Customer Reviews

The arcade is terrible. Half of the games don't work,or steal your money. Bowling is alright and the staff is okay, but this place needs some service maintenance for as much as tickets cost. These photos represent a handful of the games that were broken. We spent $150 in 45 minutes on garbage.

Facility is nice. Lanes are swimming in oil. Ball return malfunctions a lot wasting your paid time. But prices are just too high for what you get. It's why the place is near empty on a Friday night.

We took 7 of our grandchildren for some fun entertainment. We bowled, did bumper cars, laser tag and had pizza. I know a lot is said about the youth working and they aren't great. The 3 employees that were working today were amazing. They were kind, smiling and very accommodating. So impressed the way we were treated. An epic win for grandparents.

My family and I have been to this establishment for years, from a young age this has been the place to throw our kid?s birthday parties for a reasonable price and a great experience. Tonight we visited on a Sunday for our 15 year old?s birthday. Eric and staff made the time Fantastic!!! Great service, food, and the bar is one of the best kept secrets in town ?? The manager tonight made a regular Sunday night of bowling very special for a teenager?s birthday out celebrating with the family ?? I'm so grateful

Friendly and attentive staff, fun facility with great games/activities. Now we also know if we go in on a Wednesday next time many of the games will be 1/2 off, including Laser Tag. Our little guy had a blast for his birthday treat! Even Grandma played Laser Tag.

Was great free pool on Sundays night bartender great mixer knowledge on drinks 4-5 one before hardly knows drinks or customer service but fun time great patio for smoking hang out watch game relax next to a fire pit great

Took the kids bowling to get out of the house and off screens only to find a series of gigantic screens lining the entire bowling alley. They were so large that you could barely see the pins . They were also very distracting, but the worst pat was when they turned on the cosmic bowling. Cosmic bowling is usually really fun for the kids, but the screens reflected so much on the alley that you couldn't see any of the marking on the floor. It was so reflective that it made it difficult to finish the game. In

This was a great place to take the kids. From bowling and arcade games to Lazer tag. My kids had a blast! The food was decent for a bowling alley!

This place was awesome. It was our first time going to All Star Bowling. My kids had a blast. The employees were very informative and the food was great.

I thought this was a family-friendly place. Instead, I find the music rather the opposite. Music talking about Strip Clubs?!?! Really come on! It's ridiculous

UPDATE- I was contacted because of my review found he was the GM I did contact him and he has emailed me only once telling me who he was. But he hasn't responded to my other emails- so I think I fully understand why our experience wasn't good he doesn't seem to care either. NOT A GREAT EXPERIENCE-Right when I made contact with the first person at the counter I was disappointed. I asked if we could purchase 5 passes giving us 2 hours unlimited time. Her response was "Just so you know you we can't add or pau

The bowling part of our experience was great. The atmosphere is nice and the facility as well. The food was less than great. Peter was more like frozen pizza and the appetizer sampler was pretty expensive for what it was other than that the staff was friendly.

So I don't know about the rest of the place but my husband and I just went for the arcade and it was awful. Maybe half of the machines work and the other half will eat your money most of the time. A total waste. Especially since each game costs 1.00. That's ridiculous. P.s. I got the 100 ticket win on the big wheel but it only gave me 25 tickets. Soo that may be the main reason I think this arcade is garbage.

What a fun place! Everyone there was great..

Just had a birthday party for my son here. The staff had everything ready when we arrived. Super cute! The pepperoni pizza was hot and delicious, the cheesy tots and ranch were a hit. Staff was patient and worked well with all the kids. Definitely recommend, and we will be planning more parties here! ??

Food absolutely terrible. Salty very salty pizza. Bowling shoes all broken down and whew the smell. Buy your own. Bowling itself is okay. Arcade very high priced. Go on a Wednesday for best deals. Bathrooms dirty and water fountain black mold all over it. Never cleaned

Took my son to the arcade today for his 16th Birthday. We had the absolute BEST time! The manager and employees are absolutely wonderful! My son was laughing and smiling the entire time, and when we got in the car he said "Today was a really good day!" Which is huge for him. Thank you so much for helping me give him an amazing birthday to remember! We will definitely be going back again and again!

