My son & I went here on a weekday. We just played in the arcade. Had a great deal on tokens. Wasn't busy at all. He racked up on tickets. Was actually a good time. The gentleman at the counter was friendly and cut up with my son. We decided to come back on a Sunday with my husband. We wanted to play mini golf and batting cages. There was a tournament going on. So we chose the back course. We had a good time. But we decided to skip out on batting cages due to the long lines. (Which was expected bc of the wee
We had a blast! Plenty of seating for my elderly parents to take breaks between holes. No fancy frills like windmills or sand/water traps but price can't be beat for a nice day of activity. We got the 10pack for $47 so you can do the other courses back to back or another day.
Price wasnt bad. Used Groupon for mother day. The miniature golf was great. The arcade is mediocre and small . However, it wasn't crowded and it was good for my special needs child. No bright lights, not noisy, just enough games to play to excite him and tire him out.
We had a great time. I'm not sure why people are complaining about the miniature golf course being easy or simple because this place is for kids and families to enjoy. Some of these reviews sound a little silly when you could do a little research before you went. They offer two 18 hole miniature golf courses and it takes a while to get through one. The gentleman working was more than willing to let us come back and complete the other course that we paid for, at another time as the kids were ready to get out
Our family loves coming here. Prices are reasonable, music is family friendly, and staff is helpful. This is a great place for kid parties. They have everything you need! Games, mini golf, pizza, drinks, cups, plates, napkins, etc. They made our son?s 6th birthday great!
Let's just say I'm glad we drove there to scope the place out before purchasing a groupon to try it out. The facilities are super outdated. The golf course looks very plain and basic. The arcade area is ok but the inside is outdated and even had a smell to it. It wasn't dirty...just had a musky smell. My teens refused to get out the car and go in just based on the lackluster vibes from outside. Maybe it would float your boat if you're coming from an area with not that many options but we drove from Charlot
Had a great time. Prices are great. As an adult, I will admit I enjoy playing the arcade games, but I give my tickets to one of the children there.
My kid loved the animal course with the waterfall. I like that there are 3 different courses, so there's lots of room to safely distance. I appreciated the signs reminding people to maintain 6 ft. The place is clean, and I saw balls and putters being disinfected as people returned them. The price is great with $1 more to play a 2nd round. They have arcade token specials as well. We don't do any indoor activities and can't rate the arcade but it looked clean with space between machines.
Grandkids enjoyed it first time they ever played. We played a round of putt-putt. Then play some video games in the arcade. Not as crowded as you'd think with birthday parties going on. No waiting
We had a groupon for a round of golf and some game tokens. The place is small but it has two courses to choose from, a small, but very clean arcade, and the staff were very friendly. Most importantly our boys 7 and 9 had a great time and it was a fun coupke of hours of family time. We all decided we would come back!
Took our son for the first time to mini golf. We got a deal on Groupon that gave us one round plus some tokens. The courses were fun and we enjoyed our time. My son had more fun playing the games inside. Definitely a good spot to take the family.
I love this place, the guy that owns it is a good guy, the Groupon specials are awesome and my kids don't mind the 25 min ride to Gastonia.
Had my first date here with my now husband 2 years ago! Its such a lovely little place to have fun in the sun.
Undeniably the least interesting, least imaginative miniature golf course I've played on in 40+ years. Nearly every hole is a straight fairway with no obstacles. Save your money?give your kids a stick and a ball and tell them to go play in the driveway.
Took my son for his birthday, putt putt was fun. And decently clean. Arcade was nice. He earned enough tickets to get a block set that was 2500 tickets. We get home and he goes to play with it, and it's already been opened and used?? There's a bottle lid mixed in with his blocks, dried food on the blocks, parts that don't even belong in the box in there. And all the stickers that were to be placed on the blocks were all over on piece with no sticker sheet contained. What a rip off! I get it, it's an arcade,
Had 3 different miniature golf courses, batting cage, and the arcade was fun.
The mini golf course was in good shape and we played a round without any issues. The arcade games were hit or miss, it felt like they were designed to eat tokens without providing much fun or tickets in return. The batting cages had a lot of participants so it might be something we check out next time.
My kids and grandkids had fun the boys went to the batting cage to.
Our family had a great time. 3 different courses to choose from. The staff was super nice.
