For a birthday party with 8 kids, 4 pizzas and 6 pitchers of soda it was $220 for 3 hours. But you get to stay as long as you want, you just leave the party area after 3 hours. This includes unlimited laser tag, unlimited mini golf and $2 arcade card for each kid (which the parents can add more money to if they want). It was great! My kids had an absolute blast and it's super affordable!
Great experience. Had my twins birthday party there today. The cost, options, and amenities provided are the best value of any other options we explored. The staff were friendly, attentive, and very helpful!Far above our overall expectations!! We will definitely be returning!!
Was great time and nice and calm for a Monday. Decent batting cages needs some updates but Decent prices!
We had a great time here. The couple hours we were there, we got a lot of arcade games in and also had lunch. Pizza was delicious! Definitely a place you could spend half a day at, even more!
This place rules and is located right down in Canal Park close to a bunch of other fun stuff as well as great restaurants. The game/activity selection is quite vast and love the prize counter selection too. Service is always friendly and our family always has a great time here.
This is a great place to have fun! Me and my family visited on Saturday 5.25.24 and this place did not disappoint! There was so much activities you can do with your family! Like batting cages, mini golf, the huge arcade, the bouncy houses, and much more! Once you get in there, you tell them what you want to do and you pay so they can load it on a card/cards The arcade was pretty easy to get things, I really liked that because it brings enjoyment to family?s that might try the games or the claw machine. My
Great variety of video games and arcade style games. Good pizza. Bouncy house and slide. Climbing wall batting cages and Lazer tag. Also a mini golf course. Good spot for a birthday party. 3 stars because they wouldn't let my 7 year old in the bounce house with her little sister because she was 1/2 inch too tall. There were other kids in there obviously taller than her. One rude staff member on a power trip almost wrecked her birthday. Other staff was nice.
Great for a 4 year old. There are different options for packages that include air slides and unlimited mini golf. Good value
Big money hole. Staff actively annoyed if you need help. For example, I tried playing the Omni Arena and was scammed out of this deal on the sign. Apparently if you have $25 on your Adventure Card, that isn't how Omni Arena works. You have to actively go to the desk and ask for that deal. Not only is that not on the sign, they won't let you use your money that already exists on the card. Many other arcade games are $1 plus dollars to play. Easily draining your card in just a few swipes. Disappointing.
I have great memories of this place from my childhood, but now the arcade has switched to a card and you don't receive any physical tickets for playing the games. The laser tag and mini golf are great though!
$10 Tuesday Rocks!!! We enjoyed this fabulous find while traveling & it became a highlight for our birthday girl!!! We will be back! It was so clean & a nice big space for all kinds of games!!
I always have fun at this arcade! There is a good variety of games here and accommodates a variety of interests and skill levels. Prize cranes, ticket redemption games, photo booth, enclosed cabinet (Star Wars pod) / ride games, skeeball lanes, air hockey, large screen games for one or multiple players (Lara Croft), throwing / basketball games, etc. I'm really impressed by the indoor food stand, which is like a carnival food truck. The pretzels are amazing and are only $2, pizza and other snacks can be had
The experience was definitely a cool one! It's a great first date place to take a partner if you're into sports and gaming or thrive on competition lol.
Fun games, disappointed in the laser tag and staff. I have gone to adventure zone with my family for a long time; about 2-3 times a year. There had always been cheaters in laser tag but I have never taken it to heart at all, they're just kids. But this time we had a smaller team, with 2 different group of kids that were all buddies. They all demanded we play free for all, the staff not even consulting me and my 7 year old sister, and it was her first time ever playing. Let's start at the tutorial. The group
This place is awesome! We first visited 15 years ago, and it was a nice small arcade and carousel. Now it's a home grown Dave and Buster's, and so much more. Our kids loved the arcade, golf, rock climbing, laser tag, and more. If you're looking for an escape from the outdoors due to weather or just need a break, make sure you check out Adventure Zone! Also, the building must have been an old industrial complex and leaving relics of the buildings history provides a great back drop for it's modern life.
We had a blast. However of the 13 or so 2 player games they offered 9 or more didn't work while we were there. My wife and I like to play at the same time against each other, and poor maintenance or bad luck or timing caused us to not be able to. I would have put 5 stars had it not been for so many games down.
We had a really fun time here but were glad that we went on a Sunday about 1.5 hours before closing time. We decided on mini golf and then about $75 for the boys to play on games. We tried using all of the credits before they closed and couldn't. So we decided to go back Monday afternoon and use up the remaining credits. The boys had a wonderful time and talked about the games that they would do if they were able to come back. It was the perfect amount and there were some 4 player games so we all got i
Our family loves good arcades. This one is pretty good. Some of the games are a little outdated but there are plenty of new ones. I would like to see a better selection of prizes for the high roller players. Staff is excellent!