I can definitely tell that the new management is making changes for the better! Coming before, I've felt that the employees working the front were inconvenienced by us coming in. Today was a complete change to what I've seen in the past. Every employee we encountered was so friendly and helpful! And they all seemed happy to be here and happy to help. The whole place seems cleaner than I've seen it before. The arcade games are functioning, which is a big change from what I've seen in the past. Definitely goi

Worth going but make sure you know the days that do discounts! They tried to charge us $50 an hour per lane on Thanksgiving... "holidays pricing?" Theaters and other places don't price gouge on Thanksgiving!! What the heck! There was maybe lanes being used when we got there.

This place is fun! I brought my kids a year ago and it was fun! I totally recommend this place to others who has not gone there!

Pins and ales nice place ,but they short on personal and the old lady there was very rude ,the manager as well was taking between and people waiting for service ,they skip the line and attend whatever they want ,really bad experience ...definitely not recommended

I took my son to play laser tag for the first time. It turns out, he's more into bumper cars. After a few rounds of that. We accidentally jammed up some arcade machines. Patrick, pretty much spent 6 hours hanging out with us. Nobody would ever believe, that he was anything but delighted to do so. He is awesome! We'll definitely be going back.

We came for family night and it was so packed we had to wait an hour to get an open lane, but we wanted to bowl and decided we would eat dinner while we wait, it turned out perfect! My husband had a salad, I had a pepperoni pizza, and our kids shared pretzels, we shared everything, and it was really good! Personally if I got the pretzels for myself I would want them hot and the sauces weren't my taste (I prefer nacho cheese, cream cheese, or even pizza sauce with mine and I don't know what we had) but since

Employees are nice, food is terrible unfortunately.

I gravitate toward this place if I'm looking to catch up with friends and have a nice, chill night out. There is an area completely separate from the main family-friendly bowling area where you can bowl and have access to a full bar - it allows privacy for smaller groups and gives a more nighttime feel. The family-friendly side has great bowling lanes, and the food is always great, perfect for birthday parties for the littles; plus, they also have the arcade and laser tag! On the bar side, you have tons of

I never write reviews but I felt like if anyone should see this they should know.. Me and my mother wanted to take my little siblings out since they barely do. We spent almost $200 dollars for their arcade cards just to find out MORE THAN HALF of the arcade games are either completely out of service or not working properly. It was completely disappointing for the kids. The games and equipment were filthy and unclean on-top of that, like no one?s wiped them down in awhile. The food is terrible, the pizza ju

I took my nephews and used a family pass. It was my first time there. The staff was helpful and understanding of my blondness lol We went bowling, had pizza, played in the arcade, and did laser tag. So much fun we're planning on going back soon!

Games are dated and to be need repair. Food isn't to bad but takes a very long time to be prepared and received. Ticket to prize value is way off and needs to be adjusted. Bowling is great and lanes work smooth. Employees seem to be nice and helpful. It's fun for a quick entertainment stop, but can be pricey if your not careful.

I visited with my family solely to play laser tag. Unfortunately, I think my set was broken?specifically, the gun. I don't think the beam was aligned correctly, as it seemed like I had to hold my gun at a diagonal angle to hit someone. It bummed me out trying to figure out what was wrong with mine the whole time. My set?s name was ?Warrior?. We also didn't get a rundown of the game. My chest plate kept saying something like ?Don't forget to shoot the red target!?, but I had no idea what that meant. The vol

Never work there horrible place, food is good but over priced and not very sanitary. Over priced for things there and half the games never work. Also broken glass had been found in drinks in the bar be careful.

