Activate Games

We had an amazing date night at Activate! It was super fun from start to finish ? a perfect mix of teamwork, energy, and laughter. Each game was creative and kept us moving, thinking, and competing (in the best way). Definitely a unique and exciting way to spend time together. We absolutely loved it and can't wait to go back!

So fun!!!! I highly recommend doing literally every room they're all fun in different ways. The staff are really nice and chill and they gave us extra time, no charge. Also shout out to Cass and this being the best Activate!

This was so much fun! We traveled from scranton, pa and would love a location up near us! (East Rutherford, NJ). Would absolutely head back again. The staff was lovely and helpful. 100% would get a monthly pass to do this every weekend if up near me.

This was an amazing experience. We never knew how much fun we would have. All the games we played were enjoyable. My favorite one was laser. It was tiring but extremely fun. Sam was extremely nice as he greeted and helped us. The lady who helped explain who to start the game was also very helpful. But apologies because I forgot her name. Overall great experience and would definitely come again

had so much fun here tonight! there are so many games you can choose from and is really such a great spot with a group of family and/or friends. there was a super sweet employee named Mike who helped us out throughout everything, even when we were clumsy and accidentally left our locker key in the locker. he was so sweet, welcoming, and funny and made the experience much more enjoyable/smoother. definitely recommend checking out this place if looking for something fun!

Despite the bustling crowd, you still get plenty of game time, making it well worth the visit. Abraham, who roams the floor assisting guests, was fantastic?his enthusiasm added to the experience. This is the perfect activity to enjoy with your kids! Unlike a traditional theme park, where you simply watch them from the sidelines, here you're fully engaged, making it a thrilling experience for both parents and children alike. Highly recommend!

This was the most fun and entertaining thing I have done in so long! The staff was amazing very helpful and informative! There was a gentleman working on the floor tall and every time we had questions he didn't seem bothered he was actually happy to help. The girls at the front desk checking in were also great no attitude just friendly and ready to help! The only thing I recommend is drink lots of water and be prepared to be active . This takes a lot of physical work in some rooms , also dress comfortably!

Sam was amazing! He was extremely helpful throughout out time there. He helped us understand how to use the screens, chatted with us about about the leader board, and helped us how to use the point system at the end. Our three boys (16, 17, and 17) had SO MUCH FUN! They took control of the rooms, while dad and I jumped, hung, ran, and threw balls. It's the most active fun we've had in a long time. It does feel a bit rushed, but I think that added to adrenaline rush. It was busy, but the lines moved quickly

Terrible experience make sure your not late! Came here in the beginning of a snowstorm got there 15 minutes late my friends said they would still let me in ran through the mall just for the guy to say no with a snarky attitude. Had to drive an hour back home in a snowstorm for no reason worst experience of my life.

This facility offers nine, vividly interactive rooms (Hoops, Control, Strike, Climb, Push, Grid, Hide, Mega Laser, and Mega Grid) with a variety of fun, active games. Before entering a room, your group has the option of working together or going against each other. If you're unsure about how a game works, the ?How to Play? button is your friend. In addition to this, playing level 1 of any game will give you audible instructions.

Great Place for kids & adults! We had such a fun time! Everything was clean, safe, and full of exciting things for the kids to do. There were lots of different activities that kept them entertained. A great place for families ? we'll definitely be coming back!

This was such a great family activity. It was great for all our ages ranging from 6-46. The staff were so friendly and incredibly helpful from start to finish. When we were struggling in one of the rooms and one of them came in to make sure we didn't waste our time in that game. The whole energy was positive and exciting. All of us loved it. We will be back again!

Jazmine is AMAZINGGGGGG. We lost our phone and she helped look for it in every single room for it until we found it. She's amazing. Joe and Steve were awesome. Their explanations were fantastic. All of the games were fun, but we did experience a glitch during laser diffuse. Other than that we had a great time!

Super fun place to be. Amazing games. However the biggest downside I would say is that waiting time is deducted from the total 45 mins wait time. I don't mind waiting for a game since it's a great experience in a game. However it should not be deducted. Additionally if you pass a level, you are allowed to move to the next level only and only if no one waiting. (Like because their time is also being deducted) If you allow someone to go to next level, and also not deduct time from something, I would say it

This place was actually cool and fun! There was a lot of people there but the games were 2 min long unless you passed the levels. I would deff come back with a bigger group of people. We went just the two of us and had a blast there's a lot of games at each section and there's multiple levels so play at your own time! We had a blast and will be coming back again!

Really amazing! Been there twice already and I would definitely go again however I'm giving four stars because I wish the time slots we're longer (45 minutes) and there was so many people there I think that they need to cap the reservation amount at a lower number so that your short time is not wasted waiting on lines.

