Adventure Park USA

Adventure Park USA

Reviews Summary

Adventure Park receives mixed but generally positive feedback, with many praising its variety of attractions for families, including indoor/outdoor activities, laser tag, arcade games, and small roller coasters. Several highlight good deals like Day Passes or Groupons, while others criticize high food prices and occasional broken machines. The park is often recommended for younger kids or as a prelude to larger theme parks, though some note outdated rides and staffing issues. A few negative reviews mention safety concerns and poor management, but most visitors enjoy the clean, friendly environment and short lines. Military discounts and special events like "Touch a Truck" are appreciated.

Ok for the kids, but not really ideal for adults. Limited amount of space, so if it gets crowded, you are out of luck. Clearly needs more workers. Weather is also a factor. The outside part is dictated by it. Some of the rides look like they aren't even operational. There aren't many young kid friendly games. Most are shooting or claw machines and we all know how that goes. The rating could be higher when the weather gets better, but that doesn't change the inside.

A nice roller coaster and attractions park mainly for smaller kids. Some attractions were closed when we visited but the indoor area made up for it. I like that you can pay only for what you use and there were no lines.

I must say before I talk about me and my partners experience. The staff is truly welcoming, friendly, professional and overall accommodating. The rides that were open outside were fun to ride. It would?ve been nice if they were all open though. Now, when it comes to the inside attractions, we were overall disappointed. We had to ask employees to help with the bowling lane because the lane only dropped 7 pins. After informing an employee, he gave us a free game and new lane which only dropped 9 pins. So?saf

Adventure park is a great place for kids to have fun and even more so for birthday parties. The food is actually good and they even have good beer for adults now. Their birthday ice cream cake was a hit and the pizza was good as well. Laser tag is extremely fun. Bowling is a blast as well. It just gets better in the summer with outdoor activities. I highly recommend this place.

I went on an adult only night with a group of people. A nice little whimsical thing to do! A lot of fun and strong drinks. My only suggestions- 1. Please play music on adult nights 2. The wait for food is entirely too long. I ended up giving up on getting food after not even putting in my order and waiting in line for 20mins. Otherwise a fun little thing to do! Will be back for a future adult night ??

This is a very kid friendly little amusement park. The rope course was fun for my 7 year old. The bumper cars were a cool new thing to experience for the kids. There are three different small roller coasters. This place is a quaint old school amusement park. Pretty small but also very affordable. This is not a replacement for something like six flags. Hardly any crowd. Love these local small businesses.

Odd that there are no season passes except once a year. Beyond that, fun place, exactly what you'd expect from a small town amusement park. Everything from rides to games cost points off your card, similar to chuck e cheese or dave and busters, but seemingly at a fair ratio if you buy the most expensive option ($100 I believe). As a family we probably end up using about $40 worth of points each trip (2 young kids).

I attended a birthday party on Saturday 5/24/2025. I should've seen the red flags when they had it posted in the gaming area that they were short staffed and we would need to text to ride on some rides so an attendant could come to the area so you could use certain rides or other attractions ( did I say we were on a time limit for everything) Also that a lot of games, and rides were not even operational but no discounts were given for anything they are charging for in their party packages and they rushed us

Adventure Park is one of my favorite attractions in this area! It keeps my family busy for hours and the zip line and ropes course are so cool! I don't know anyone else in this area who has it. Great for indoor activities in the winter and in the nice weather, plenty to do outside and in!

I had an amazing experience at this childcare center! The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming environment for the kids. The facilities are clean, safe, and well-organized, with a variety of engaging activities that keep the little ones entertained and learning. Plus, the attached park and attractions are fantastic! The kids had so much fun exploring the playground, and the nearby attractions provide the perfect opportunity for family outings. Highly recommend this plac

ADULT NIGHT REVIEW: Let's just say it looks fun but it's not. It was so overcrowded, the lines were super long, they didn't have enough condiments for your food. . It was so unorganized. By the time I got my food and drink it was going on 12am and it over at 2am. This is crazy, I really feel like money was wasted. I could?ve stayed in my town and went to a local Dave and busters and would?ve had more fun. The only games that was working in the arcade was the claw machines everything else was out of ord

We had our son's 10th birthday party at the Adventure park and it was a huge hit. The party room was large enough for 12 kids and 10 adults. We had pizza, the ice cream cake was very tasty. After that, kids enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor amusements offered. Laser tag, bowling was very popular, along with go-kart and roller coasters. Parents had fun too. The park was very clean and employees were helpful. Thank you to Annabelle for being a great hostess. We will go there again!