Held our group event here. Staff provided excellent service, taking care of all our needs. They worked within our budget and provided a great experience for an active group of young cub scouts and families. The pizza we ordered was good. Bottomless drinks were a bonus. They prepped the event space well in advance and looked classy. Give them a try!

Best place to go have fun! Loved the food and atmosphere. The manager Charles is very friendly! My husband and I took the kids and they loved it. We've gone alone and went to Pins and Ales (the bar side) and the drinks were priced well and very yummy!

Some of the arcade games were down, and some of the ones that weren't didn't score right. We did unlimited rock wall, bumper cars, and laser tag, but there was only one person working that whole part of the place. So, everyone else had to wait a really long time while one of those attractions were going. Overall, the place looked really fun, but the communication to us wasn't very good. We would have organized things differently had we known only one person was working those three attractions.

This place is a dive and expensive. We just went and paid for 4 arcade games that were broken. Then we got a ticket to try their VR and it kept shutting off. Had to wait over 45 minutes to play 1 round of lazer tag. This place is a garbage place and just want your money. They do not care about anything except just that. If you want the most bang for your buck I would recommend The Rush Complex over this place any day. Please save yourself the money and the disappointment. If I could give this place negative

Saw a manager being rude to a teenage employee.

Went out tonight to have a drink and I was the only one at the bar, that didn't stop me from having a good evening. Jessica was working the bar and was very fun to have serving me drinks, will be back!

Let's be honest it has zero competition. But the staff is friendly. The fries are better then normal bowling alley food. The lanes and arcade is clean and fun. We did the virtual rollar coaster ride, which was really fun. I'm sure we will be spending a lot of money here. ;) But it's a great date spot or family friendly place to go.

Went for my first time today. Horrible experience. Lanes broke 4 times. Lady at the front desk must hate her life because she wasn't any help at all very rude. Paid over $40 for one hour for 2 people and only bowled for 30 mins due to the malfunctioning on the lane they assigned to us. No refund was offered no extra time was offered. Only good experience was the lady who served us.

Friendly staff and decent atmosphere. It's a bit pricey, but that keeps most of the riff raft away. Clean pottys, would definitely poop here if the occasion presented itself.

We have been here (the Tooele location) multiple times. We always have fun with the kids here, but I was especially happy today. Katie was the employee we interacted with most and she was kind, personable, and professional. She was great and so was our experience.

Where to start! Plenty of staff but you'd think only one person was running the show. We went for my my daughter's 6th birthday on 1/6 and spent a lot of $$. I'll just stick with the one incident that really sealed the need for a review. We ordered an appetizer and pizza's and received then fairly quickly. A second appetizer took and hour to received. We had asked once how long it would take 30 min after offering and was told they'd work on it. After another 30 min and our 2 hour lane time just about

This place literally just stole my money. Ordered a sandwich, waited an hour. Then when we asked the people where our food was, they said they didn't know. We could wait another hour for our food to be made or get our money back. So I said I'll take my money back. The manager comes back with a gift card. When I was upset cuz I wanted the money put back on my debit card. She literally kicked us out and threatened to call the police. What a joke!

Super clean bar area, the food was yummy and came out hot, meanwhile this place is slammed right now and the girls behind the bar are killing it. Gabii and Dakota did a great job making us feel welcome, taking care of us and our orders, and helping us enjoy our St. Patrick?s Day!

We were there Saturday for a birthday party. I bought 3 unlimited attraction passes! My card was charged 90 and 80 for 3 unlimited passes. They tried to tell me my card wasn't charged for the 90 but it absolutely was. Not only we were over charged but every kid who ate the ice cream from there ended up with food poisoning. We called on Sunday and let them know what happened with the food. I called last night again once I noticed my card was charged double was told they would have a manager call. Never recei

It's not very often that I give either a one or a five-star rating to any business - however all-star bowling and entertainment definitely not only deserves, but earns the FULL FIVE STARS. Out of the many bowling alleys I have visited over the past couple of years this is definitely by far, the best establishment I've been to. The place is impeccably clean, the service was polite and very timely. The lanes are immaculate and well taken care of and the ball return and pin reset machines work as if they're br

We just went bowling with a big group of almost 30. They were fantastic! The general manager was so kind and fun with our kids. This will definitely be a new family tradition here. It was clean and everything was in good working order. Thanks All Star Lanes!