Stopped in while we were there to see Lake Superior. Large space with great selection of games. Lots to do.. mini golf, laser tag, inflatables for younger kids.. would have given 5 stars, but a few games that my daughter wanted to play were out of order.
Absolutely recommend going in the early morning and/or Monday as all the games and prizes are reset! Excellent customer service and kind employees as well!
Great place for birthday parties! Ultimate fun time! Good pizza too
Need better prizes to win. Tickets prizes are for younger kids. Makes it no reason for kids to play for Tickets
My wife and I went here tonight just to get out of the house for a little bit. We had a good mini golf tournament between the two of us and it was fun. The mini golf course was only nine holes, so they were pretty quick games. We still had a good time, though. It was Monday when we went so there was a pretty good deal going on where you buy one ultra adventure pass for 17 bucks and get a second one for free. All the staff there were pretty young kids, but they were very mature and helpful when we needed it,
It was fine. The laser tag was decent, but the arena is a bit more cramped than others I've been to. It was fun once but we weren't all that convinced to do a second round, so don't let the "all you can tag" fool you too much. I was especially interested in access to the batting cages, but they all barely worked. We were offered free plays to make up for it, but it was pointless. Balls launching wildly off target or hitting the net and just dropping 2 feet away from the launcher. Mini golf was fine. Nothi
Nice little place to come and have some family fun. The arcades aren't crazy expensive and you can ACTUALLY win some points/enjoy your time without running out of money in .2 seconds. I didn't love the staff member following my daughter around the bounce place and trying to talk to her... Made me pretty uncomfortable, as a person who knows how predatory some people can be.... but that was likely just my anxious mama bear coming out. Otherwise, it was fine. Kids will be kids, so it wasn't uncommon for us to
Place was packed! Had to leave after 30 min due to the long never ending lazer tag line and could not get onto the video games as the kids were camped out in front of most of them. Has mini golf but very plain, needs more obstacles at a minimum. The rock climbing in the back looked like fun but I thought that would be a good day long activity, we only had 4 hrs. Price is really good for climbing to! Try during the week. We were there on a Sunday afternoon.
I've been to Adventure Zone many times in my life but this time was especially special because my sister came to Superior for a surprise visit from Utah, but aside from that. my experience here was great, the games were good and overall I had a good time. after we played a few games we mostly played mini golf and laser tag, which might I add amazing value for infinite laser tag and mini golf. the only complaint that I have is that you can tell a few of the machines were less cared for then the others especi
Fun games, prices are reasonable. We bought the 2 for one pass with unlimited mini golf and laser tag. Only downside is the laser tag didn't have anyone else playing so was just my son, myself and another little boy playing. Although we had fun would definitely be more enjoyable with a group or a busier night of the week. Downsides are like all arcades nowadays nothing on that prize wall is worth more than what $3 would get you at the dollar store. Even if you had 4000 tickets. And each machine gives out ap
Held my daughter's 5th birthday party here. The kids loved the bounce house area! The staff was friendly and the price was very affordable. The party area wasn't very private, but other than that a good place for a party.
Kids loved it but let's be honest a $1 to play some of these games is a bit high. $0.50 should be your price point for those older run down games. Deal or No Deal is a $1 & glitched out twice on us before we decided to give up. It does get pretty expensive quick. If your playing lazer tag just buy a package otherwise you'll go broke! I am not joking! The first employee would have let me buy them seperate all night!?? If you have never been go check it out even the batting cages are a good time! Everybody ha
Had fun @ the Laser Tag Zone! The food station & overall staff were polite! Got the Sunday daily special deal. :) Will come back when we're in town.
Had a great time on a very cold day.. my 7 year old had a blast.
I love their daily deals. Lots for people to do families and children alike.
Good fun place to take the kids. I wish they would get some newer games, seems like it's always the same ones year after year. My son said the new VR thing was fun, but that's $20 per session. Lazer tag was fun and I always love some mini golf.
Amazing and fun time here. Great lasertag, mini golf, vr game, and friendly staff. Took care to have plenty of hand sanitizer dispensers and cleaning.
This is a great place to take your kids! Lots of games, laser tag is pretty good and it's a fairly decent price! Even though our kid tripped on his gun in laser tag and fractured his arm (his own fault) he still wants to go back! I thought the claw machines need some variety or I'd give 5 stars! The owner reached out to me and I tried emailing them but the emails got denied, but I'm sure it's just user error on my part.