My first time here and I had such a blast! There's literally 50 assorted games you can play and get a good work out in too. Employees Mike and Jasmine were so accommodating as I lost something in one of the game rooms and they immediately helped me retrieve it. I will definitely be coming back here !

This place was such a blast. There was a fire alarm that went off during our visit. The staff was excellent at keeping us up to date with the situation and got us in as soon as they could. I dealt with 4 team members and one was better than the next. Pro tip: Wear workout clothes. You're going to sweat.

THIS WAS A BLAST!!!! ?? If you're the kind of person who wants to exercise without FEELING like you're exercising, this is the PLACE! Lots of fun, teamwork building, and burning a crap-ton of calories all in one! Definitely worth it! Also, Jay at the front desk was AWESOME! This was so much fun and good way to get moving. I love the concept and also that most of the games didn't require you to pick up many objects. I noticed that the staff was frequently cleaning and disinfecting the rooms. I will definitely be back?this concept is ingenious!

Staff was inflexible and rude and literally could. not. be. bothered. Came here for our son?s birthday party and left with some disappointed kiddos because a) one kid arrived late and wasn't allowed to join the group so had to sit out (why?) and b) they couldn't get the silly keychains at the end that they earned with points. No adults in the room to make it right. Fun place! But we won't be returning?. And they won't care.

I went over to activate to enjoy some fun games with a group friends as previously, it has always been a wonderful experience. To my surprise, it was incredibly full, I couldn't even enjoy playing the games and eventually me and my friends left. For background, we booked a time to play. I don't know what happened or what changed, but they need to fix something because the over crowding is terrible.

Friendly staff. Lockers to store your stuff for no additional charge. Amazing time! Wear comfy clothes! Will recommend for girls night out and date night.

This review is specifically regarding customer service. The games were amazing and we had a great time. I called in advance because we were running a few minutes late. The employee explained that they had a strict 15 minute grace period, as long as we got there before 15 minutes, we were allowed in. We arrived 9 minutes late. The employee I spoke with on the phone said that we were 10 minutes late, and after 10 minutes we can no longer have the full time, instead we can have 30 of the 45 minutes. He said it

Really had a fantastic time here. You pay $25 for 45 minutes. There are 11 rooms, outside of which you scan your wristband. There are lockers where you can store belongings - be sure to bring water as midway you'll be sweating a lot and need water. I think they should have a water fountain on the premises. The variety of games is great. You don't have to be in excellent shape to do these games. I only had difficulty with the room that had lasers that you dodge as my eyesight isn't great. I like the Activate experience because you get a decent variety of game experiences, lots of movement to get the blood pumping (bring gym clothes), and a score board to help show progress. Something I wish they improved in with location is add a bathroom and/or a room you could change in. The Activate in Toronto has single person restrooms which are ideal for prepping yourself for your Activate experience. Even for the bathrooms in the mall, they didn't give very clear directions in my opinion.

Place is fun to go with friends, but unfortunately they rob your time as they count the time you're waiting outside of the rooms until people are done playing. For example, I went with friends for 45 minutes and we ended up playing for half the time because of how crowded it was. Last time I'll be coming here until they fix this issue. I think $33 for 20 minutes is way too much.

I came with some friends (we're all guys in our 30s) and had an absolutely great time! There are so many different and fun challenges to choose from. They do require you to be pretty active, so come dressed ready to run, jump, and SWEAT

Located in East Rutherford NJ, Activate games is a great way to enjoy a good time while getting in some cardio. The Laser Maze and the Asteroids throwing games were the most fun, but honestly you can't go wrong with any of the games they have. I highly recommend to anyone simply wanting to have a good time.

Have been waiting for a nearby Activate to open since we've seen the fun videos from Activate Canada. After our first visit, I just got to say that it did not disappoint! Super fun, lots of game choices and you will definitely work out a sweat! The employees were also very lovely and informative. Just want to shout out Asama for being super sweet! My husband and I made it to top 1 & 2! Will be back soon. ;)

God damn this place was amazing. Out of all my reviews this one is the one I mean the most. If you ever come to American dream this should be in your bucket list. The experience was amazing, the staff are great and coming here for a date, friends, family it's really something you'll remember. At $25 per person for 50 minutes it's a great price especially for this kind of experience! I'm definitely coming here again. P.S they have lockers that they provide at no extra cost.

Such a fun experience!! I def recommend going with at least 4 people because some of the games were better with more people. I also suggest wearing athleisure wear because you'll def be sweating. I'd def come back again!
