We had an absolute blast at Action City! This arcade and trampoline park is a paradise for family fun. We spent over five hours there, and every minute was packed with excitement and laughter. The laser tag was intense and thrilling, and the go-karts had us racing with big smiles on our faces. The variety of games and activities is incredible. From racing games and basketball to bowling and skeeball, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The atmosphere was electric, and the staff was friendly and help

Theres a ton of activities for kids over 40 inches. Those that are not tall enough leave really only the trampoline park and arcade area. The zip line was not available today due to wind having to be below 15 miles an hour for safety reasons. Outside go carts are a winner for any age but again there's height restrictions so if you have smaller kids I would not spend the money for this activity park.

Great place to take my kids 4, 6, and 8 years old. We've gone a couple times and they keep asking to go again and I'd rather go here with them than the Dell's even though it's a bout twice as far as a drive and not as big. Much more reasonable, clean, accommodating and that makes it easier to enjoy.

This place has a lot of fun activities and games. But, it's always packed with people. In the arcade it's often hard to get on the game you want, especially when it's two people wanting to get on the same racing or shooting game, whatever. Not to mention how Expensive it is! Some of the racing games (yes, they are very cool and the ?car? you sit in actually moves around) are $5/per person. Per play. That's a little pricey in my book. You'll go through $50 in an hour easy with just 2 people. I can't speak to

We went there Saturday June 14th and the 2 girls had a blast playing in the trampoline park for like 7hrs and my son enjoyed the arcade, we played laser tag, go carts and a ton of other games even mini bowling. he was so excited when he won a x-box out of the big cut the rope game! A little on the pricy side but still worth it if you take the time to enjoy everything they have to offer.

kids had fun with all the machines and trampoline area but we were put off by hearing some conversation between an older gentleman with a walker who seemed to be a ceo or owner (he came out of an office and was walking around with managers) and some of the workers. he made some disparaging/rude remarks that we overheard and noticed a worker looking dejected and on the verge of tears afterwards, and that just isn't right. i understand you want to make money but we'll be taking our family elsewhere from now o

Popular destination for kids, sensory overload for adults. The sixth and seventh graders that I was with has a great time. Fortunately, I brought my ear plugs. I can't speak for the cost as I was with a school field trip, but it seemed as expensive as this kind of place usually is. The pizza we had was better than expected. Bathrooms were clean considering the volume of people there today. Workers friendly.

Go here every Thursday with the family to get out of the house and have a little fun. The kids love trampoline side of the facility and the games are pretty fun. It would be nice if there was a little more of a selection on arcade games. Overall fun place. Looking forward to the warmer months and doing the outdoor activities.

Really expensive they raised all prices and no longer do 2 hr increments. The fact you have to pay for all day is crazy. With a family of 6 be prepared to spend 350$ for an afternoon. We rented a room and did all the activities. It was fun but we could have went to Florida for just a little bit more money. They even charge you for the socks you're required to use. Wisconsin dells is comparable price with much more to do.

We had our sons birthday party I planned on it being packed and that really wasn't much of an issue. First my son got hurt on the go carts, then I was reprimanded for getting off the track to be with my son. There was a grown woman and a group of teenagers who were slamming into people. One of the teenagers slammed into my son and he hit the wall hard hit his knee on the go cart and my boyfriend who wasn't riding was able to go out and walk him off. I of course grabbed my other child and immediately went in

Weve come here 3 times in the past month. The first 2 times they had the hour past. This last time they took it away. We will not be returning unless they bring back the hourly passes. Being forced to pay $70 for 2 adults and a toddler is outrageous. Toddlers don't jump very long, we're obviously not going to be there all day!

Took the grandkids there one morning at 9am. Perfect time! Not busy, no crowds. The kids ran around until they couldn't run around anymore! Played games, ate snacks, and laughed! So fun.

The children had a great time, they updated their games and if you have a monthly pass there are not a lot of games that are blue flashing. Overall good time with my children

When we all get together to have fun action city n kids Kaos is our place to cut loose to enough with that if u don't have fun here u won't anywhere period lol... So come on I dare ya to see for yourself!!!!