We had my daughter?s 10th birthday party here today. We have had birthday parties here in the past. We felt rushed out of the party room. I can get over that. But the ?unlimited rides that we paid for 10 kids? was weak. Only 3 of the rides were offered when we got outside. Eventually a 4th ride was offered. But the kids got bored with 3 rides fast and all ended up back inside. Our 450$ birthday package gave the kids 10$ each in the arcade and that didn't last long at all. We felt bad when the parents that w

At three o 'clock in the afternoon, you were having a great time. The door was closed and you wanted to buy some water to drink. The machine was also turned off and the remaining money in your card was not refunded and i am pay for cash

Cool little place ! Visited 8/2 and the ENTIRE staff was friendly which is a first for us! Some folks usually have attitudes at places like these. While the staff seemed pretty young but they were all definitely well mannered, maintained cleanliness of the place and smiled at customers! Only rated 4 stars due to the rides being slightly sketchy and very rocky. Walkway was gravel so be careful wearing certain shoes. Limited selection of games since a lot were down or accepting money from the cards and not a

This place exceeded all our expectations. The indoor ropes course was a blast for my 14 and 17 year old, since we had the course all to ourselves. And Monica the manager was the nicest person I've ever met working in an arcade / entertainment center. A great new place to add in the rotation for family Fridays!

We stopped by and had a blast! I can't believe more people don't come here? Adventure park is amazing! And great for the kids to have fun outside on many of the rides and nerd out and win prizes in the arcade! Huge shoutout to Val for helping me and my family out with our order, he even gave us an extra slushy on the side. Great food, great games, great rides, no other words could describe this place. Definitely coming again!

It was a great experience especially for Elementary school kids. Small ride and small roller perfect for Elementary kids. Lot of Arcade games. There is a bowling and Laser tag.

Place is full of things to do but the mini golf is trash! Course is all ripped up. Nothing has been repaired in years! They have a dried up water fall/fountain and there are holes that require that water to function! Do not recommend mini golf at all!

Well, it's spring break week, and you know the house was full. They were not prepared, one cashier stood in line an hour, then the all-day bands weren't worth the value since most adventures were closed. They are very short staffed in the day, I'm assuming. However, when leaving at 7pm, they were starting up some of the activities which in which we didn't stay since being there since 1pm. Maybe try again in future.

The restaurant is good and fairly priced, but don't get me started on the arcade. On half of the machines, it will steal your money from card if they are broken. Even though the staff is helpful at getting this fixed, it is still a pain. The attractions like the rope course and mini bowling are highly confusing to play and even the mini bowling lane we were on malfunctioned at one point. The rope course is such a long wait that my daughter couldn't even get on it. This place is understaffed and needs huge i

Went for the mini golf during spring break. Sure was craptastic. Only 1 employee running the counter and they definitely needed 2. The course was poorly maintained, old, and uninspiring. Just getting the tickets was confusing. My daughter won the 19th hole but got 250 tickets which is nothing and basically got her erasers. I won't be back.

Awesome park!!! It's small, but you can still have a lot of fun for all ages. Even though there's not much a 1 year old can do, but my friend's daughter had a really good time as well. Nicely themed arcade and entry to the park/arcade. Themed to the Old West. Rode The Wildcat and was impressed that it was smooth and fairly well maintained for it's age and had been relocated a number of times before staying put here. The part that I was really impressed with was how smooth the go-kart track was! Almost all o

Great place to visit with the kids. The admission price includes 25.00 for the arcade and ride and ride all the rides you want. It's a small place but the kids love it. They don't have any big huge name brand rides but it's still exciting and fun. In the arcade you can earn tickets which goes straight to your arm band and you can trade them in for different items.

For an adult night This place is for kids. The tickets were not even fully checked at the door? The food is the only thing good there. But there's no menu to know what you're paying for. None of the machines work only like 2 worked. Most things are outdoor things were open while it's storming. There's more things to do at Dave and busters and chuckie cheese tbh ? a waste of money and time drove over an hour for nothing

I don't think they were prepared for the traffic that came in on Friday. It was hard getting help dor anything, but the place is definitely a cool place to visit. A lot of out of order signs.

Was a little underwelmed but it was ok I guess. The swing wasn't even in operation for whatever reason and was the main reason I wanted to go. A few of the arcades took my $ and a few weren't in operation. Food was decent though! ??

It was fun for all ages, nice price packages, nice rides for teens too, not just the small children! We will be going again!