Wonderful space for birthday parties. It was under $200 for 10 children and 6 adults. Everyone had a lot of fun and staff were great. Will definitely be doing birthday parties here again.
Went early Monday afternoon and it was nice and chill. Almost no one there. Good time to go if you aren't a fan of big crowds but want to enjoy the arcade.
Amazing place, adventure zone is awesome and has a very very extensive Rock wall to say the least. Must check out!!! Beautiful views and beautiful boardwalk and bridge
Fun place to go but if you have to pee they lock off the bathrooms 10 minutes before close
It was great. I brought my daughter (2yrs.old) and our little cousins I'll refer to them as because they are like our family (both 10 years old). It was more of a late b day present to them as their bdays are close and just past. They enjoyed the unlimited Lazer Tag mostly at first. We played in the Kids Cove. I wasn't to happy with the fact that my daughter was tall enough for the "Big Slide" but because she wasn't quite old enough she wasn't allowed on it. I feel I should have been offered something to si
I loved adventure zone. Adventure zone, someway, somehow, is able to keep things affordable. The facilities are great, the mini golf is enchanting, and the batting cages really add sprinkles to the ice cream sundae that is adventure zone. Thank you, adventure zone.
My kid had a blast here I was also having fun playing the games with her. It's a little pricey there's not a game that costs under a dollar. But other than that it was a good time had by all.
Don't waste your time and money! If I could give Adventure Zone a zero I would! Only half of the games were working and some of them you would not find out about until after you spent tokens on them. I won a $50 on one of the machines and tried to collect it and I couldn't. I spoke with a manager and he told me it was out of his control to help me with it and it was a technical issue and an upper management issue. After speaking with him for quite some time he called upper management and she also told me
The place was fun. I haven't been there in a while. my daughter enjoyed the kids' area. I will say i didn't like that all of the kids' area games were mostly broken? Otherwise, we had a great time with just about everything else.
The day pass was a great value. Mini golf was a well put together course. The facility for laser tag was pretty great. A nice selection of arcade games. Batting cages were decent. The price on food wasn't egregious (although we didn't eat there).
We love this place! Even great for adults with batting cages, laser tag, climbing walls (vertical endeavors), and sports simulators. The games are decently affordable and the laser tag always have specials if you pay attention to the night you visit. The facility is clean and has a nice little food area. After you're done head into Famous Dave's for some real food or Flagship for some awesome Duluth gear with attitude. Also, Adventure Zone is GREAT for parties with several areas for seating. Highly recomme
The young employees who helped with our birthday party were excellent!
We love coming to Adventure Zone for some fun! We have a good time playing mini golf and checking out all the different arcade games. The best part? I like how big it is indoors. Even when it's busier it doesn't feel too packed because the space is big. The worst part? Sometimes the games get jammed, stop working or take your token credits without working. We let the employees know so we can get our lost credit back but we otherwise have a great time. You can also check out their menu for some food and drin
Took my grandson there. It was our day together. We had a blast. Did not rock climb he is 6yrs old and was not interested. Games were fun. He is very good at the claw cames. Nice place to get away to. Have food and snacks. Clerks were very nice.
Tried to order a cheeseburger but the concessions cashier said their cheeseburgers we're nasty add not to order one. I didn't want to order a cheese pizza either because the people that were buying them their pieces we're all burnt. Ordered two hot dogs for $7 and they are dried out and burnt. My kid couldn't even bite into theirs. The place is kind of run-down trash everywhere! Don't know that I'll be back. All the plus side minigolf was rather inexpensive
Had my daughters birthday party there. Not bad for price.
The staff was great, it was something to do on a rainy day with the family and my kids liked it. It wasn't too crowded when we went around 1pm. Unfortunately, I have to give it three starts because the place was so dirty, dust over everything, my allergies were kicking in. Also, the hand sanitizer was out almost everywhere! I had to go to 4 different hand sanitizer dispensers until I found one with some in it. And, I understand they need to make money, but $1.00 for an arcade game? I think that was a little
There is a lot to do here. The mini golf is fun, the arcade has a wide variety of games. My kids loved the rock climbing and the staff there was helpful and knowledgeable. We didn't try the lazer tag or batting cages. Plenty of space and some good appetizers will make for a fun afternoon for you and your family. Looking forward to going again soon.
