Great time! We are 22 and a group of 2 and had a blast! Would be fun with older children to older adults. Small groups to big groups would enjoy this place. Very kind staff and easy to understand instructions. Make sure you're warmed up to throw, run, shoot hoops, and sweat! You will be constantly moving so I recommended wearing athletic clothes as we were sweating!! This is a great place to go for kids and adults. There's lots of games to choose from and they're short so you don't have to wait very long for your turn. All the games are lots of fun. We went with teenagers and they had a great time. The games are very active so make sure you dress light. Games are for 3 to 5 people. If you have more than five people you have to split up. if you have less than three, you will need to make some friends so you can play.

Wow! What a blast! I went here with my husband and 2 kids (10 and 8), and it was honestly non-stop fun. I was recommended Activate Games by a friend, and it was definitely worth checking out. We had an absolute blast!! We had a group of 9 people, ages 6-54 and every single one of us had an amazing time. We all left smiling and sweaty. The price is fair for the fun you receive. The bathrooms are clean and a drinkikg fountain is provided. No food or drink, which is OK, because there's tons of places nearby for before or after you playtime.

Activate (Utica) was so much fun. It's a great activity for people of all ages & a great way to get moving while also having a good time. Exciting date night idea, family outing, or team bonding. I planned a cousin day with 8 of my cousins ranging in age from 14-45. Everyone had fun, laughed and were able to show our competitive spirit. It's hard to get teenagers involved but the 3 with us had fun and even smiled in pictures. It is definitely worth the price and we will be back.

My boys ages 7 + 9 LOVE this place. It is really a great concept. The amount of time is perfect, the staff have always been patient and helpful. The slots are timed perfectly so that groups really can bounce around without having to wait!

Loved this place! It's fun no matter if it's for date night, family fun or a friends night out. I suggest bring a water bottle with water, as you can leave them in the locker, unless you want to use the public drinking fountain. You will get a workout so it's best to wear t-shirt and shorts. There are several different rooms with different games. You pay for 75 minutes of fun and it's 100% worth it!! Oh and some rooms have phone holders to record yourselves.

I cannot recommend this experience enough. We went with a group of 5 people ranging in ages and we had an absolute blast. Such a fun place for everyone of all ages, we had such a blast and the staff is so attentive and helpful. This was only my second time going with my kids and a group and we all had a blast. I was so happy to have my husband join and we plan to go again. So many rooms and games just know if you plan to come to Activate plan to sweat, be active, and have a good time! 10/10 definitely going back again!

I brought my 3 kids (12/9/7) here on a very cold Saturday. I expected it to be packed and chaotic. It was surely busy but the set up of how the games are played and how your play time is counted is awesome! Crowds don't scare me here! There was MORE than enough to do for all of our ability levels. It was the most fun I've had at an entertainment place in a LONG time. 1000% recommend for parties, team-building, dates, etc.

We played a variety of interactive games, we ran, we crawled, and we threw some balls. We came here for a friend's birthday with a group and it was SO much fun. You can work up a sweat here, so make sure to wear something comfortable and breathable. Even though it was busy when we went, the way they have the rooms set up/timed it didn't matter because it kept the flow of the game rooms going so you never really had to wait long. We can't wait to come back!

Had an absolute blast at Activate over their opening weekend. We brought middle school boys, high school girls, and two adults and we ALL wanted to return again. We were sweating up a storm and wish there was snacks or beverages onsite, even a vending machine. Also would be cool if there were membership options for daytime workouts.

The staff do a good job running the place. They tell us exactly what we need to do. They gave us very understandable instructions. I like that they have lockers and coat hangers. The place is surprisingly clean for an arcade compared to places like Dave and busters and Chuck E. Cheese.

For 90 minutes I laughed, ran, jumped, got very tired;-)! They need to sell water and other light refreshments. It is easy to get worn out there, but all in good fun. It is great for pre-teens and up. Adults:book in groups of two for better competition and cost. You will see why if you book a larger group of 8 or more. Don't say you weren't warned. Now go and activate those muscles you haven't used in a while and have a lot of fun while you're at it!

