THIS PLACE IS SO FUN!! I had a blast here with my friends, I loved the variety of games you could play, I couldn't try all of them, but the ones I did try were super fun! The one downside in my opinion is that it's pretty expensive, $25 per person for an hour and 15 minutes. If you're willing to pay the price though, it's great! 9/10 would recommend!

I wasn't entirely sure what to expect from the website. It turned out to be a hallway filled with different types of room. Each room type has a variety of games you can choose in cooperative or competitive modes using that rooms special features. So one room has a light up floor where you might have your group run to the right color squares (or fight to get to them first). It was very fun. I'd recommend bringing water and dressing to move and sweat!

Had a BLAST during the free sessions they did during October. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, operations ran very smoothly with plenty of staff and well maintained rooms. We enjoyed the laser, mega-grid, strike, and hoops rooms the most but all are fun. Plenty of game modes that you can't even play everything in 1-2 visits to keep visits fun and fresh for a while! I wish they had some kind of membership program because I feel like I've gone to the gym after every visit haha. Better than a workout!

First time at Activate - what a great concept. Book a reservation to block your time window. When you arrive you will have to create an account if you haven't been there before. The front desk staff will give you the rundown of how Activate works. From here you go back to the game room. There is a hallway with 12 or so different rooms off of it. I've been going to Activate twice a week, and it's been an incredible experience every time! The variety of rooms, ranging from intense arm and leg workouts to challenging logical puzzles, keeps things fresh and exciting. Highly recommend!! This place is for big kids (adults) and little kids. Very interactive and great for a work out. They have team and competitive challenges. We went to the location in Dallas and the one here in Cincy. I had so much fun! I felt it in my back and knees later from diving on the ground from the Laser and Hide & Seek. Definitely one of my favs. Reasonably priced for what you're doing.

My family of 5 had an absolute blast at Activate Games! All of the games combined physical activity with technology and we had to work together to advance levels. One really neat aspect of the rooms is that each one has different challenges that can be chosen and you can adjust the difficulty which was perfect for us being that our ages range from 6 up to 46. We had a great time visiting Activate Games. There are a good variety of games to entertain everyone in our group. They have complementary lockers to keep your belongings. The employees were super nice and helpful. We will definitely be returning.

Love Activate! I went during their Teacher Appreciation week with another teacher. I was pleasantly surprised at how many steps my Fitbit tracked while playing the variety of games offered. We had a great time. Staff was also very friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend!

Adults can have fun too! I was worried because i get motion sickness very easily, but that was not a problem. The manager, JB, was very kind and allowed us to tour The facility and to even test out one of the games. We had so much fun and it was like we had a workout! Our arms are so sore! The hour went by so quickly, and we all had fun and will return!

I called ahead to see if we could look at the games first because my kiddos and sister get motion sick very easily and I wasn't sure if it would work for them. The assistant manager JB was so helpful and friendly. She reassured me we could come in and try things out. She was the one working when we arrived. She was just so customer-focused. My daughter and her friends enjoyed a memorable 13th birthday celebration at Activate Games. While the children engaged in activities, my spouse and I participated in team-based games, finding the experience highly enjoyable and competitive. We plan to return for a future date night.

We stopped in on a whim while in Cincinnati over the weekend and I am so glad we did! Both of my kids (10 and 7) had a ton of fun as did I! The staff were all super pleasant and kind. We'll be back the next time we're in town!

Overall this place was great. Played the new game called Control. We also played Trivial Hoops. We hid from the eye making words! It was so fun until the end. Our time was up, but we had one more game according to the screens. We were gonna play Trivial Hoops for the last time until we went into the room and it started taking away the hearts without us shooting basketballs. Talked to employees, they said it was working again. We never knew if it actually got fixed.

First time here, it was fun. Definitely more fun if you bring a big group. Some of the games you get a nice workout out of it

We go twice a week and have a group of about 10 people that rotate in and out. Activate is great for all age ranges and skill levels. It's always a great team activity no matter who you are with. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and attentive. Will be going here for a long time

So fun, a good amount of bang for your buck. You get over an hour of time! There are many options of games to find which you like the most. Can play competitive or as a team with your group! Love the experience

We took 10 13 year old boys for my son's birthday. They all had a great time and they all wanted to do it again.

The Activate location in Cincinnati is a very fun place! It's clean, the staff are kind, the games are really fun, and the prizes are great! 10/10, I highly recommend this place.

The facility is clean and extremely well run. Super fun way to spend and hour and a half, wasn't too busy when we went and all the rooms were great.