A very good place suitable for people of all ages, especially children, they can play there all day long

Don't purchase the unlimited day pass. 90% of the arcade games require a card with actual money on it. Not the points that come with the pass. So pretty much wasted money. The go carts was the only thing my daughter was interested in doing. That or laser tag.. But otherwise there were only a couple arcade games that would except the pass and they were BORRRINNGGGG. The trampoline park was small and not much for smaller kids to do. They need to upgrade and add more options for smaller kids. Including in the

Wow what a fun place, a little sad that not every game machine is not working. The go carts were a blast and the bumper cars was a small area, and not all the cars were working. If you put money on a card you get points towards something from the gift shop. I wish there was a deal for going on the weekday

Food is way overpriced. But otherwise the kids love it and have a blast!

Great place to bring the family. Lots of great thing to do. Great customer service. Lots of games and an 19 hole mini golf.

Epic! Restaurant lol (Pub)with full bar, excellent ?? park for the whole family.... Lazy River ?? pool 3-9" two water slides (dark slide was fun did this too many times) bball ?? hoop in the pool ..CABANAS! Hot tub...BEER.... FRUITY DRINKS... They have it all in one place! We walked around all weekend in water shoes! No need to leave the building... Trampoline area??!! just look at the pics....game area #EPIC'CENTER each room has a different color scheme platinum room has TWO PERSON HOT TUB..... ??

Very fun place to play! Great prices! Highly recommend getting the passes! Extremely worth the vaule!

Great hotel and Waterpark with tons to do for the kids! We loved our stay!

Lots of things to do for all ages, even adults. Priced fairly for value of stuff to do.

Always a blast...today we just ate a little bit and then did 2 go carts races....... after swimming for most of the day

I went there on my birthday it was different experience. My son really liked it, he wanna go again.

W place, kinda expensive but still fun. Go karts mega fast, a lot faster than other go karts I've tried. Outdoor go karts are usually never open but the zip line usually is being run if you just hit the button and call a worker over. Trampoline park is pretty fun as well. I would just recommend getting the 3 hour jump and play.

We had a birthday party planned for our son here for weeks with high hopes for fun. We arrived to a very busy place which looked like a lot of fun. The staff seemed as if we cought them off guard even though we had arrived a tad bit late. Most staff was quiet and didn't have much in the way of direction. We followed our "host" to the party room. We had some questions about our ability to add things to our tab that remained unanswered. The room was clean and ready for us. I thought she will have more

Such a fun place. My kids had an absolute blast!

Overall experience was great, Go-Karts were a blast, the mini golf ?? course could use a little tlc/upkeep, was still fun to play tho! The smiley face ramp on hole #2 didn't work... The arcade racing games were also a blast.... never been on one with a seat that moves... that was a unique experience ??

Review from a 14-year-old boy: The trampoline park is good and the courses & dodgeball are fun. Arcade is pretty fun, the free games are good and there are paid games as well. Pizza is good. Mini golf is a nice short course and go carts & bumper cars are also fun. $50 on the Action City Card lasts a couple of hours. Review from parent: nice variety of things to keep kids entertained. Jump Park is a separate cost from the arcade. Things can become a bit pricey but it makes for a fun afternoon getaway. Plent

We came here with our church group on a chorus tour as we were looking for a place to spend a few hours and eat lunch? I called in and talked with the event coordinator and she gave me the group rates, what that all includes and asked if we want to add the pizza buffet for $7 a person. We did do that and were thoroughly impressed with the pizza. Was very good. They also gave us an event room (included in the group rate) so we could she. Our own area to group/regroup and eat lunch. Everyone was very helpful

We had way too much fun at action city. Love the arcade and the trampoline park. The VR, Laser Tag, and Go Carts were our favorite!

It's a good time. The card for games, though, was kind of dumb. After the time expires, you can play games that aren't all that fun... . but all in all , the kids loved it. So I'm happy! Will be going back!