The summer specials made fun here very affordable. The laser tag was very fun, and in a nice facility. The bowling was great too. Food was good and surprisingly a good price for a place like this. They were under construction adding new attractions when we went. I'm excited to try their new stuff!

Had a great time here bowling. It was pretty busy but the employees were working hard to make sure everyone was taken care of. Their laser tag is also interesting. I do wish the employees looked a little happier though. I know it was busy, but they are working at a fun center and sad looking employees can sometimes put people off.

I absolutely love this bowling alley, and we have a blast everytime we go. Also, the staff are awesome! They really go out of their way to accommodate you. This last time we were there, a staff member named Jamie really impressed me with how friendly and professional she was. Thank you for giving my family and I a fun and safe place to go that helps us forget the world we are living in, even for an hour.

A very interesting and soulful place. Pleasant relaxation and pastime. There is a bowling alley, two pool tables and a slot machine room. Holidays for every taste and for any company.

The Beer is great ! Service was good! But who wants to eat burnt fish and chips. Knowing there are very limited choices in Tooele to have a beer and dinner this place should be prepared to handle a rainy day and be prepared to serve food that is enjoyable to eat!!!

I love bowling here. I love how quick the staff is to help and provide service. The arcade is full of new and fun games. The laser tag room is a really fun lay out. The bar is hopping. Everything from the arcade to the bathrooms is always clean! Great experience for the whole family.

It's pretty small compared to others. Additionally, half their games are broken like all the time. The others just eat your swipe and I feel like I'm having to tell their staff to recover my kids tickets then they actually get to play. I was mid play in one of the coin pusher game, had quite a few points and they only gave me back half of what I had already won. And even less off the points I still had left.

If I could give less than one star I would. I brought my child to the arcade to play, put $20 on a card only to learn that maybe 3 games were actually working. None of which my child could even play. After waiting 30 minutes to talk to the front desk girl and let her know the situation I was told I couldn't have a refund and to come back another day. Horrible customer service and this place is a dump.

I'm pretty disappointed overall. We decided to take advantage of the unlimited pass for $20. They were severely understaffed with only 3 employees working! The kids used their arcade cards and that was pretty much it. They had nobody at the bumper cars, nobody at the rock climb wall and nobody at laser tag. So we payed $20 per child for a few arcade games. They did offer to extend our bowling for an hour, which was nice. I felt bad for the staff, bad for our kids, and even worse for our pocketbooks.

I really like the upgrades this All-star has received. The games seem to be getting better. Shouldn't cost so much to play them though. The bowling is always fun. Lanes are clean. Friendly atmosphere and good customer service here. The food is ??. Good variety. There also is a bar closed off from the rest of their place. Don't know much about that. I drink no longer so ya.... Looking for a good place to take the fam for some fun there here is one of the best spots in Tooele!

I still enjoy coming here but the experience leaves a lot to be desired.. Arcade machines are basically not maintained, with the same machines being broken for years at a time, and the tuning/settings on each machine is very greedy, something like a less than 10% winrate, along with unreasonably priced prizes. $2 prizes can cost 6-10k points, or the equivalent of several hundred dollars worth of arcade plays. I've also bowled here and had a bad experience with the manager a few years ago, who accused my si

We usually have a lot of fun here but it has gone down hill. Took my family out tonight to go bowling. The table they sat us at wasn't clean so we requested someone clean it. Then one of our bowling balls got stuck in the middle of the lane and we waited for 10 minutes and nobody came to help so we just kept bowling. They finally came 30 minutes later and got the ball out. We then went to play arcade games and half of them were broken. My son's favorite machine, the candy claw, wasn't even stocked. Maybe th

Why is bowling for one more expensive than a ticket to the zoo?

