We really enjoyed the arcade and miniature golf. They have 3 different courses to choose from
Friendly enough staff, but definitely needs to be cleaned inside and out. The water is bright green, many of the things are just being held together; there's several golfing equipment in the water, and there's a distinct smell of mold outside. Inside. Inside the games are okay, however some of them don't work and it's a little disappointing. It is well priced though, and the staff were fairly friendly.
A little run down but not out. Went for some late night mini golf and had a great time. Staff was delightful and attentive. The mini golf course is a little "lack luster" in difficulty/obstacles and could use a little tlc and maybe some re-layout. Price for mini golf is very reasonable. Can't speak to much else as mini golf is all a partook in. If the facility was a little cleaner/updated I would have given five stars based on this first experience.
I have such nostalgia for this place. My dad took me here all throughout the 90s, but it really is still so much fun, too. All the courses are fun and challenging but still fun for kids. The game room had a lot out of order when we went but my neice still managed to get enough tickets for a prize. We had lots of fun.
4 different arcade games were eating tokens No air conditioning in the main building on a hot summer day. 5 different games out of order. Absolutely filthy interior. Like it hasn't even been swept in weeks, not to mention wiped down.
Decent mini golf course and arcade. All of the holes are very similar with no pizzazz. I'd recommend a cooler course if you wanna have fun. The arcade was small but you win tickets so that's nice
Moved from Oregon and wanted to check out the local attractions. Took them here. What a waste of money honestly. Walked in and one staff was on his personal phone sitting in a chair. Played a whole round of putt putt and the same employee was still sitting there on his phone. The bathrooms are disgusting. The water part of the course was full of algea, golf balls and putters (some were rusted in half from being in the water so long). Would be nice to see the employee that was sitting on the phone clean the
I certainly had a fun time here on the three golf courses! There were some areas where the fake grass looked a little bit wrinkled and old, but I don't think that messed up my ball at all! One thing I might suggest is that they maybe should implement a way for water to drain through the holes better, as I was there after a rainstorm, and some of the holes were quite flooded with water when I reached down to get my ball Additionally, this place has an arcade and bumper boats.
Staff was very friendly. The arcade games that still use quarters and tickets were nice. The mini golf course is better for practicing putting and was not very fun for the kids. They got bored within a few holes.
I arrived here around noon on a Sunday afternoon to putt putt with some clients. It wasn't busy at all. I had bought a Groupon and got a great deal. Golf for 6 people and 60 tokens was under $30! Once everyone aaa present, we got started. It was around 12:10pm. For putt putt, you must outside to pay and get equipment. They will provide the club and ball for you. There are two tracks you can go. Since I been here before, we did the track by the water fall. It was nice because there wasn't many people there
Brought my mom here to celebrate her birthday with some fun! It definitely seems like they are updating the site, which was much needed to be able to play correctly...but the pool for the water boats is still just nasty, and a real eye sore. The machines inside need some attention and maintenance. We were limited on tokens and 1 machine that costed 4 tokens for each player, took all 10 that I had in order for just MYSELF to jump in a game to play with my mom who started ahead of me with just the 4 tokens sh
Sure it's not kept up the best and some of the games and equipment are out of order, but Adventure Landing were the real MVPs this day, March 9, 2025. I booked my son's bday party at another venue. Upon arrival that venue said they couldn't honor the reservation. I called a few places trying to come up with a last minute "Plan B". Adventure Landing graciously allowed us a party space, even without a booking. My group managed to have a great time.
Sooooo everything closes early on Sundays in NC and we needed something to do. We found this place online and decided to have a fun night out with my friends from the Marines, while visiting my some who is playing baseball for the disco turkeys. The course is pretty fun we had a couple of hole in ones and we stayed well after closing to finish and no one complained or rushed us. Good times and good vibes.
Took two of my grandsons, and they absolutely enjoyed their time there. They played miniature golf, games in the game room, and water boat ride.
Me and my 2 teenage kids had fun playing mini golf. I would go back for an inexpensive hour of fun.
Awful online application process. Plus they require piercings and tattoos to be covered. I'm sorry my MOTHER'S NAME was visible on my wrist. Good luck as your application pool gets smaller. 32% of us are tattooed.