So good my son actually played the putt putt more than the games a very friendly environment and its easy for kids to get jackpot on some of the games so overall a 8.5/10
My kids had a ball!! My son has ADHD and he talks A LOT. I appreciate the staff being so nice and accommodating. There was a special going on, so the tokens lasted us a couple hours. A much better alternative to Chuck E. Cheese, if you want a place that's less crowded and has a mom and pop type feel. Highly recommended!
Great experience at this Adventure Landing everytime we visit from Winston Salem.
Always a blast and great pricing! Update: I just had my son's 8-year-old birthday here. What a fantastic value. The staff was very attentive and offered us more than what was in the package. All the kids had a fantastic time! We booked relatively last minute and everything was still in place when we got there.
Such a great little place to take the kids. Large game room full of arcade style games, and of course, the little mini golf course. I was pleasantly surprised that they have kept it up as well as they have. I used to go quite frequently when I was little and lived in the area. Now, we take the grands when we come to town. I actually had my oldest son's first birthday here, and it was really great! (Now, that was 25 years ago, soooo...I'm not sure of pricing now.) Often you can find coupons, but the prices r
VERY fun place whether you're looking for some spontaneous entertainment for the kids, or planning a bday party. VERY reasonably priced ( ALWAYS a fantastic deal on tokens), and plenty of fun games and activities. To include mini-golf, batting cages, and indoor games etc. My kids LOVE the place (me too lol). Hence our many many many visits over the years. Management/staff is courteous and just good people in general. HIGHLY recommend!
The kids love it. I got a discount from Groupon. Saved a bit of money. Great people run this.
Love this putting course. We think it is th e best in Carolinas. Place is always clean and greens always look good. Management is very kind. As seniors we look at pricing and they make it affordable so we can play two rounds. Highly recommend.
Had my 9 year old daughter's birthday party here today. The staff were friendly, courteous, and had the room setup when we got there. They also did all of the cleanup. Pizza and drinks were included in the package as well as 30 tokens for the game room, party favor bags, and miniature golf for all 15 children. I felt there was sufficient time for each activity and everything flowed smoothly. Definitely recommend.
It is fun and relaxed. It's very family friendly.
Nice mini golf course but a small arcade
We had a lot of fun in the arcade and at the batting cages! Any issues we ran into were promptly dealt with. Nice place to bring the family!
I come here specifically for the batting cages. I feel like it could be upkept better, also the service could be better. Specifically talking about the younger staff there. The older staff look and act like they care about the customer more. I was there with my son and his friend a few days ago. I went to the fastball cage and the ball was hitting the machine protector net on launch causing erratic pitches. THEN the rack ran out of balls and wouldn't restock automatically. So did the medium pitch cages
So fun as usual, quick rounds of mini-golf with the kiddos, some slushes, games, and a jackpot win you can't lose for a family night out. The place is clean and the staff is awesome. We frequent here a lot just to have something fun to do on a boring evening. Very affordable!!
Me and the wife took the boys out for round of putt putt. We had seen online the had a 5 dollar special which was an incredible deal. We got their and went to pay and was informed I would actually haft to print the coupon and bring it in. That was very disapointing for a first time experience. We went ahead and paid full price.... Kids had fun. Its a great experience for the family. Went and played in the arcade. Wish they just cost 1 token. The kids were all so confused on how many went were. They all cost
We live in Shelby and our son goes to school in Gastonia, so the location was ideal for an immediate after-school birthday party. Prices are good (especially for mini golf) and the arcade has a fun variety of consoles, from games of chance to a cool piano key game (fun for parents too). Everything was clean and in good working order. Friendly and very helpful staff. Kids arrived from school, got their cups of tokens, played the games, then popcorn, pizza, and cake in the birthday room, then mini-golf. The
Cute little courses for younger kids. It's nice that they have a batting cage. Those are hard to find. Prices were reasonable. Not sure it's worth the drive from Rock Hill, but we enjoyed it.
This place was fun. We got the groupon. Nearly all the arcade games take 2-to-4 tokens per play, so your tokens don't go as far as you think they will. The golf course is on the older side but clean and well-kept. The kids had a good time, which is the main thing. Will come here again.
Love this little arcade. The prices on the games are very reasonable and I can usually earn enough tickets for some good prizes for my kid. The putt putt is fun too! The manager is very friendly whenever the machines glitch and don't give tickets or eat tokens he will gladly fix it.
This way definitely the worst experience I could have imagined. First things were dirty and unclean and no employees were wearing masks. In the cusp of COVID, this is very disturbing considering the amount of children that frequent the place. Second, we asked the young man behind the counter for change and tried to hand him a $20. He looked at us dumbfounded like we were beneath him. After asking for change 3 times, he said change for what and how? He may hate his job, but my wife and child should not have
Had a great time . My kids had a lot of fun and the staff was very nice and accompanying.