Great place for families or to just grab a drink in the bar with friends. Jessica was super friendly and attentive to our needs!

They try and get you for every penny they can. A couple of friends and I went trying to use one of the "deals" they had, and we were told all deal had been suspended even though it was being advertised on the TV behind them. So instead we had to drop a $100 on bowling to pay for 2 lanes for an hr. It was ridiculous. Do not go there, there's better places in saltlake anyway

Half the arcade is currently broken and the last time I patroned this establishment our lane malfunctioned more then once. However, this bowling is clean and the staff are attentive and nice. It's a great family night out or place for a casual date.

Wasn't happy with my visit last night, staff was very rude to me and my girlfriend. They were too busy talking about someone that didn't work there anymore and seemed annoyed anytime someone approached the counter. I waited several minutes to place a order at the cafe counter and the food quality was not that great and arrived to our table cold. My girlfriend was ready to cry. Had one of the games in their arcade take my money, and the lady behind the counter basically accused me of lying when I told

Went here with my gf and the Arcade is so over priced along with food, you would think with all of the money from the arcade and food they would remodel the bathrooms cause they are very worn down and gross, this place could look so much nicer and be a better experience, also sat by the prize counter for 5 minutes and no one helped us, one of the girls was loving up on her boyfriend while we were standing there waiting, no one said they would be with us soon either, just didn't seem like anyone liked their

Poor customer service. The manager herself very grouchy and said there wasnt enough people to run attractions. On a Saturday afternoon, hardly busy, waited over an hour to laser tag. Step up Tooele we are growing, have enough people to run your businesses! Manager needs to inquire some people skills, she was so rude to her customers!

The employees were very rude and very arrogantly told us to leave well before closing. The group we came with spent a very decent amount and did multiple arcade cames, attractions, bowling, and food. Very dissatisfied with the attitude of the staff especially one girl in particular.

If your thinking about eating here you need to go with lie 3 hours in advance. I was the second person here 1 hour later my food wasn't ready . Neither mine or my husbands . And it was wings and a sandwich wow !! At least 1 beer was free since they took forever . And had to cancel my order . Service was good . That's it .

Between getting our orders wrong time and time again, ( there were only 3 of us) the tasteless food(attempting to eat with nothing to drink because the server still hadn't brought me my appropriate drink that I've asked for (a beer on tap)), and the crappy service. My friends and I have decided not to return to this establishment. The server kept apologizing everytime he came over. Literally every time. We came to have beer and bowl but after the "dinner" portion was over. We hardly touched our food. We pai

Average. The bowling is typical. Never have any issues with score screen, ball return, etc. Seating is not great. The arcade was half functioning at best. Many machines were out of order. The claw machines were not closing. Many of the ticket machines just took money but didn't let you play.

Their laser tag equipment did not work for half the game. They swapped it out and that one didn't work either. When they finally got me good equipment I ask them if they would restart the game and they told me no I can't do that. Mind you it is only my small little family playing the game. So I went to the front desk and complained and they confirmed that they knew they had a problems and thank you for telling us. I asked to speak to the manager and the manager was not available.

This place is okay. Their bowling shoe rentals are getting old and worn-out. The sole of mine was torn and flopping. They also have some games that you can earn tickets from to earn prizes for kids, but a lot of the games are not working and they don't put out of order signs on them so when you swipe your card it takes your money, but you can't play the game. They ha e a lot of repairs or replacing to do.

We went to pins & ales (the bar side) the staff was friendly and helpful on both sides... Getting our shoes on one side & our lane & drinks & food on the other. It was for a group activity and not everyone showed up at once so we kept the staff on their toes adding more people to the two lanes we had but the staff never got frustrated with us.