My kids had so much fun going to the Waterpark, jump park and go karts.

Most of the employees are young and so good with all of the kids. They add more fun by interacting with the customers. We come through Eau Claire a couple times a year and always make this place one of our stops. Our boys love it! So much to do!

HORRIBLE experience, this is my second time coming here and I went on the go carts one time with my family, well my husband was driving my 5 year old son in the cart in front of me and these kids were slamming into people left and right. The person working there said ?no bumping? yet it continued to happen over and over!!! They slammed into my husband (who had my son) and myself and I stayed behind my husband trying to avoid these kids from hurting my child and they slammed into my cart so hard my eyes went

This place has changed a lot over the years. There used to be bumper cars, climbing wall, batting cages? A lot of that is gone in favor of a larger arcade, with fewer and fewer games that are included in free play. The zip line addition is cool, even if it's underwhelming. I'd rather whack balls to be honest For the first time in 20 years, someone told me that I'm not allowed to have alcohol outside of the bar area, and that is just wack. In 2024 everyone is my nanny, I guess I don't think I will be comi

I was there with my 2 daughters and they were having a great time in the indoor play structure. They also loved where you can jump into an airbag. Their food was pretty good for the price. But we ended up leaving before our 3 hours because of the worker Dom who was working at the front who yelled at my kids unnecessarily loud for touching the top of the trampoline which scared them and made them cry so I have to give 2 stars

My children and their friends, grandchildren and their friends, love visiting this place. Definitely can make time and money fly.

Be ready to be worn out. This place has so much to do to keep you busy. Cost about $35 a person to do a large portion of the activities that they have. The trampoline park is a blast and if you have little ones this is one way to wear them out. Go karts are plenty peppy and make it a whole lot of fun. Lots of arcade games and many more things to do to stay entertained.

Labor Day! Had a blast! Our family's first time in the building, we loved it, staff was aware of all areas and made sure safety was followed. Some kids obviously spend more time there than others but all was fun, Arcade could be a little different.

Spendy but good place to get kids out on a rainy or winter day. Busy too. Do the waivers ahead save time online

Cool place. Little more expensive than it needs to be I think. Food is way overpriced. Have to pay for all the extra kids they employ to stand around. Other than that good place for kids to burn off energy !

We planned to go to Action City as a boys trip a week ago, (5 of us), and we drove an hour just to get turned away due to the waiver we didn't know about, we found out it was supposedly a new rule, we were all 17 and not all of us could contact our parents, they were either busy or just couldn't get a hold of them, we were very bummed that we couldn't get in just because we were too young. We wished the age limit could?ve been at least 16 to get in by yourself. We had to go find something else to do with ou

Love going with the kids! Go carts, Zipline, escape room, laser tag, and of course jumping are our highlights. The staff was friendly, able to handle misbehaving kid, and good with the kids in general. Worth the price

Pretty disappointed. Half of the arcade machines dont work properly (bowling doesnt count pins correctly, walking dead game wont reload, buck hunt game doesnt register half of the screen, mini golf is poorly maintained and falling apart, pitching game doesnt register properly). The play pass doesnt let you play a lot of games you should be able to like basketball and minecraft dungeons. Overall a big waste of money.

We went 6 months ago and got a late night pass and had a total 5 star blast, so we tried to go back tonight, but now they're requiring a 4 page waiver for everything, which is apparently way too much personal information for my husband to give out, so we're going somewhere else. I think it is ridiculous that we have to fill out a waiver to play video games and laser tag... Unfortunately we probably won't come back.

A little steep with the prices but I guess that's to be expected since it's the only thing for kids to do in eau Claire . The kids had fun so I guess all in all a good day .

It's a decent place to take your kids. They've dialed it back on the arcade games since they introduced the trampoline park. The gift shop is smaller as well, mainly just candy and merch. To get the best bang for your buck, pre order the jump and play bundle on their website. All in all, I can't complain about only costing $50 for my son and I to spend 5 hours there. He enjoys the trampolines and I enjoy the go carts, mini golf, bumper cars, laser tag and zip line. I would've given it five stars but there i

The online hours are wrong, which is unfortunate as they will still sell you play time after they close with no heads up. I enjoyed my time for the most part but the staff were all very rude and seem to have something better to do. Many machines are broken and it is not well managed.