I took the kids for a lil golfing about a week or so ago. I had purchased a groupon for a really great price. They have more than just golfing but the water area isn't open yet. I wasn't impressed with the arcade.... Every other game was closed of course due to covid-19... So i understand... But if the ones we can use aren't already being sanitized as we go... Then what's the point of closing every other one... ? Other than that. We enjoyed our time there. It could use a lil TLC but to take the kids out for
They really need to take more pride in this establishment. They need to get new railings. Replace the hardware. Clean the water DAILY? This is NC for crying out loud. GET BETTER!!!!!!!
Had lots of fun!!! The staff was amazing definitely going back! My kids said it was the best day in the whole wide world I'm sure that means they enjoyed it very much!
We had a blast took a ton of kids near to the place closing and they were very patient down to the last minute.
Stopped by today and the air conditioning was not working, which made it really hot. We tried to stay and make the most of our time with kids. The lady behind the desk was very unkind and unhelpful. It was a hot and miserable time, but the kids did have fun playing games. Five of the machines had "Out of Order" signs on them. Three other machines took our coins but did not end up working. I just tried to use up the coins we had bought as fast as we could. We counted up all of our tickets at the end and went
The place itself is fun. Good specials. The issue we had was that all of the grown men who worked there were very unpleasant. The only friendly employees were 2 younger girls. We will be back because it was enjoyable, but we didn't feel welcome.
Being my first time coming and I will be back! I don't know the worker/owner who was working Sunday but he was an awesome! Me having to use a walker he made to everything easy for me and I appreciate that. So that's one of the main reasons I will be back and plus it's a place to take your family on a Sunday.
It's an ok value for your money. There are daily specials, and we took advantage of Sunday's "family day" special, one round of putt putt for 4 people and 20 tokens for $25. That equals about 2 arcade games (most games are 2 tokens) which pretty much ensures you'll spend more money for additional tokens, because what kid only wants to play 2-3 games? We purchased another 120 tokens for $20. That was enough for us, but we were finished with both putt putt and games in less than two hours. $55 is not exactly
Adventure Landing is truly an awesome place regardless of the time of year. In the warmer months there are bumper boats, three different miniature golf courses, and an inside arcade that even adults will get sucked into playing. There are a couple of rooms for birthday parties, and a great selection of prizes for all the tickets you're going to get. I took my wife there on the weekend and they were probably 10 families there, so going through the golf courses and playing through the arcade was very nice and
Excellent outdoor miniature golf ? course near everything in Winston Salem. Right across from Hanes Mall, they have two courses, indoor arcade, number boats, and concession stand. They also have ? handicap accessible parking, restrooms, and ramps.
Normally it's been an ok experience for the price in the arcade area. Today the AC was broken and the lady working the desk was on the phone and did not acknowledge me as we were patiently waiting to be helped. My children were struggling to wait as it was so hot and waited over 10 minutes for help. We ended up leaving because we could not wait anymore. Half of the games inside were broken as well. It's sad this place seems to be going downhill.
This place use to be a great place to go. But now I would not recommend it to anyone. The games in the arcade didn't work right and the staff royally sucks! No kind of customer service when you tell them the machine are broken and no refunds on anything. Even the sign is missing? maybe I should have taken that as a sign to stay away! I recommend everyone else staying away also!!!
We visit for putt putt. Price and service are both really good. I suggest paying for the 3 games of golf and if you dont have enough time to do all three you can go back whenever(for us it was more than 6 months) and play your remaining games, no expiration. Nice place to play and take a break.
Erica was so kind and was the best birthday party captain. She kept on checking on what we needed and provided the help needed. She was very sweet with the kids and kept them entertained. Would definitely recommend for hosting birthday party there. kids will love it
Love this place but in a bad need of a remodel! And getting too pricey.
there were only a few games, which is fine, but a there was a decent amount of those games out of order, leaving less to do. Unlike other arcades the games did not feel too rigged to win tickets, and we were able to get a small prize for a short amount of time playing. the mini golf is cute from the road, but pretty boring, every hole felt the same, an almost straight shot with some bumps, no tunnels, loops, etc. the interior looked like everything was sticky. we were the only ones there on a Wednesday morn
Visited on a Monday, at 10am when they opened. Wanted to purchase the boat and golf combo. Was told the boats would not be available until noon. We purchased that ( golf and arcade time should get us until noon). The staff member that helped us was very unfriendly, almost as if we were bothering her for asking. We played golf, no fountains were working and the course was very dirty with tree debris that had not been cleaned up. After the arcade, we were informed that the boats were not available due to mai
Staff was kind and very friendly. First time I had been there since Putt-Putt closed...YEARS ago. Had 6 people in our party...all had great fun...
