids only to be told it's reserved.
Not the worst bowling alley, not the best. We didn't love that you pay by the hour and not per game. Our lane kept breaking (ball getting stuck, pins not resetting) had to go to the front desk to ask for assistance multiple times which is unfortunate because if there's a line at the desk it's taking away from the actual bowling time that we paid for. We were told that someone would be walking around and we could ask for drink orders, we saw no one the entire time we were there. The people next to us had no
Bowling here was great. My only complaint was the wait. But since it was so busy it was justified. Now the biggest kicker to you other large footed dudes out there. They got shoes up to size 18. I always struggle to find rental shoes my size being size 16. But hey I had room to spare in my shoes. Overall it was a great experience.
I never thought a bowling place would be good enough to motivate me to post about it. We had a company party on a Sunday night and it was surprisingly very open. The is was not half bag and the waitress attending to us was very friendly and helpful. They have an arcade here and I know what you are thinking, 1980s machines, half don't work, and the other half are sticky and nasty. Well, this arcade actually has all new games and they actually work. To top it off, they are clean. There are actually some pre
The arcade and food is pretty average but the bowling and service is terrible. While bowling, our lane just broke, refusing to replace the pins, and two of our balls never came back through the conveyor. When notifying the worker at the counter, the rolled her eyes and scoffed before telling us to reset the lane. She wouldn't accept the fact we already did that until we did it again and came back. Then she tells us to wait for her. She never comes and we ask again. Same answer. This cycle repeats 3 times b
We had a great experience while we were here. It sadly was under construction, but even so was still great. We had a great price on a Sunday with unlimited bowling and shoes included for $10.00 per person before 5pm which is quite affordable. The food was enjoyable even though a little on the pricey side and they offered refillable drink pitchers which was perfect. The workers were helpful and kind. We were having a birthday party for my niece and nephew at the time, so they even let us bring in a birthday
We have family night bowling here just about every Sunday. The staff is friendly our bartender Shari is amazing, she is so sweet and is on top of making sure we have everything we need!
$55 to feed four people, pizza was good. $65 for 1.5 hours of bowling, the sitting area between lanes is too narrow and you can tell they crammed in another two lanes. $90 in arcade credits, lasted 15 minutes split between four people. Going to get a refill on your kid's soda and the workers telling you that there are NO FREE REFILLS...... PRICELESS!!!!!
Nice bowling alley! Big arcade, adult or family side, bar, and pool tables. We took a big group and were able to reserve 3 lanes. The lanes seemed very nice and clean and most importantly comfortable with big bench booth seating. We didn't eat, but some of the food we saw looked solid!
Fun bowling alley with nice and attentive wait staff. We had a family birthday gathering and they were super nice and easy to work with
As far as bowling goes, All Star Bowling is the best bowling alley I've ever been to. It was clean. The service was fast and friendly. They have food. They have an arcade and we enjoyed a very family friendly experience. I especially liked the lane bumpers. They come up automatically when it's a select player's turn and go down for all other players.
The food was fantastic!!! Sharey our waitress was amazing.. Great place to take the family for bowling.
We have the rudest server ever. Raven was the worst and acted like she hates her job. Weve been here bowling for over an hour and she barely came to ask if we needed anything. During this time we went and got what we needed. But our conversation with her was the worst. She had so much attitude. I'm usually all for the whole ?be nice cause you don't know what they're going through.? But no she was just hateful. I think I'll stick to another location. Or some how make sure she's not working.
Bowling is decent but the thing that sets this place apart from other bowling alleys is how good the food is. Like wow really really amazing food. From the pizza, to the pastas, to the tacos, wings, and salads. Just amazing!
It's fun, needs some hotter wait staff, we aren't all Mormons
Great fun. Great bowling lanes and arcade entertainment for the little ones. Food is average.
Great chill , quick fun date spot! Ambiance was great over by the bar. ...must have your ID or else this very intimidating security guy will kick you out..maybe its because I don't look my age but once you show proof ...your good! Love that there's actual food and drink to have while bowling. And as for the opposite side which is completely segregated and separate is the kid/family side to bowl. Caters to all and great to bring your family their as a fun eat out spot... totally recommend it ??
Me and Blake are WJ boys. We go to the bar to play the golf game, neither of us drink alcohol. Blake hates the freaky courses, where I love it freaky! I've been going to this bowling alley since the early 90's. WJ all day!
Bartender wasn't great. Door man was nice. This place maybe just to young of a crowd for me. But lots of people like it.
11/23 12pm. Lady at the front desk asked me to take my water bottle outside when the family in front of us brought in a cake and desserts for their party. What's taking money away from you more? Free water or desserts for a large party? Then the kitchen cooked a frilled toothpick into my chicken sandwich. Not a winning experience at this location
I'm from Los Angeles and been to plenty of Bowling Alleys. He food has not even been close to All Stars Bowling Entertainments good. Super good and the employees are respectful.
Great service. Great Sampler platter.
First time here with my family and we had a great time. Kids also enjoyed pizza and drinks, we'll definitely be back!
