We went to Activate for our 12 year-old?s birthday. We had seven in our group, four kids, three adults and all of us had a lot of fun. For the amount of activity that we were doing we felt that it really needed to be much cooler, but other than that, it was a great experience.

Took my wife and kids here tonight (ages 7 and 10.) It was a fantastic experience and sooooo much fun! Brought us closer together as a family working together to complete the games and level up. Highly recommend for date night or taking your family out for some good clean fun. We were skeptical of the price but after the experience it was 1,000,000% worth every penny! GO!

Activate Games is another popular interactive gaming spot in Overland Park, Kansas that you need to add to your bucket list! Been there twice now with my middle-school aged daughter and some friends. We both had a blast - it's a good mix of gallery-style games, puzzles, and other challenges. It's a great place if you have kids that are getting older and starting to transition away from the playgrounds and trampoline parks. It's fun because you can play the games WITH your kid rather than just stand off to the side and watch them play. Highly recommended.

This place was so fun! Came for a birthday party of a friend and it was one of the most fun nights of my life! Most of us in the party were strangers to each other, but we still collaborated and had fun together which made the whole experience so much better. I love the variety of games and that there are increasing levels of difficulty. If I could have a membership to come here like a gym I totally would!

Had a great experience! Did 90 minutes and only still played maybe 25% of the games with our group of 4. Each level is quick so you never are waiting in line for very long. Some of them get a bit crazy and active so wear something you are good with running around and sweating in. And a water bottle! Tons of fun though and well worth the money!

This place was loads of fun! I've been looking forward to it for some time and it did not disappoint! There are so many fun games to play with different levels that are fun for all ages! You can even earn rewards towards some gear. The cost is resonable, which is hard to find in this economy, and it's a great atmosphere for some family fun or even fun for a team building event. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and they may even join in on the fun, too! It was well worth the wait.

We've come here for a preteen and teen birthday party for our kids. Everyone always has a great time. Games are either cooperative or competitive. There's several rooms and games go quick.

So so so fun. Knew it would be fun but it was even more fun than we expected! So promptly came back for another experience. the technology is cool and I love that each room has so many different gaming options. The weekday deals and bonuses are quite nice too. I think mega grid was a bit glitchy the second time I came- some squares flashed without anyone on them and lost us lives- so it would be great if that could be attended to! We really enjoyed our experience going here for my husband?s birthday along with our two kids who are around 11 years old. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would!! SO much fun and different than anything I've ever been to. Our kids, 9 and 11 loved it and had no problem with the games. You go to these different rooms with different games like laser mazes, lighted up floors. You listen to prompts and follow them and can play cooperatively or competitively. We went on a weeknight and had so much fun with zero wait time. The website should be more descriptive about the necessary attire. You should wear active wear and you must have tennis shoes (not just closed toe shoes like the site says).

Activate is a fun activity hub where a group can play games, solve puzzles, as a team or competitively. I've been to many of these types of businesses, but I think activate sets itself apart by being more sophisticated with their gaming options. The usual format is different rooms where each one is a different activity/game. They have this, but they also use variations in each activity/game to keep things ever changing and interesting. My family went and had so much fun it was insane. We had people playing from 21-48 years old and it was such a fantastic way to exercise while having a blast. It is so clean and well organized, the guys at the front desk were so friendly and ready to explain, and the game modes were plentiful. We went to activate in Atlanta last month and were SOOOO HAPPY to see one opening here! We took our boys this time and had a BLAST of course. We watch the show the cube and this is similar and me and hubby just think this is the best place ever. Clean, fun, sweaty, challenging! Love! We took our grandsons (ages 5 & 8) here a few days ago. The 8 year old loved it. He was able to play in every room and find an activity suitable for his age. The 5 year old was freaked out by the laser room so if you have a child sensitive to lasers, skip that one. He (5 yr old( did especially enjoy the Strike room, throwing balls at asteroids to blow them up. We had a blast for my daughters 20th bday. My husband and I took my daughter and a friend, and she was really surprised and appreciative. She's a competitive person who likes to be active, so it was a perfect event. I wish it were a little cheaper, so we could consider going back again soon, but it was special nonetheless.

Activate was great! We went with our 9 and 11 y/o nephews and it was already their second time going (it's been open for just three weeks). I didn't know what to expect before going, but holy heck that was such a blast! We had a group of 8, but it's a max of 5 per room, so we split into 2 groups. Honestly, we couldn't get enough. What a fun time! We live out of state, but definitely wish we had one of these by us!

My son had his 14th birthday party here and it was a majority of my family?s first time visiting this business. I booked a birthday lounge and it was spacious enough for my group of friends and family totaling about 25 people. There was a booking mix up so I recommend making sure you know what time you'll have the lounge and what time your game/playtime will begin; however, the staff was pleasant and very accommodating. Super fun place! As a child of the late 90s/early 2000s, it has a familiar turn-of-the-millenium techy vibe. A bit like laser tag but with less shooting and more thinking, and every bit as much exercise. Will definitely be going back!

I'm so glad we have an Activate in Kansas City, after first experiencing it in Texas! We have been looking forward to visiting since Christmas of 2023! We have visited 3 times since it has opened and it never disappoints! Such great staff, GREAT games and experiences and technology that isn't glitchy. I only wish it was 6 man rooms instead of 5.

We would have given them 5 stars, but we received a random unknown kids picture. We also think they should also start times when you are in the games not in the area. Older people may have to sit down for awhile and the time counted against them even when they were not playing. Otherwise, it is a great concept and we will likely be back.

This place is awesome! Huge selection of games and varying difficulties to keep you entertained. Employees were super helpful giving suggestions and helping us navigate the games. Try to find a time that isnt busy. We got there at six on a week night end of summer. It was good for about 30 mins. Then fighting for rooms. Wish we could repeat rooms, if someone was waiting. Everything was new and nothing was broken. Fun to be able to switch it up and do rooms by yourself if you wanted instead of forcing team play all the time.

This place was so much fun! I've been to BRKTHROUGH before (their competitor) and enjoyed this place more! Less rooms than BRKTHROUGH...however the option to select up to 4-5 different game modes per room and level up in each room made it seem like a new room everytime! This is a great place for middle schoolers up to adults as the games are interactive for many age ranges! Take your tennis shoes, be prepared to sweat, and give this place a go if you are looking for some fun!

If you've played BRKTHROUGH in Overland Park, I gotta say this place in 10x better! While, yes, there's less rooms technically, most rooms have at least 5 unique modes that are so fun. This place actually keeps track of your score visit to visit, there's rewards, there's better queueing if it's busy, and the rooms all actually work and have instructions, great music, and exciting challenges. I can't say enough good things about this place. I can't wait to come back!!!

In my opinion, this is the most fun activity there is in Kansas City. Our group of 6 had so much fun we turned around and bought a second session immediately after the first was over. Will definitely be making regular visits from here on out!

Aria was SO AMAZING!!! Me and my friends have never been to activate before, and the MINUTE i walked in she was so helpful!!! She was very attentive and answered every question we had! Great indoor place with options for older kids

Had a great time at Activate! Our group ranged from 5 to 69 and all 12 of us had so much fun! It's rare to find something everyone can enjoy together!

Such a fun family outing! There are tons of different game options, all of which were challenging and fun. The technology worked perfectly, and the staff was so helpful. We can't wait to return!