Limited staff that had way too long of lines. Not their fault, they had little help. 3-4 machines were eating pay taps and not playing correctly, but the staff were too busy so I didn't want to ask for a refund. Arcade has a decent selection but a lot of the games are a little buggy in my experience.

Great for kids too young for Six Flags! Has a lot of indoor rides, laser tag, arcade, ropes course... absolutely amazing! It's not too large, that I feel comfortable letting her do her thing. They also have a military discount.

Adventure Park USA is a great place for adults to come and gather with friends. There are rides for all visitors and the coasters are the best! Consider visiting for an after hours party with your adult friends. The food and drink options are excellent. Make sure to say hi to Erik when you visit.

This place is just alright in my book. The inside arcade is fun, my kids love the bumper cars, obstacle course, rock wall and the play place (which is currently closed due to COVID). But I was hoping to get more access to all the games with the weekend adventure pass. It didn't include majority of the arcade games - you had to buy another money card for those. And for what you get outdoors, I don't think it's worthwhile in comparison to a Six Flags experience. The rides were in decent shape but they didn't

Grabbed a posted deal for a fireworks special. We had fun as a family outing, and the fireworks show was nice. While it was not a Disney style presentation or finally, the kids loved being up close to the action. After the show they had ice cream and wound down by playtime in the gallery.

The park on a whole is amazing. I would advice getting a Day pass because you get unlimited attempts for the main Attractions and 1 hour free time on limited arcade games for only $28.95, a great deal! In my opinion the most addicting inside attractions are the Virtual Reality Video Game "Hologate" and Lazer Tag! If I could go everyday, I truly would with no hesitation!

My day was made with this bright and fun family friendly place. Super clean, staff was not only eager to help but also seemed approachable and like they actually enjoyed their job. Can't wait to come back on the weekend when rides are available, lucky to have a gem like this so close.

What an amazing place. Got to give mommy a break and took my two monkeys on a fun filled day. They have a ton of activities and the place is super clean. The staff is friendly and the food is great. If your looking for something to do with your kids or family, this is the place to take them.

Surprisingly good time... its like a Dave and busters on steroids ????.... you've got the option of arcade, amusement rides, so golf and climbing around the facility on celining... I and my son enjoyed ourselves

Played mini golf, indoor arcade and a few rides. Somewhat pricey. Be prepared to drop a couple hundred bucks minimum

Our 10 and 12 year olds had a blast here, as did us parents! We were there on a Saturday from 11am to 6pm and the kids were entertained the whole time. Hardly any lines, the staff was all really helpful and polite. The park was clean and well maintained. Later tag was SUPER fun. We were nervous when we saw signs saying you could text to have a ride operator come if no one was present, but that system actually worked really well. Someone always came quickly and they even texted us back a few times. My onl

Great place for the kids. Lots of things to do. With the whole family. Got a great deal on groupons for a whole day pass. Took my church class and they loved it. Laser tag, climbing , mini golf and some outdoor rides. and much more.

HUGE family fun center! Lots to do on the inside and outside. Great fun family coasters. Friendly staff. Clean environment. HUGE themed party rooms. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking to have some fun!

Took the kids for a fun day close by. I think I loved it more than them. The staff very polite and safety cautious the owner so cool and down to earth. Allowing photos with a military truck. What grown boy wouldn't like that. Negative..... All attractions where ala carte and kinda pricy.

They were having the "touch a truck" event. There were two monster trucks and. Multiple work trucks, cranes, sheriff vehicles, hill dozers,, etc. The kids had fun and. Enjoyed the free giveaways. 99.9 WFRE was there as well. Overall great time

Hade a great time! Great llace.for the family to go. Kids 10 and up would really enjoy this place.

Wow, a real family style amusement park so close to DC and Baltimore, in nearby Frederick County. Three, count em, 3 roller coasters, go-kart track, carousel, and so much more. Great time for the entire family. Food and drink is good and with indoor or picnic style dinning, you can enjoy a meal too. How about indoor amusements and games, yep Adventure Park USA has those too. If you are going to use it for a business function, do get them to commit to a price early. My experience was they delay for a real

Celebrated my daughters birthday here. Lots of fun and things to do. Laser tag and go karts were the best. Highly recommended for good family fun.

We absolutely love it here! Bowling, arcade games, 3D theater, rock wall climbing, rope course, laser tag, putt putt, Roller coasters, indoor playground soooo much you can do.

A few roller coaster rides and an indoor arcade. Don't expect anything like Six Flags or a large theme park. It's expensive compared to the larger theme parks but it was fun for a nice afternoon adventure.