Got there right when they opened and the fun zone inflatable slides weren't set up. So I asked the staff and they said they would be ready in 30 min. With 6 staff members all standing around the counter talking to each other, it took 5 minutes for someone to finally acknowledge us (we were the only ones there). So we got an arcade card and waited 30 minutes. Still it wasn't set up so I asked them and this time they said they were waiting until someone asked then they would inflate everything. Clearly no one
Kid loves this place. Just noisy and busy almost always. We keep wanting to do the unlimited laser tag, but there's always such a line up that it's hard to be able to get a few games in without LONG waits (there ought to be a better system then the lineups where kids just butt in to the front of the line).
Fun place! Laser tag, climbing Walls, arcade games ,ect ,ect
This place is a safe haven during a blizzard in Duluth. The kids have all of the things they could possibly want to do here. There are enough games and activities for parents to have fun too. The customer service was very pleasant to work with. They offer some concessions as well, although we didn't eat anything it smelled and looked amazing!
Our first time here at adventure zone. With being on vacation, it was a huge success with our kids to break up the scenic visits and just have fun. Price is very reasonable. For $50 our family of 4 enjoyed the kids bouncy houses, lazer tag, batting cages, arcade games, and pizza. For a 3 year old and 9 year old, the range of activities was quite impressive. We will definitely make this part of our trip every year we visit the north shore.
This place was absolutely trashed and the staff members did not care at all. Arcade flooring was littered with trash, some games were broken or had cups and food left on them, bathrooms were not stocked or clean, the batting cages are falling apart, and the trash cans were overflowing and spilling out. In laser tag, employees would be laying on the floor in a circle on their phones while kids ran around and climbed all over the arena (breaking every rule). We saw kids climbing the basketball game and even
Spent way too much on a mediocre party experience. Thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance of a party room full of broken chairs and ceiling tiles. Food was gross. Nobody wanted seconds of the pizza.
My rating is very biased. I long for the golden era of arcades that had regular cabs with fighting games and pinball machines. This has neither. They do have rock wall climbing, batting cages, lazer tag, VR, and ticket games tho. Great place to bring your kids, if you're into that sort of thing.
One of our stops during our honeymoon. We had fun playing games and mini golfing
This place needs a bath! There is a lot to do and it is fun. However, from the buckets around to catch dripping roof water (and missing/splashing making it worse), to the dingy carpet, to the just overall feeling that things are not clean, you do walk out of there wanting a full washing. I will say, the bathrooms were actually pretty clean. The skee ball never gave us the right number of balls. Miniature golf course was fine, for $4 for 9 holes, but needed a paint job, some love and why was each hole at to
Love the laser tag. I was there with family going on a trip and was going to be staying there for a few days so we planned everything out. One of the days we had a void of 7hours and decided to go to adventure zone early because we were already so close in the city. We got inside bought a round or two of laser tag and we came out of there buying the unlimited pass and playing with the arcades and laser tag for 6 hours straight (most of which was laser tag).... would recommend only with a good sized group th
Very enjoyable place to bring your kids. A decently wide selection of arcade games but it still left me wanting a bit more. Plus one of the controller guns for one of the arcade games felt like it was ready to fall apart. Aside from that it was a very fun environment and the staff were very friendly.
This place is exciting to go if your looking for fun
Not thrilled about this place. Was given rave reviews about this? showed up to 10-15 broken games. Only 1 of the batting cages was working, I understand the long lines for Fathers Day weekend, but when every other game is either ?broken? or ?out of order? it kind of ruins the experience. For example, all but ONE of the ski ball machines were broken or out of order and 2 of the 3 batting cages were out of order?. If I would have known this beforehand, I would not have spent the money to buy the ?Ultimate? pa
I went for the arcade games. The Rock climbing changed drastically and you have to fill out a waiver and watch a video. I'd recommend doing this before going if you intend to rock climb. Instead of workers belaying you it's a network of electronics and a machine that does it. Hence the video you have to watch. I only did arcade games and a zombie vr game. I went in with a $50 game card and got at least 4 hours of fun. Their food is good and greasy too ?? the family sized pretzel was as big as my head.
Most of the time we go there it's for the batting cages. Batting cages there are horrible and only work half the time. Also would recommend not using the helmets.
On Oct 15th I reserved a party for my son. We got there and I paid about $90 in total for everything. Out of that was an additional child fee. That child wasn't in attendance so I politely asked if that money could go on a play card for Moore tokens for my son to play. Why did I asked for something for my son to enjoy on his birthday. The manager was very cold and unprofessional . She argued me down about it being there policy but I asked to see it in writing she could not produce this policy that didn't a
My kid loves the batting cages and the huge VR arena a lot of this don't work down the including the photo booth it works when it wants to. Ton of machines need to be services or you spend tons of time at the cashier asking for refunds on unplayable games.