This place was fun and had a very good friendly feel to it. The points are fair, however, like any other game amusement venue, some of the games don't register the points. However, the staff is quick to rectify the discrepancies. The putt putt was a bit wet and the pads were a little run down, but you could still make it competitive and worthwhile. There's not a lot to do in that area, so give it a shot and enjoy your time there.
Not sure I'll go back. Went to redeem free golf games for the kids, and bought drinks and game tokens. No guidance was given for golf... we were not aware there were 3 courses to choose from. We had an issue with more than half the arcade games we played - took coins without allowing play, shut down during game play, etc. Two workers running the place were not enthusiastic and were only mildly helpful. One stayed on her phone most of the time and we couldn't get her attention to help.
Fun place that has been here since 1969! I've been going here since a kid and now my kids get to enjoy it as well. Nice staff who are always so patient with any issues with games and picking out prizes! Thanks Adventure Landing for being a part of Winston?s history!
I honestly don't know why the reviews are so high here. The place was not nice. Several games out of order and so many malfunctioning. Had to get staff to give us tokens back that machines ate multiple times. Prices not horrible but I wouldn't waste the money going back. The bumper boats looked nasty.
Broken Arcade, mini golf was terrible and covered in trash and leaves, snack bar prices are worse than a movie theatre. Only plus is it feels like an arcade from the 90?s ? run down and about to close
These guys are great! It's a place I enjoyed in my younger years and still enjoy today, even more so sharing it with my family. The staff has always been friendly and courteous. The putt putt courses are well maintained and clean. The arcade is also well maintained and clean. Any time that there has been an issue with a game or with tickets, the staff is always ready to help out and get things going again. They have bumper boats also if you're interested. We rarely get past the putt putt and game room!Absol
The place is decently amusing for what it is, but half the games inside are broken. You can tell this place used to have some real life to it, but most likely died over time. Fun if you got a half hour to blow, but not worth going out of the way for.
They've changed some of the greens on the minature golf course which makes it nice to play again. Prices vary depending on activity of choice, but free to walk in the door. For 2 people to play all 3 courses comes out to $22. Aracde inside and bumper boats outdoors (not sure if these are active at this time)
Was babysitting a 10 year old on a cold day so took him here for the arcade. Not great but not aweful either. $20 of tokens kept him occupied for an hour.
We had a good time I just wish they would upgrade a little bit since of the golfing post are wet from water leaks besides that it's not bad.
Outdated. Mini golf is fine, they just repainted some things. The arcade is ok but you need a lot of tickets for really cheap, pointless prizes. I won't be back anytime soon. Be sure to check Groupon so you get a good deal.
My kids and I had a good time. We played a couple games of mini golf and hit the game room for a bit. Golf course was kind of messy, good bit of trash laying around. The game room was fun but a lot of games took your tokens but then didn't work. The ticket taking machine broke down 3 times on us. Overall, we enjoyed our time. They seemed to be very short staffed.
I would like to give a major shout out to Erica from tonight the service was amazing I unfortunately didn't get the name of the other young lady that worked with her but they were absolutely helpful in every possible good way, we won so many tickets tonight it was unbelievable!! I'm very grateful for the assistance with loading every single ticket as it was definitely a busy night and I hope that in the future more customers will learn to appreciate good hard working people especially in the arcade! ???????
It is an awesome deal and great fun. We loved the bumper boats and the golf. Everyone was fantastic and the arcade was also good. Sodas were a fair price. Very good value for the price as well. We had tons of smiles for about three hours and it was less than $25 for the two of us, including drink. Loved it!
This was a fun place to go putt putt. Loved the fact it had a waterfall in the middle of everything even though it was not running when we went. That was my first time going and I chose that place just for that reason but they didn't have it running. It was a disappointment when it wasn't on when we arrived. The only downside was the fact that there were a lot of bugs flying around that water so if you weren't careful they could get in your mouth but that was only on the course with the water. I didn't see
We had a great time playing miniature golf! I would have given it 5 stars, but the handicap accessibility could be improved a bit. My friend uses a walker, and it would have been nice to have sidewalks that were a little wider to accommodate it. We were able to just roll the walker across the greens though, so it worked out fine. It was in the low 80s when we arrived. That's about the max for me to really enjoy the experience. It was 85 when we left and I would not.have wanted to continue playing with t
This place was really quite fun. They have three different putt-putt courses, an arcade, and a bumper boats area. The putt-putt courses are clean and simple with a safari theme. The arcade is small, but the machines are in good condition and actively fun. The staff is relatively friendly and helpful, though a little disinterested probably because they have children running around daily (which can be understandably overwhelming after a while). Overall the place is small but it is nice, clean, and fun.