So are we not going to address what happen to that little boy getting jumped by 2 older kids?! And not even bother to apologize to the parent's of said little boy? I hope he sues yall to no return. Justice for officer eudy's son
Had an issue with not printing coupon so we left the other day. Wednesday special of $10 for 70 tokens was good deal and fun for after school. Man working today was nicer than other people we usually encounter there.
We enjoy going to Adventure Landing to play video games! It's a great place to have a little family fun!!
Not the most exciting putt putt course I've ever been to. Each hole was pretty much the same. On the bright side, prices were reasonable and the park is well kept. Something fun to do if you have kids.
I took a group of special needs adults and they had so much fun. There was only one staff while we were there and he was absolutely wonderful and so patient with us. Definitely a fun time kind of a small arcade but it was still worth a trip.
Terrible staffing, all they did was sit around on the equipment in the back talking. I would not recommend anyone going here. I spent $25 for the Sunday deal that i was told I get 4 games of golf but only got 1 game and 20 coins wasn't enough to play the games. Lucky my kids still enjoyed themselves. Overall, disappointed well never go again.
It's pretty decent, prices are good for games that actually give you tickets. The prizes are reasonable as well. Good way to kill an hour for 20 bucks. If you like putt putt it's pretty good, too.
Fun place that's usually not too busy. The courses could use updating but they're still fun. Small arcade in the front allows playing for tickets that can be cashed in for prizes. Great place for a couple hours of fun with kids.
There are 3 putt putt courses. Found some.decent discounts on Groupon. Nothing special about the putt putt courses. The game room was fun for the kids and is the typical play for tickets place. $40 will get you a couple dollars worth of stuff. But knowing that, kids love it and the games are fun.
Dirty the greens are beyond help it needs a total face lift. The greens r to short for the price to outdated and def worst putting place we have ever been !! thank goodness it only stole 50$ and 30 min of our life. We were very rushed bc a family behind us kept yelling at their kids and the kids were smacking the balls everywhere but the green, almost hitting me and my family including our 8 month old in a stroller. Which brings me to the fact thus place is not only not stroller friendly it's not handicap
This is a very good place to go and kill some time. It has plenty of games for every type of player. Its minigolf is fun, and looks great too. However, even though it is overall a good place, their food is pretty much limited to corn dogs and candy.
Had a great time! Me and the wife took the grandbaby and played 2 rounds of Putt-Putt. You may want to call ahead and find out if they're running a special, they do run specials from time to time. You have a lot of fun with the family for very reasonable price.
We were excited to go miniature golfing, I guess we are old school no windmills to try to hit the ball through. Covid is still here and we didn't see anyof the equipment being wiped down. Outside or inside. It was a hot day when we went. There should be umbrellas up at each hole so you don't have to stand in the sun while you wait your turn.
Insanely boring...Me and the wife went to play some mini golf and it was horrible. Worst mini golf course ever. Every single hole was just a straight line with maybe a small bump or rock in the way. That's it! No tunnels, no jumps, twists or turns, nothing creative at all. We were so bored after the tenth hole we just left. Total waste of money. Can't even imagine kids having fun here. I set up more interesting courses in my back yard when I was 10. Save your money and time and go literally anywhere else.
This place is absolutely DISGUSTING! Nothing sanitary about it! The batting cages were AWFUL! Half the balls never made it to the plate! I took my son here hoping he would have his first batting cage experience for his birthday and this place FAILED MISERABLY! This place should be SHUT DOWN! Fair warning!
We had a blast! My son, wife and I actually went there evening after graduation we played mini golf for hours then played the games inside. Nice family place...for kids and adults alike. Going again soon !!!
Always a fun night. ????
Me and my boyfriend went for my birthday great prices and a lot of fun
We took our kids here and let me tell you!! They loved it! We only got to play in the arcade part but they have batting cages, mini golf and something else I cannot remember. The arcade had fun games that give a good amount of tickets and the prizes are wayyyyyyy better than Chuckie cheese! Needless to say we no longer go to Chuckie cheese we prefer adventure landing! ????
Adventure Landing was actually pretty disappointing. We saw a commercial for a large arcade and mini golf. Thought it would be exciting to take my son and nephew but after driving an hour to get to what we hoped would be a big deal this place was super disappointing to find out how small the arcade actually was! The mini golf was alright but don't go on a really hot sunny day because there is hardly any break from the snow. There is a small snack counter and the food is good.