We booked a party for 12 kids on August 3rd and they had an absolute blast. I would have definitely gave a 5 star review, BUT some of the advertised attractions weren't available. All in all we had fun, the park was clean and we enjoyed all the perks that came with the package. The staff was nice, but one of my biggest pleasures was our party host (I can't remember his name). But he was an absolute delight. He was friendly, helpful and interacted with the kids, he gets a 5 star. I can't comment on the resta

Stopped by to get a couple roller coaster credits yesterday on our way back to Ohio. This place has alot to offer and you can make a whole day out of it with the inside activities and outside attractions. It was a pleasant little gem on our way home. The staff was super friendly

Fuunn!! In. A clean family friendly environment with pleasant staff and music. they have a nice food court and mini golf a couple of roller coasters laser tag pretty decent arcade area and cute little bumper cars and bumper boats.... oh and don't forget about the awesome go karts and little Ropes Course

Great arcade specials. The wristband band included old school games (nothing that gives tickets) laser tag, bumper cars, golf and bowling.

Great family fun place! My kids are 12, 14 and 15. They love going there! We live nearby and were curious if it would be good for our teenagers. Well, we walked in and looked around. A man came up to us (who turned out to be the owner) answered all our questions and showed us around! Very friendly staff! They make sure everyone is having fun. Well worth the visit. My favorite part is the lines (if any) are very short. You can do anything you want! Laser tag is a blast! The pizza is very good too! If

We had so much fun this weekend! The staff did a great job handling so many eager guests, even though they're all young teens working there. The food was really good since adding the smokehouse. The attractions never seem to stop changing, which makes it a hit every time we come! The bathrooms were clean. There were a few arcade games that took our money again like the last time, but if you have the time/patience to wait for an employee to help you, you can get your money back.

I see the shady owner keeps trying to delete negative comments. This place is a death trap?stay away. I have already filed a safety report with the state. And the daycare is a nightmare?they have been closed multiple times for an array of offenses, just look online. Given how full daycares are and yet AP always has spots available?huge red flag. The owner yells and curses in front of visitors and is weird around the kids. Just stay away.

Had a great time with the family. Dominic was fantastic and well versed on all things fun. Will come again.

Easter Sunday hours may vary does not specify what time you are actually opening. Families drove hours to come to your establishment to a closed park. Very disappointing!!

A nice selection of activities, but not overwhelming. A very manageable sized park. When we were there (on a Sunday), there were no significant lines. Most rides we walked up and could get on within 5 minutes. We Will go back. But wish they offered a season pass.

Not too bad on weekends. But the coaster ride are so rough. It's jerk and whip you around for my back and neck.. The go kart had a horrible wait time. They should bring more kart out for weekend. We waste our time on the line for 1 hours. It's not big park and it's ridiculous to have only 1 staff do all the work. So painful too watch how he worked. The arcade was a rip off. Some machines are 2-3tickets. The place looked run down despite to the price is too high.

Next time put signs on the door and change your web page to show you are closed. Drove over an with family!! Do not purchase tickets prior to arrival!!

Our Company recently hosted our agent appreciation event at Adventure Park & we are so glad we did! Becky was great from start to finish. She was communicative, offered many options, helped to narrow down what we needed & truly went above and beyond to ensure that we had a smooth planning experience and an awesome day-of experience! The food was great, the park was clean & the staff were truly top notch. We will be returning next year for sure! Thank you so much again Becky!

This place is so much fun for kids (and adults!) Of all ages. Great variety of rides and games for everyone. We love the touch a trick event and have been using the summer camp for years

Not for adults and had outrageously priced food and drink. We got the wrist band package but were bored after a few rides. Great for the 7-11 age range.

Really fun park, lots of activities. Lines not too bad. Good mix of outdoor and indoor activities. Staff was friendly and nice. Seems they are understaffed as there are signs saying to text if there is no staff by the rides. No issues on any rides

So my daughters and I decided to get out and do something fun I looked up places to go in Maryland Adventure Park showed up its in Frederick not that far from me. When we got our destination we we're so excited anyway we went in went to the desk to a young lady helped us afterwards we got the deal that cost $175.00 it was a good deal. All in all we had a great time ???? we will be back

Adventure Park rocks! While yes tickets are a bit much it's nice to have the addition to Frederick. Lots of games and rides. Ease of use with all rides. Busy Sunday afternoon but didn't feel crowded.

Park has changed for the worse. Now you have to text the park whenever you want to ride any of the rides as they don't have the staff to fulfill all the needs of the visitors. Spent lots of time waiting instead of riding.