Great time for the family or for any combination of adults and kids (I'd recommend you make sure there are a few kids the same age to play together if they under 10). Great design to keep the games in each room to a few minutes. They allow you to stay in the room to play again if there's no one waiting for the room. Since opening in late September, I have gone a minimum of 20 times. Whether I'm showing a new group the ropes or going back with some people ranked at the top of the leaderboard, each time has been equally as entertaining as the first. All of the employees are kind and welcoming. If you're lucky, you'll get to meet Hannah! She's super sweet and always super helpful when I bring new people. Highly recommend going!

All in all we had a decent time with our first experience here! The games ranged from mental to physical and were all were super engaging. A couple of things to note- The staff wasn't very friendly (also not rude either), just telling you what you need to know. I'm sure it being a weekend, they were overwhelmed. One of, maybe the BEST place to go out with a group of friends in the Detroit area. Male, female, super active , not really active - no matter. There truly is something unique and creative for everyone. Absolutely incredible time. The manager Ethan was super friendly and helpful and helped us iron out an issue. Activate was so much fun! We did a family game night here and everyone loved it! Fun for all ages. My youngest is 6 and the games were a little hard for him, but it was still fun all being together. I highly recommend this place and its a great workout...we all left a little sweaty, haha! We will definitely go back.

When asked to describe Activate, I often say it is a series of interactive escape rooms that combine both physical movement and cognitive strategy. Great for both adults and kids, especially on a rainy day. I recommend going during off hours as it is much more fun when less crowded.

Awesome activity for groups and families! Have brought several groups of adults and kids as young as 8 and everyone has had positive experiences. The system for getting people in and out of games quickly seems to work well, even on busy days. Only room for improvement is that the gift voucher payment system could use some help.

Me and my friends are over the age of 21 and we still enjoyed ourselves. We were definitely a little sore, but we had a lot of fun. Wear loose clothing! Most rooms cause for a lot of moving or running/movement. Great price, and staff were super helpful and provided good customer service.

Review first goes strictly to the closing manager on Sunday the 12th she was super helpful, friendly, and kind. We've been to several Activate locations, and this one wasn't much different. We went with two 30+ year olds, our 11 year old son, and 19 year old friend. Everyone had a blast. All the game rooms were fully functional! In the past, we've usually had 1 room with a malfunction during our playing time. Staff were courteous and pleasant. Rooms were in excellent shape. Facility was clean and well maintained. My only complaint, if you can even call it that - is that the bathrooms and water fountains are located

This place is unlike any arcade, trampoline park, activity center, or whatever you want to call it. Truly a one of a kind and extremely fun place for kids around 8 or 9 to adults. My sister was lucky enough to grab a free slot for the grand opening of Activate-Detroit (Utica) and she invited me!! We also brought my 17 and 13 year olds and her 13 and 10 year olds. We went here with 6 adults. We didn't know the rooms were only for 5. We came out and were told it's only for 5 people and only 5 can go in. It was weird to have an odd number. We were able to split our group but it would have been nice for an even number to go in together.

Fun! Fun! Fun! What a creative idea. We went on a Sat and although it was pretty full it didn't feel like it. The set it allows traffic to flow very well, and if there is a wait at one station, you have so many other stations to skip to. The variety of game play options is a perk. The cost is very responsible, especially if you come as a group of 4-5 and you get 70mins of play time. We've been here 3 times in the last month! This place is so so fun! I highly recommend to this establishment that they put hand sanitizing stations at every room exit instead of just a couple in the main lobby. Definitely check this place out, there's nothing like it!!

Had a blast with 8 people for my wife's birthday. The staff was very nice and helpful and explained everything quick and concisely. We went at 12pm on a Sunday and there wasn't much of a wait for most rooms. We were definitely tired by the 75 minute mark as we didn't take many breaks. Definitely worth the price for the amount of fun you get.

We had a blast and when I lost my phone in one of the rooms the staff went above and beyond to help is find it. They even extended our time so that we didn't lose out on the time we spent looking for it! We'll definitely be back!