Staff were amazing, we were travelling and our rental car broke down and would not start when we finished in Action City. The staff were so helpful. The facilities themselves were great, the trampoline Park was clean and in great condition, our son loved it. The go karts with the twin seats were a huge hit also. I would definitely recommend.

It's a great place for the kids and I enjoy it as well

Great place, so many things to do and such a clean faculty. Batting cages, go carts, laser tag, trampoline park, climbing wall, arcade, and food buffets are all on the list of do for this place. Staff is generally a great group of workers who know how to do their job and let other people have fun.

The go-karts have always been the favourite. And good place to have fun for a few hours. However, the place is showing it's age. Several games out of order. Go-karts didn't have any timing when last there, so no time comparison with your friends. The place was pretty dirty as well.

Fun activity park for families. The go karts are so much fun. The lines can get long at the karts, but it's worth it!! Some of the games do not work when you swip the game card but still deduct the $$ from the card. The food options in the park are good. The pizza was better than average. Clean facilities.

The manager Samantha is doing an amazing job with action city. The bathrooms were clean each time my family used them, Riley who worked the outside go carts was amazing made sure no one bumped and everyone had fun. Erin and Brooklyn desk staff was extremely pleasant, my only issue would be the inside go carts only have 6 cars on track at a time will make it less bumping. But overall this place is amazing and ran very well

If you have little ones with lots of energy to burn, this is THE place to be! My grandkids are both 8 and 6 (and the newborn). They love this place! There's so much for the kids to do. You got the trampoline park, indoor go carts, Ninja Warrior obstacle course, arcade, and video games, food, and ice cream! Enough to keep the kids busy for hours of fun! The place is always very clean. The staff do an outstanding job keeping rowdy kids in check to ensure everyone has a safe and fun experience. I highly recom

Jackson was an amazing host for my daughter?s birthday party at Action City! He was incredibly helpful, understanding, and attentive to our needs throughout the entire party. His great attitude and sense of humor made the party even more enjoyable for everyone involved. Jackson did an excellent job keeping 10 seven to ten-year-old girls entertained and engaged throughout the party. I highly recommend Jackson as a party host. Thank you, Jackson, for making my daughter?s birthday party such a memorable one!

This is a pretty fun place to go. We got a 2 hr jump pass and around an hour you get worn out if this isn't something you do regularly. I can't speak for the play side but heard there is laser tag and some other fun sounding things. The price is the difficult part. It is expensive and they require certain socks that are also expensive. Make sure you keep the socks after your visit so you don't have to buy them again next time.

Other than them forgetting to give us our play passes until an hour had passed and we had to ask them for them.....for a reserved birthday party.....it wasn't all bad.

Only reason I give it two start is because it is a fun place to take kids. But come on $40 for 3 hours, I can take my kid to valley fair ALL DAY for $40. There is a point where fun vs. price just doesn't add up. Looks like this is a place for the "haves"

Very good play area for kids, kids loved it

I think it's a great place for children's parties, but the two-hour rental seems a little short. It should be at least three hours. It's a pity that I rushed out like I was being chased.

Great place for the kiddos. Toddler days are best. The games and all trampoline areas are all in excellent condition. Staff is super polite and helpful.

Whole experience was fun, lots of people but pop a xanax and you'll enjoy every minute.

Great fun for the family! It's just very pricey. If you have a family that's going to go a lot an annual pass that can be paid yearly or monthly would make more sense. Otherwise go on a Wednesday because it's about half the price. It's wristband day. They do have very reasonably priced parties for birthdays, boy scouts, ect.

Fun times with the kiddos! We come here often and will continue too! Would highly recommend if you are in the area with kids!

Great place to take the kids and let them blow off some energy!

Kids loved it very friendly staff

This is a great place for adults and children. Lots of games and bumper cars n go carts.