Basically felt as if I was in that ?Glitch Tech? show on Netflix. All the games are unique, and once you run out of co-op games to play, you can go head-to-head against your friends in versus mode. They also reward you for coming, as you can get prizes like key chains, water bottles, shirts, hoodies, etc. from leveling up! I recommend the laser, hide, and grid/mega grid games. Best way to spend time being active well having hell of a good time.

Fun times! Easily can be a cardio workout if you're competitive enough. Great for a different gaming adventure with friends or family

So much fun! Family of 4, kids ages 11 and 9. We had a blast! Multiple rooms to rotate through with different games to choose from in each room. We all had our favorites and going during the week we had plenty of time to hit each room, a few a couple of times. Great activity to do with the family! Would also be fun as a date night, with friends, or a corporate event.

I have been to this location twice now and love it. The staff is friendly and going during the week day is the best time to get to try all the rooms you want to play as quickly as you want. My son even brought some friends for his birthday and we had a great time. If you have early to later teens and want to do something with your kids to connect, then do this! As a mom of a teenage boy, this is always my go to place when I want to spend time with him but he wants to do something he wants to do.

I was brought here by my partner for date night, had no idea what to expect, and we had the best time!! I've never been to anything like this. You can be as competitive and active as you like, we are not athletic or anywhere close to in shape but are competitive, and came out of there exhausted and loved every minute. Our favorite games were the Mega Grid, Hoops, and Strike. We're gonna take the kids and grandparents next. This was such a cool new experience, cannot recommend enough.

I absolutely loved all 75 minutes. Such a fun and unique concept, even for adults! Watch out for impatient and defensive kids parents? though. The laser games and portal games are SO fun. I can't wait to go back and hope to see more of these spaces are built.

Literally one of the best activities to do! I've been to the location in Lexington, so was thrilled to hear one in Cincinnati was opening. The Oakley location didn't disappoint. It was great to see some new games that Lexington didn't have that for a new experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The place was clean and the atmosphere was terrific! Really looking forward to going back soon!

Great workout. Would be great for team building, as maybe a work retreat or something. Definitely wear play clothes and maybe old tennis shoes, as you will be sweating and potentially getting a little dirty, but all of the games are very easy to pick up but as the levels go up they get harder to master. Worth the money and time.

Fantastic experience and very clean. All the staff were very friendly and ready to help with whatever was needed. We loved each of the games and ended up having a good workout especially thanks to Mega Grid? the only complaint we had would be a need for a better water fountain, possibly with cups to make it easier to not dehydrate! Really fun time! We went with a group of 5 and had a blast with the variety of games. Make sure to wear active clothes/tennis shoes, because you'll be running/jumping/crawling. There was a really cool variety of games, from avoiding the laser to jumping to the right colors to basketball games. And it wasn't hard to win a little prize at the end (water bottle, key chain, etc). Definitely will be back.

We went to Activate for our daughter?s 10th birthday- it was so much fun! All staff activated their kindness powers, and all games were very fun! When we got in a pickle, there was a kind person there to help! We are all looking forward to coming here again!

Our first time to the Cincinnati location... we had a great experience! It has some rooms that we had not been to before - that was fun. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Every time we finished a room, they would let us know which rooms did not have lined. I dont think this was the case at other locations we have been to. The only suggestion is to add paper cups at water fountains - other locations have them. overall, a wonderful experience. 10 out of 10! definitely coming back!

Went two times during the weekday (tuesday and wednesday) and both times were great experiences. The facility is new and is well put together, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the games were all so much fun. You really work up a sweat. They still have a few bugs to work out, but that's expected for a new business. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a fun activity!

We came for a double date and we had a blast! Definitely wear shorts or athletic clothing but my favorite part is you are only charged (time wise) for active game participation unlike other places that will tick your clock down while waiting in queue

Tons of fun playing short, but intense mini games. You can compete or work together in each game room. Seeing all the 3D printed equipment ticked my nerd itch. The lighting and vibe was really cool. I took my girlfriend on a date since it's near UC and we had a great time. The staff was super friendly too. My only suggested improvement is color blind options. The experience was absolutely amazing! Some games started to have problems with touch sensitivity so we would just move to another game. I would definitely recommend visiting Activate with close friends or family, it is so fun!

So excited that Activate is now in Cincinnati! The layout, rooms, and technology have some impressive upgrades from the original locations.

A super cool and VERY interactive way to bond with family- my tween boys worked *together* to complete the challenges. We were laughing! Yelling! Sweating! And having so much fun together. Definitely recommend trying it out!!!