Was really a disappointing fun game night with friends. The pumps weren't working on the water and it had a bad smell. Then the wooden floor was extremely rotted near where the waterfall is and is was not roped or taped off. If we had not noticed this I prob would have fell through it if I'd stepped on it. We had to report this and they were taping it off when we left. This place has really went downhill compared to the way it use to be
I used to love going here. It is still fun, but it had gone downhill. The last time I went, several lights were out, making it harder to play. The water was gross looking, it obviously need to be treated, it looked like frothy mud. It still smacks of the 80's, going there it was a Putt-Putt branded course. It is still reminiscent of my childhood, but it needs some TLC and maintenance for it to recapture those glory days.
I was here for my niece's birthday party. Her parents paid for the Ultimate party package that was suppose to include all this stuff for the kids to do & have all these decorations. The water boats took over a hour to prepare; which took away the time from the party. Granted they played while they were being prepared but at the end of the party the so called manager had the nerve to be mad at us! For asking where the manager was when we took a picture for the party & was misinformed about it being put on a
3- 18 hole courses to play, an arcade, and bumper boats. A little dated and not as fancy as say a putt-putt at the beach or something but still fun.
Meh... It's okay, but really run down and not very clean. The staff was rude and honestly just lazy. One of the machines didn't put out all the tickets we won and the lady who helped acted like we were such an inconvenience. The waterfall on the putt putt course was really low on water, full of balls and clubs, trash, and slime. There was also broken glass on the course. I will not be going back... I just would much rather drive a little further to find a place that takes pride in their business.
We played mini golf there earlier today. While the mini golf was fun, the place definitely needs to be maintained better. The carpet on each hole was ridiculously dirty and some even had moss growing on them. Several of the animal figures we're missing body parts and the water for the rivers, ponds and waterfalls hadn't been cleaned in a long time. There was trash floating all in it.
We had a blast. The ladies working were so nice. Their putt-putt course could use some updating but for the price we paid we weren't disappointed. I would definitely come here again if I'm in the area.
It's got the standard features of most mini golf places. I'm not the biggest fan of redemption games, but Time Crisis 4 easily got my attention.
It's always a blast when I take my kids there, we all have so much fun! Also UNLIKE many other "arcades" their prizes don't require a ridiculous ticket amount for the good stuff which makes it more affordable, fun, and enjoyable... The cons are that it's smaller on the inside so depending on the people it can get VERY annoyingly cramped and also I was disappointed at how many games were broken or not working correctly this past visit.
Fun place to spend some family time. The courses are not really complex but still fun. On Saturday they have a great deal from opening to 1pm where you can play unlimited putt putt, battle boat ride, and 40 tokens for the arcade all for 10 dollars.
Love this place way better than others around. It's cheaper, the games are better, and you win more tickets for prizes. I love the fact that they have the bumper boats and put put, to give you a rest from the arcade.
It's ok. We only got to go to the arcade tonight. It's not too much to really say about it. A few of the machines were out of order. It's not up to date by any means and it's really small, but the kids were fine with it. The tokens are priced better than other places but the snack bar is over priced like many places. The prizes are also better than other places in my opinion. We will be going back.
Me and my family enjoy stopping here when visiting the area. There are 3 courses with 9 holes each and you choose which 2 you want to play. Has a small arcade inside that the kids love to do before exiting the afternoon. Staff seems nice.
It's a good mini golf and arcade place but it needs maintenance the golf area if falling apart and machines are down often in the arcade and last time we were there the pool was solid green. So my review is probably a little nostalgic and at the moment is more of a 2 or 3 star but it used to be a 5 star
The mini golf courses are all very similar. Nothing challenging. Like they put blocks in random but only along the sides. Not really obstacles. I guess for kids under 10 it's fun
A little run down but a nice family experience with the kids. We took our grandkids there (3, 10 and 13) and their mom and dad (even bigger kids)The little one was disappointed he couldn't ride the bumper boats but quickly rallied when he could play video games and get snacks. They offer great veterans discounts covering the whole family.