My daughter and her friends had her 13th birthday party there and everyone there had a ton of fun. And it's hard to get a dozen 13 year old girls to like anything.

Not to sure why it's expensive, not exciting. All of the group games smell like feet and homeless people, drive to the Dells, better experience plus you expect to pay those prices... Stay clear of the bar root beer. It's on draft, but it is over 5$ for 12 oz... same with bottle coke drinks.

Daughter always has fun here. We love the games, and mini golf. She loves FlappyBird, got a collection of Pokemon animals from this game.

The girls working the front counter were very nice and professional but the place is kind of boring. Lot of games in the arcade were dirty and not working. It honestly doesn't smell the best and a lot of the games are overpriced. Service is what got them a 3 star instead of 2

Homeschooling families get the advantage of going on a weekday and no crowds, family had a great time, jumping, arcades, mini bowling, go carts.

Was just here and had to wait for an hour to take my daughter for a ride on the go carts due to the fact of only having 3 double carts. My question is why can you have all of these single carts bit only 3 doubles? It's suppose to be a family place with little kids not just for older kids who can drove by themselves. Get rid of some of the single carts and invest in some more double carts so more families can enjoy it

One of the best local areas for kids and the entire family! The go karts are the best option for all kids, along the arcade. The games are fun along with the other options. The prices are reasonable for the hours you get and the real option in the Chippewa Valley. I would recommend the mini golf as well and the jumping area. Food options are limited but they do pizza and DQ within the building.

In no way am I cheap or broke. $200 for 3 hours PLUS all the arcade games ect is ridiculous. To drop $350 in 3 hours is wild. Go cart employee was extremely slow and was catering to his friends. It was my son's birthday and we stood in line TWICE 30 min each time and finally gave up because of Teenagers cutting in the line and so on. I would NOT recommend

Super fun! Great birthday party or family gathering.

Don't recommend way to expensive this time there charging $5 dollars just to watch you kid play wisconsin dells is way better even valley fair is better than this wisconsin has 4 bracelets for water an roller coaster combine plus a nite to stay in there hotels an the next they when you check out you can still use the bracelet for the hole day can't beat that.

Went here on a trip, it was awesome, I think honestly the biggest problem with this place is finding something to NOT do. From GO Karts to trampolines to water parks, this place has got it all. Your gonna have to spend a pretty good amount of money however, as this place can get pricey. Loved the pizza, it was extremely tasty ??. I would 100% come again if I had the time and money!

This places increase by the year just as their attractions go down by the year. The unlimited play pass is about half of what it was 5 years ago especially during the winter. Worthdoing once a year still but kids get bored even before the 3-5 hour time is up.

We had an enjoyable time the last weekend here. The only downfall was that there was one cashier working the main check in with a trainee and they had an issue and it turned in to three people. We had to wait probably 10 minutes just to get passes as they all just stayed together on one register. It would have been great if that third person would have opened another one to get us through but she just stayed helping the others. All in all it was a good experience and the food and drinks were great along wit

I take about 15 to 20 kids here multiple times a year!! We all have fun. I would recommend starting group and team challenges with a large group. They have fun and the chaperones have fun making the experience a great one every time.

As always a fun place. Many many memories here. The arcade is awesome. The pizza not bad. The hotel while not the Dells still holds its own. Clean. Good staff. Definitely family friendly. The arcade, mini golf, and go carts both inside and outside make this a perfect place for a date night or spot to go to be a kid again. The two restuarants nearby are both incredible as we I have eaten there many time at both. A must go...

I have been here many times in the past month, and I must say that if it were bad I wouldn't drive an hour and a half to get there. The only thing that is any concern is the price just keeps going up, it's like the gas prices since Sniffy Joe stepped in. But regardless of the price it is well worth the money and the drive to have a good time here. The staff is friendly and takes pride in their work, I personally think it leaves an impact on a customer when they can tell that an employee actually wants to

Awesome place! It's very clean, staff is very friendly and very good with people of all abilities. My kids love it!!

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