Seemed kind of dirty and one employee had a little attitude but I get it, we're in the middle of a pandemic and she probably doesnt get paid enough. The games all worked and both my kids were able to hit jackpots on the games.
The first 3 arcade games we tried all gave us an issue. 1) The shooting game said one of the guns was missing on the left side & the right side had a loose trigger. 2) The fish game didn't register the fact that we put tokens in it. 3) Fruit Ninja, the tickets were jammed... One of the attendants had no problem issuing us tokens to reimburse us for the problem and came to fix the jammed tickets quickly. Not that we required much attention but the ladies working seemed to be way more concerned about their ce
Great place for a birthday party. Some of the staff are great friendly and caring. While some are just rude and don't care. The games weren't giving the correct amount of tickets. But other than all that it's a place that needs to be updated and I personally think that the games are very overpriced! Next time I won't choose this place.
Great place for family fun. The staff was very helpful and they care about the customers. The facilities are clean and we'll kept, and I would recommend this place for anyone who enjoys mini golf and arcade games.
For a mini golf/arcade don't expect much. The older guy behind the counter was not so friendly, and stared at everyone as if everyone was there to cause a problem....limited on choices of drinks and it was dirty inside. The mini golf was ok...courses were a little boring
Games were reasonably priced and use tokens instead of the cards that most places have switched over to. And the prizes were not an unreasonable amount of tickets for something that'll break before you get to the car. It's been quite a few days and everyone still likes their prizes.
Grandsons loved the place. I personally thought that they were not enough games..they were machines that you received tickets for. They used to be full of games to play. Maybe it's the sign if times and i'm not up to date.
My girls are 7 and 12. They both love the golf and games, but they especially love the great prizes they win with their tickets from the arcade! Prizes are waaaaaay better than Chuck E. Cheese around the corner!!! Don't waste your money on some old rat and go to Adventure Landing instead!
The mini golf is good for killing time since there are so many, but every hole is just about the same and not very diverse. Arcade games are at least up-to-date which is nice and the staff was cool with me.
Batting cages, putt putt & arcade games. All in one. Affordable family fun. But the arcade is a Lil bit on the lacking side of variety and choice. Otherwise id give a full 5 star rating
Great family fun. Well kept up and employees are friendly. Very reasonable prices. Game room is fun, machines are kept in great running order.
is nice place to get the kids into something, they have a mini golf course and also they have a baseball and softball batting ring which is my favorite. the arcade games need to be update and fix up too do to always having problem with the coins being stuck
My granddaughter and I really enjoyed this place. Just like any arcade it's expensive, but she had fun so it was worth it. Played for 2 hours put put and arcade for $40
We played miniature golf and did some batting practice. They also have a good number of video games. Summer hours : close 8 pm on Sunday
The putt putt courses are very fun to play. Great place for kids. Wish they would upgrade some of the video games, but a fun place to hang out with the family for a couple hours
Family had fun, Mattie the employee was super helpful and nice, stopped what she was doing no matter what question we had! my little girl is only a year and a half and enjoyed running around ! prices are reasonable!
I like it because I like to play mini golf and arcade games, so does my family. I just wish the younger people who worked there were a little nicer. Amp up their customer service skills!
Very friendly staff, my children had a blast. Fair pricing and awesome prizes. Definitely would recommend this for an outing for families!
Great place! Great deals!
The courses are bland. Though the staff was friendly enough on my three visits I had the misfortune of injuring myself on the course. Though it was my own clumsiness that lead to the accident I expected perhaps a first aid kit to be available. I wasn't impressed with the wad of paper towels I was given to staunch the flow.
Great value as always.
Nice place to bring the kids for a couple hours. Not a lot of games inside, but enough to entertain children. Three miniature golf courses to choose from. Good price.
Loved it as a child and love it as adult. My friend took me to just get away for hour and we had the most fun ever. It wasn't crowded, they kept things clean
All time favorite place to take my 4 year old. Best games for the price. Not much food choices, eat before you go. And you will have a blast.
Alot of fun. The Saturday deal of unlimited golf and 40 tokens for 8 dollars a person is a really good deal. Its every saturday 10am to 1pm
The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The grounds were well kept and the prices were reasonable. The red icee was a little watered down but the blue one was fantastic.
Family friendly, clean qe had a blast
Small but the kids had a blast. Staff was very helpful during the birthday party. We had a great time
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