The arcade had some games out of order but the games that were working gave out fair amount of tickets...unlike Chuck E Cheese. Multiple games had decent jackpot amounts and the items are reasonably priced. Loved it here and I highly recommend it to those who are just looking to play some small scale arcade games
My family and I went here for the first time tonight and we had an amazing time! We played putt putt & arcade games. The man who was working was extremely nice and made our experience even more enjoyable. The prices are good and we can wait to go back!
Pretty good place. A lil dated but given the pandemic it can be overlooked. Arcade is small but kids loved it. Putt-putt was good although it doesn't really offer a challenge. It's just short holes with lil obstacles that are easily maneuvered around. Good for what it is and even better with a groupon
Nothing out of this world. That being said, the facility is clean. The arcade selection is limited but it does include some of the newer games available and does not feel outdated. Kids can win tickets as well which can then be turned in for prizes. The mini golf is pretty laid back and straight forward. If you are looking for a challenge, well this is not it. Price is very affordable however and it is a nice place to bring the kids or have a silly fun night with some friends.
It's been years since I had been able to come here. It was the perfect day date for my husband and I. I'm happy it's made it through COVID and that it hasn't changed too much from when I used to go as a child.
Fun afternoon outing. Great place for a date night or first date. Clean and quiet.
Mini golf was fun and challenging, bumper boats were slow and barely squirted water and 35% of the arcade games were out of order so that was very disappointing. Staff was very friendly and eager to help and the bathrooms were clean.
We had a fantastic time. The staff was so helpful. We had a fantastic host and the manager Liz made thing go as smooth as they could. Everybody had a blast including the adults.
Came in at 9:33pm, online states close at 10pm, asked to pay a 20min round of putt putt. We were told that all sales are done at 930. Per the website you are open until 10pm. No where does it say we close down at 930. Therefore this place is BS and there staff makes up their hours so they can leave when they would like to. I have been young and dumb too but it's not good for your business?just saying! Correct you website to say we close at 10pm but you better make it by 930 or we can't make that sale!
The staff was friendly. The property looked cleaned and well taken care if. We had so much fun on our family night at putt putt! We would definitely recommend this place.
The putt putt was fun. Its definitely an older course andnot could use a good upgrade. The inside was small dirty and HOT!!! I would recommend going for the putt putt anything else you can forget it.
My kids love this place. The mini golf course shows some signs of age, the bumper boats are expensive and the arcade is the 7th level of hell but the staff is really nice and my kids ALWAYS have a good time.
If you're looking to take your kids somewhere for some easy affordable fun, this place is your ticket. If you're an avid miniature golf enthusiast looking to play a series of challenging courses that exhibit even trace amounts of diversity and complexity with each hole, I would suggest you save your money and find somewhere worthwhile. My experience comes from a time when a friend and I were given some free passes, and decided to go out and play all 72 holes in all. I was completely blown away by the lac
It was so nice to get out of the house and play some mini golf, they have three courses. Beginner, intermediate and hard. We got to play two games. Because the second one was a dollar. They have a water fall course that takes you inside and out of a waterfall with giraffes on it. It was a nice setup. And inside they had token games that you get tickets from or you just play to play. Like shooting and racing games. The prizes are that great for adults. But that's alright sometimes you just go to play and get
It's a place to take the family to get away from the house. If it had go-karts like the website showed then I would have given it a 4 star rating. If the games that you put your tokens into gave you tickets that you are told you won, then I would give it a 5 star rating. If they took time to put a little more thought, creation reconstruction and up-to-date on some of their things, then they would make a lot more money at the location in Winston-Salem. Especially, seeing that there's nothing else to do in Wi
Great place for Putt-Putt and arcade. Yes items are overpriced on tickets but never seen an arcade that is not. Great specials. $10 for boats, tokens, and all you can play Putt-Putt. Can't go wrong.
Very untidy. Rubbish and food wrappings on floor and in bushes outside. Golf needs to be cleaned. Water in golf was all over the putting area and pond had cups and bags in it. Looks scum or film in water. Could be a filter issue. Staff very informative and unfriendly
Good miniature golf. The arcade machines are a little glitchy. But if you get cheated out of coins, just tell them, they usually given them back and maybe extra. Prizes for tickets are pretty pathetic, but what place gives great prizes for an arcade without spending tons? Can't speak about any food, never get it.
A great place for fun with family or friends. Been going for over 30 years now and it's still fun.
This place has great potential. Game upgrades, facility updates, and an expansion would make this a great place to spend time as a family.
It was ok. Very small. Mini golf was best part
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