Not a lot of checking in after we got our lane. Wish they would have taken the empty plates. One of our lanes got stuck 3 times. Loved the fire outdoors.
Great place for dates and we went on a double date with our son. We all enjoyed ourselves
Really nice seats for group of people, perfect if you go with kids they will have enough space, lots of games for kids and adults, feels new this place
Great place to go bowling fun clean place can get food and snacks. Have a great time bowling
Working through a redesign which is updating the inside to give it a more modern feel. They started the time 5 minutes after paying (for a group of 10), which is totally fine. However they didn't tell us the 60 minute time slot we paid for would start 5 mins after paying so we ended up missing about 25 mins of our bowling time. Coupled with time spent trying to get the staff to fix the bumpers on the kids lane, we only got about 30 mins of bowling in with our 60 minute slot. Also had issues re-racking and a
Great spot for watching sports, even if you're not into bowling. Drinks were reasonable price, the staff was very attentive.. they have other games to play as well. Highly recommend it for groups and party celebrations!
There are multiple locations for All Star Bowling. This location does NOT have Lazer tag which is what we promised our kids. That said, the staff was incredibly kind and helpful getting us to the Draper location (by Cowabunga Water park) where we intended to go. If you're looking for bowling ?? come here for the awesome staff!
Atmosphere was cool. They had some great music playing with big screens that you could watch the music videos. Also had lots of monitors around with sports on. It was kind of like a sports bar bowling alley. My only complaint was it was pricier than other places I've been too. You paid by the hour which I'm used to playing by the game.
Never made it to the facility, the associate on the phone was so rude! Could have directed us to the website to see the price options instead of being condescending.
I was with my family at this location, and it was horrible; the track stopped constantly. In the end, we complained, and the cashier offered 20 more minutes. That's not the point; what's the use of more time on a faulty track? I'm not coming back to this location.
We really enjoy going here. When with adult friends, Pins and Ale is awesome when wanting to bowl without kids around.
First time visit to bowl with friends. Drinks afterwards were great. The nachos are bomb.
Didn't have any lane issues and the nachos were tasty
Okay customer service, some of the lanes weren't working properly and we couldn't play pool due to the table being broken.
Machines kept breaking, and the kid with glasses threatened to kick us out if we hit the stopper again, even though it wasn't our fault it kept stalling. He then went to brag about it at the front desk. They also wouldn't let me bring in my water bottle, saying there were fountains inside, but I wasn't drinking from their old, likely unfiltered fountains. The food is okay, with the pizza being meh. I do recommend the arcade.
Nice bowling alley the balls are all in good condition not all nicked up like at some places the only reason it's not five stars is the approach has no slide to it whatsoever if you try to slide into your release you're going to fall flat on your face like I almost did a couple times. The lady coming around and taking orders for snacks was super nice we were on the family side not the 21 plus side, since I was with my kids. I could see the advantage to the 21 plus side where you don't get a lot of the high
Lane wasn't working. It was super delayed..but establishment was clean and staff was friendly. I would come back
Had a good time for a bday party. Bowling. Games. Bumper cars. Food, drinks, beer are also available here.
Great bowling areas and pretty clean and fast service. They also have two pool tables where you can continue having fun after the bowling runs out.
Went to All Star Bowling for a company team party. Had a blast. It was super clean and they gave us free water. Staff could have been more friendly, but overall it was a great experience.
Amazing place, l love bowling and be there with my freinds and familly or others l usually go there often every month and always have so much fun l even recommanded to all my freinds we will be avle to go back there soon.
Nice play to have fun with kids. You must try Typhoon it's really cool!
Good lanes, clean environment, Monday bowling is only $11 per person for all you can bowl including shoes. Arcade area for kids and half the lanes are used for cosmic bowling on one side of the bowling alley. Great fun!
I love the new remodel, the arcade it's super fun for families with kids or friends, the food is actually really good quality pretty much like gourmet food. The 21+ area has its own bar area with pool table, and secluded bowling alleys ??.
Bowling is great until the you get told you need to limit the fun you are having and slow down because you are next to ?league players?. Pretty sure my money is just as good as theirs on a Sunday morning during a special price time. Out of 16 lanes 9 were empty, YOU chose to put us next to the league players that apparently get distracted by a family trying to have fun and get out of the house. Either train your employees to spread out players or put a disclaimer stating to the professionals they are in a b
Nice place. Like the remodel. Could've used better service
Me and my friends have been playing Bingo at this venue for a while now. At first the food and service were great. But over the last few months service and food have not been good. We would order something one day and then order it again another day and it would be completely different than the order before. However our biggest complaint as of now is the service. The bar is pretty full on Saturday for Bingo. Every table is usually and each seat filled. Despite how busy it is, they only have one waitress ser
Took the whole family for a fun activity with all the cousins since they were all in town for Christmas. Accommodated a large group well and upgraded to the spark lighting and games for a fun atmosphere. Facilities were nice and clean/well maintained and the shoes and balls had lots of options for all ages. It was easy to switch from kids with gutter bumpers to adults without and had little kid friendly fun shaped ball "launchers". Great experience and will be back.