I went as a last minute addition to a large group of kids. I didn't get a wristband with the group. I had no problem with paying for a wristband. The person in front of me had their credit card declined, but had enough cash on hand to cover the purchase. When I attempted to purchase my ticket, two things happened. I asked if they offer a veteran discount? because they had their display of virtue signaling that even prompted me to ask. They don't. They did however, offer me to go their atm and pay the surcha

Outdoor rides, indoor games, laser tag, good food. Not too crazy crowded and parking is easy. Lots of rides for little ones.

My 2 years old son paid his park bracelet at regular rate. They didn't offer any discount, so I expected parent can help rides some of the "with companion." rides. I had to pay to be companion, in this case they should offer discounted rate for kids height between 36" to 48" because many of rides need to be over 48" or need companion. Also, at the restaurant, we paid $5.99 for Icee cup and refills for $1.59. I thought refill was unlimited, but NO we had to pay $1.59 each everytimes we refill it. They shoul

Had a lot of fun with the family. Great place for games and intertainment. Recommend for kids and adults.

Can someone please take the animals away from this place? First time stopping by after driving past it for years. Walked outside to a goat with his head stuck in the (incorrect) fencing. I ended up stretching the wire with my wife who was in the pen helping pull it back through, while other people looked on. No attendant. The person in the green shirt said they are ?checked on? every two hours. Feels like a place where you pay some $ and can do whatever you want

I took my family here this past weekend to try out smaller coasters and thrill rides before we go to a larger park since my oldest daughter is the only one of my 3 kids to ride any of the big coasters. After a slow start with my younger ones (12) warming up on the junior coaster, Tilt-A-Whirl and Scrambler I can say we got our money's worth. They all rode the 2 coasters, Wildcat and Wild West Express multiple times, my older daughter drove the go karts twice and they went on the bumper boats as well. The

Went out here on Sunday for the first time for Cars and Coffee. I had a great time and I'm looking forward to going back in August for my cousins memorial.

The people here are awesome. Food was great rides were fun. Games reasonable priced. What a wonderful day. More grandparents should spend the day there with grandchildren.

Rock walls, laser tag, go karts, rope course and much more it's a time of fun for the whole family. Laser tag will have the adults feeling like kids again!

Stopped to this lovely park while traveling from Baltimore to Cleveland. We were excited to see that the park had their outdoor attractions operating on Labor Day. Staff were friendly and prompt, if there was a ride we wanted to ride, they were there quickly to operate the attraction. If you are a roller coaster enthusiast, this is a nice stop off of the highway to ride a few fun coasters as they offer a pay per ride option.

This place is a community gem!!! It caters to really serving the local community and I love that! They keep things reasonably affordable and offer so many different events to give people a fun place to be. Example, they have a fun Friday 5-8 special basically meant for teens- 4 people, unlimited laser tag and a full cheese pizza for $45. There are adult nights to play. Mini golf tournaments and wonderful after school arcade specials. It is always a good wholesome time!! absolutely you should check it out!

Great time there with the kids. I do wish they had a few more indoor activities. Price was great.

It's just a nice small adventure park that has limited activities for kids and adults.

Absolutely love this place! My daughter rode her 1st roller coaster at Adventure Park! We have so many great memories there from Breakfast with Princesses, Halloween pumpkin ride, birthday parties, go-karting, and so much more! I've seen so many upgrades and additions throughout the years like bowling lanes and the bar area for adults! Definitely a family friendly environment and activities for all ages!

First time visiting. Outdated but still functional rides (some). Hottest day of the Summer so far and the A/C inside was not able to keep up so we were sweating almost as much as we were outside. We enjoyed the go-carts and the roller-coasters with the kids. I know the economy is not good now, but the prices for food and drinks are too high for any budget, so bring lunch and snacks in a cooler and eat in your car. We will be returning for more fun.

I just had a delivery here in and out..truckers do not park on the side street for no reason even if you delivering for Costco you will get a knock on the door by police i got a 60.00 ticket smh..

We had been here for birthday parties and it looks very fun and organized place.

Had a birthday party for 10 kids. Pizza was great! Very friendly and attentive staff. Facility was clean and almost all of the games were working. The kids loved lazer tag and bumper cars.

Great family park! Playing Christian music which I respect and appreciate. Fair pricing for everything except food.

It is my first time vitiating this place and I found it fantastic, a wide variety of games.

This Place Was Sooo Much Fun ! I Went Here For My Baby's Birthday Party And All The Kids Had A Ball.. There Is Endless Activities And Fun For All Kids And Adults.. Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are retro games in arcades still good in this modern age?