Everything was broken! We ended up switching lanes because the lane wouldn't reset then our new lane kept keeping our balls and not returning them. Half the arcades were out of service and we couldn't get an attendant at the bumper cars

Went in to take my niece and nephew to play some games on Monday the 7th of January. There was two teenagers and an older lady working. Right off the bat the older lady at the desk was very rude rolling her eyes at us. Half the games did not work and we lost about five dollars, however with the horrible customer service we did not feel comfortable going up to the desk. Come time to cash in their ticket this same lady just watched us stand at the counter. The younger girl walked over to help us, she was very

Food here sucks. Spent 7 or 8.99 dollars on a poor excuse of a pork quesadilla. Hardly any cheese. Stupidly little amounts of cheese. The tortilla was dry and crunchy? Not in a good way. Hoping management will respond to me. I had someone on staff look at my food, a manager, who didn't offer me a refund, didn't offer any explanations, and didn't offer to make a better one. Please improve.

I have been coming here for a while and I always loved their pretzel. This time I come their cheese, it taste awful and looks disgusting. I go the staff and tell they that. They say all the cheese is like that. Before their cheese was always good and now it's awful. If someone is telling you that your cheese looks and taste bad fix it please.

Super fun place to go and hang out! With AMAZING PIZZA! It's the best I've ever had. The laser tagging area is so fun and very well kept. This is a great place to go and trust that you will have a great time no matter your age!

Service was good, lanes had problems, we thought it was glow in the dark bowling, lol nope none of their light bulbs worked. All my friends got burgers & loved them, I got the wings & could only eat 3 of them, no meat on them & were so over cooked, would not recommend.

When me and a group of people went to the bowling alley we decided to get cards for the arcade, when we did then we decided to go to guzzle. When we brought the drinks in the manager for the day said ?your not allowed to have them in here? so we went out used a other door to throw them away, as we were walking to go talk to some other people a bouncer came out. His name was Robert. Robert had told us we were kicked out for the night, he told us that we got warmed three times but we only got warned once. The

Overpriced. Understaffed. Nothing was clear between the website and location. Wasted over 45 minutes of our two hours standing around because there wasn't anyone to help. Not impressed, very underwhelmed, it's incredibly disappointing. Bowling was good - but make sure you go on a day there's a deal.

Only place within 30 miles so we have to put up with it if we want to bowl. The owner is HORRIBLE and doesn't care about this facility like he does his other ones. So stupid as this place could be a gold mine being the only thing for this type of entertainment in town! He doesn't care, management sucks but that's only because of the owner, all of the bowlers are upset about HORRIBLE lane conditions and machines constantly breaking down. We tell management but that's where it ends because the owner never add

Fun place good food and beer

Good, normal place to bowl, but so so so expensive anymore. I'd recommend finding somewhere else first if you can. I think it was about $60 for me and two kids under 8 to bowl one hour. That's a $20 price tag... not $60.

The bowling alley seemed understaffed or like the staff didn't really care too much to help. We ordered fries and saw the fries finished, sitting in the delivery area for a good 10 minutes before someone finally brought them to us. Our lane kept breaking, either knocking down pins or freezing up all together. In the arcade a few games were broken. The guitar for guitar hero had a button that didn't work and one that stuck which made it frustrating to play, especially because the calibration was off as well.

Horrible service! Booked a party online and when I showed up they had no idea about the party. Employee was not apologetic kept blaming it on the system. Nothing was offered to make things right I finally had to ask what she was going to do. All I got was 10%. I will for sure next time go into salt lake for my kids? birthday parties they deserve the money I spent here. $200 for nothing but stress and arguing. Wish I could give no stars ????????

Broken bowling ball cleaning machine. Spent 4.00 and left my ball looking worse than before with nasty residue all over it. Went to the service counter and was told that the "machine does that and the general manager said it will be working after the first four or five people use it". Maybe the genius general manager should have used 1 of his hundreds of balls he owns to fix it. I asked for my money back and was told by Lexi that she couldn't refund any money. When I then asked her why there isn't a broken

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