Fun place and the staff was super nice. Was visiting Salt Lake City for the week and stumbled upon this place with friends. Bowling was good and drinks were solid.
Great place to take kids and family too a little bit of everything to do!
We usually love the WJ location and have a lot of fun. Last night the place was packed with dirty dishes on every lane. Very understaffed and there was no waitress to take drink orders so about 30 people were lined up at the bar for a beer.( This was 11pm) I'd say get more staff or get them working, it was awful and sad, because this was a favorite place to go?. Not anymore!!!!
The bowling lane kept breaking and everytime we talked to the staff they acted like they don't want to be there. You know the lane was not working correctly, so don't get upset that we ask you to reset it. I will never come here again.
It was fun My Girls enjoy been there not to expensive ?? many games fun for all age's and family
Not enough bowling balls, way to many people, overpriced, 2/10
AllStar lanes is definitely turning into the premier bowling venue in the state. Very friendly and courteous staff, delicious food, and a wonderful environment!
Nice atmosphere, decent arcade, lanes are good and the food is really good ??.
The front staff checking us into get a lane is great. Most of the servers are good except for one. Tiffany. I don't normally complain about specific people but we've had her twice now both on slower days and a monkey would do the job better. The first time she never put our food order in and took forever to get my friend the red bull she ordered and took a long time to come back so she could pay. This time we asked for a pitcher of water and ordered food but never got the water and she had a bit of a snippy
Nothing is maintained. Pins will remain on the lane, get lodged in the reset machine, not properly setup & balls will get stuck. We moved to 2 different lanes & it was the same. Staff is nice enough but hides behind "policy". Avoid this place altogether.
Its so fun. The employee's are nice. There fast. Gotta visit it for sure
We always have a blast at All Star Lanes. In fact, we had my daughters celebration of life there with about 100 friends and family. Thanx for that gang because you were all AWESOME????
The front desk lady Sam needs customer service training! We were at the food section when Karla needed assistance on an card issues. Sam walks over and talks to Karla like a child, losing her patience as we the customers try to explain the situation, Sam puts her hands up and says "It's our system!" Frustrated and comments "well maybe you should have enough money on your card" to our client with special needs. Horrible customer service! Karla on the other hand was very Profesional even after Sam yelled out
Tried to get a couple drinks from the bar and was told if I'm going to sit at a table she would take my order, so while I'm waiting for a server, the bartender is serving beer to a big party that was sitting on the table next to me and walked up to the bar
Great atmosphere and great food. The lanes were in great shape and I will definitely be going there next time I am in town.
Best jalapeno poppers ever had. Cheap bar where family met lifelong friends. Fun bowling but beware of cosmic bowling if flickering lights make you dizzy.
At Thursday Night Madness with our bowling league. The bowling alley is updated & kept immaculate. The employees are happy & always greet us with a warm welcome!
They did card me , very strict regulations in Utah , I went to the bar slash bowling area , and they do have arcade and non alchol bowling. ONCE THE CARD WAS VERIFIED SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT , FOOD WAS GREAT AND BEER WAS PERFECT.
Great improvements, brilliant in their business model. So much fun!!! Kids loved it!
Very Friendly atmosphere, nice place to have a good time with the family.
Horrible experience. Waited 35 min for server after asking multiple people and requesting a server through screen. Finally get an order placed then another 15min just for drinks to show up. Not to mention it was over 50$ for the lane. Would not recommend.
Awesome place to hang out with family and friends
We came on vacation to visit our family. We ordered food and beer for everyone. I forgot my ID home. I didnt even wanted to drink. I was drinking water, pizza and some wings. The security came trying to intimidate the entire family. We came to play few games. It left such a bad taste on our mouth we only played one game and left. Go find another place if you want to enjoy your night. If you want to have a bad time then come here. Good luck.
Staff were incredibly friendly! I was bummed out there wasn't any mini golf at this location, but the bowling and arcade more than made up for it!
Terrible service with rude waiters. Unfortunately management is just a bunch of kids, not to blame them, but there are some major issues here. Had to move us 3 different times because of broken lanes, tried charging us for food we didn't order, and still didn't receive the right food. At the end, management was firm that they did ?everything? they could to make things right. I would avoid this location. Just a disappointing experience from start to end.
Really need to update the ally! Pins dropping without the ball hitting it, balls getting stuck, and game erroring all the time. Love this ally besides that!
Fun place to take the family for entertainment. Beer is fantastic. Weekend nights are super busy, wait times for lanes typically are quicker than they expect. Last time we were told 1.5 hours, lane eas ready in 45 minutes. If you order drinks or food, it does take awhile to get what you ordered. Otherwise, great experience.
Place has no character, floorplan is too open, house draft amber ale is flavorless.
Everyone is super nice. The kitchen staff could be nice. The young gal running the register seemed to he bothered by us even tho we was willing to wait for our food since we was waiting for a bowling lane to open up. Other than that, overall it was a great experience and we had lots of fun.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