It's fun for a couple minutes. This place used to be so much more fun. Now, when you go in, you see how run down it's becoming. Dated arcade games, spaced out to make it seem bigger. The machines to purchase cards or reload them are not working and even some of the games are broken. Bathrooms were super dirty. The workers were really nice though.
Both my kids had a great time. So many different games to play. The staff could have been a little more attentive to the little kids area. It's not the Zone's fault, but there was a very rude child that kicked my zone while playing in the bouncy houses.
They had an awesome selection of things to do! We like the batting cages and mini golf. There was fun arcade games and bounce houses. They had laser tag and VR. They're connected to Vertical Endeavors which is great, and they're connected to Famous Dave's. Lots of deals to be found and fun to be had!
I expected a little more. The idea is pretty cool, but to me it was a giant warehouse that wasn't very well lit with activities inside. The bounce house area looked dingy and dirty and the mini golf was just okay. My son and husband did laser tag and said it was fun though. If they deep cleaned it and had better lighting and revamped the mini golf I think it would be much better.
I love the arcade aspect of it the games are fun but definitely do not recommend it for a birthday party. We were not informed that we could not bring our own food for beverages IE soda and juice for our 4 year old birthday until we arrived for the party with four 12-packs of soda and 10 pizzas only to get told that if we wanted to have the party there we couldn't have the food or drinks we had to order from them so unless you plan on spending 16 to $18 a piece on a pizza for 30 people not recommended
We did the $95 birthday package it was wonderful! Everyone had a great time. The outside food policy wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. They wanted to supply pizza but everything else was fair game food wise
Awesome fun place for all ages! Except the rock climbing was closed when we visited. Other wise great place to have family fun, birthdays! Etc .... Highly recommend it.
Had a fun birthday party for my 2 eldest boys there (4&3 years old) with friends and cousins (ages 6-17) they all had a blast! A good time with a lot to do to keep kids occupied. The staff was professional and friendly. Will definitely be going back
Laser tag is the best part of the facility. So much better than when I went 5 years ago. Used to be unlimited ammo with no real objective or strategy. They now have limited ammo and health that you need to go back to your base to recharge. Each base has 2 spots to shoot that gives bonus points. There are also several power ups you can activate that give unique abilities. Actually requires thinking and strategy now. Laser tag is 100/10 in my book. Mini golf while fun, definitely needs some maintenance. Woul
Not super impressed, overall the facility is great for the cost but the staff I interacted with were rude. One of the games didn't load the amount of tickets my son won from a game. When I went to explain that the staff member said not sure what to tell you it automatically gets loaded onto the card. Ok thank you for not helping. Not sure who stepped and made it right, a huge thank you to that person and her customer service!
We go here every year over the 4th of July@ it's never super busy and we have a blast playing laser tag! We love the arcade as much as our kids do! :-) It's a good place to have a birthday party too.
Food booths didn't have any food ready any Prime lunch time. Party packages are VERY hard to understand. Need a 24 hr reservation. After you get it explained to you, your only allowed to do about half of the activities. You can do this BUT NOT THAT. It's really confusing. I highly recommend coming after noon, with full bellies and realize you won't be able to do everything unless you buy 2 or more packages. Should give it 1 star but my kids did have fun. I drove 4hrs. Update. 1 star. No refills on soda dri
Stopped with 3 kids on a whim. The building is a little old, dark and according to my teenage kids...sketchy. We had a great time for about an hour a d half on $20. I would recommend it for a quick break in your day. Staff was helpful and friendly.
Games aren't overly expensive. Mini golf was fun but I wish we were able to put our remaining $7 on the card for it. It was so cool the extra stuff like virtual reality sports and the rock climbing Also I have the high score on Crossy road and piano keys.
We were in Duluth for the the MEA weekend. Our son wanted to play, but me and my wife wanted to shop... we walked into Adventure Zone, right up my kids alley, and were greated by Theresa. We told her we were new to then place and she said "Great! I am here to help!" We asked her if our son was old enough to be here alone and she said I think so, is he 12 and does he have a way to get ahold of you if he needs to? I said yes and she walked us through our options. We ended up purchasing and an unlimited play l
My girlfriend and I brought her four grandkids I'm not sure who had more fun the grandkids or myself absolutely awesome place the grandkids range from ages 3 to 9:00 boys and girls all they talked about on the ride home was how fun and how great of a place it was I'm 48 years old and I had just as much fun
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
