Definitely recommend!!!! We went on 05/26 for my son?s birthday and it was absolutely awesome! They have so many games, drinks were good and nicely priced, pool tables and great music. This was our first time going and won't be our last! All the workers were so nice and laid back, it made our family feel very much welcomed.

My hubby and I came here for the first time a few days ago and we loved it! The staff members were very nice and helpful, and there were so many games to play. We couldn't pass up the $15 VIP pass deal which included the unlimited games and 2 drinks each (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). We can't wait to return and we have already been telling so many of our friends about this place! Love having awesome indoor entertainment so close to where we live :)

I just had my son's 13th birthday here and it was super great! Everyone from the children to the adults had so much fun. They have the old school games and new games as well. I 100% recommend, not only for parties but even just to come hang out.

Good times had here. Brought family and friends with. Staff was cool. Laid back atmosphere, family oriented. Thank you we will be back for sure.

I had drove by for 2 years wanting check it out. Finally did. Not bad if you play pool or are into video games. I'm old school, so pinball and pool are what interests me. I went on Friday night and plenty of people there, especially playing pool. I was fairly disappointed that only 3 pinball machines were somewhat working, so I will probably not be returning unless to play some pool. Don't rely on my opinion, as there is much more to do, but none of interested me. Definitely pay the extra for VIP, it is on

My wife & I enjoyed the AK.A arcade. This was our 1st visit but nit the last. Price can't be beat. A good mixture of new arcade games & many of our favorite retro classic games, like Centipede, Galaga Super Mario Bros. Nice pool tables. You pay a small meager basic price & all games are free. Great bargain.

Wonderful place to enjoy some game or down time! Lots of classics and newer games, or simply play pool. Live music some nights. Well worth the trip. Very small entry fee, but cannot say enough how fun it was.

Had an incredible time at AKA! The atmosphere was vibrant, the game selection was top-notch, and everything was well-organized. From classic arcades to VR, there's something for everyone. Great staff, clean space, and a perfect spot for gaming fun. Highly recommend! ??????????

Everyone was super friendly and there were so many games to choose from. it was also nice to grab an adult beverage and relax while my kids played. It's a parent win and a kid win! We might look into getting a membership!

It's ok for the price. All games are included in the $10 per person entrance fee. Pool and darts and well. Some areas definitely seem a bit old and but that's sort of the vibe of the place ig. Plenty of parking. My only complaint is with the bar. First of all there's only 1 lady at the bar. She took super long to make people's drinks. The worst part is I was standing there waiting for service and she never acknowledged me. In fact she took peoples order who she clearly saw get there after me without hesitat

Fun place to hang out, very kid friendly in the evenings. Good drinks good food selection most of all, it's not loud that you can't have a conversation with person next to you.

I wanna love this place because they have a lot of old school games that you don't normally see and you absolutely can not beat only paying an entry fee to have unlimited access to the games. The issue is a lot of the arcade games are very run down and either don't play right or are out of service. For the super old games it's totally understandable overall though the experience was just ok. Solid 3.7 stars (being able to play Alien Resurrection again was awesome). To play pool or the console based games se

All and all it was fun. They seem to have had quite a bit of games down at the time I went but honestly for price I think it's still a good deal. The prices on the drinks are nice and the service was great. I could easily recommend trying this place.

Look, this place may seem a little seedy, but it's honestly a great time. Lots of good games. I've had a blast every time. Go here! I promise if you like games you'll love it!

This place is awesome ??!!! Wish we'd come by sooner, but it's got karaoke, a full bar, $10 all you can arcade and video games, board games, pool tables, foozball, air hockey and lots more!!! We'll be back!!! ??

A hidden gem! This arcade has all your late 90s early 2000s games. So much nostalgia while walking in. If you're looking for something to do for cheap rather it's with your kids, spouse, etc. this is the place to come to. Tons of games ranging from the classics such as pac man, mortal kombat, serval pin ball games, wii, ps4, ps5, xbox, pool table, ice hockey and so much more you name it they have it. I had a great time here and will definitely be back.

Awesome place to chill with the kids. My son loves all the arcade and PS 2, 3, 4 ,5, etc... game systems they have setup. Good pool tables and awesome collectibles for sale as well!

My family and I had been looking for a family friendly place to spend time together and we all actually have a good time. It took me awhile to check this place out. But all it took was 1 time and we were HOOKED! Now, we go at least once each week. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and dedicated. They are always adding new things, new drinks, have various specials, events like karaoke, stand up comedians, NYE party, pics with Santa, pool, darts, and various gaming tournaments, vendors, etc. The pri

Opened in midsummer 2023, A.K.A Arcade & Bar brings back the ?entertainment center? experience we came to love in the early 2000s! Very welcoming and charismatic owners, gigantic venue with a wide game selection, and a full bar experience! Their game selection includes: - multiple pinball machines - authentic fighting game cabinets - shooting games - sports games - console kiosks - billiards tables & physical sports games (like ski ball!)

My wife and I stopped by....it was quite hard to leave...staff was great, and the vintage games brought out the teenager in both of us. The owner seemed genuinely obsessed with his mission to provide the experience!

Went there last night with my son and mom. We had the most fun! The price was definitely right. The service was actually GREAT. Lately it's hard to find even decent customer service. The dj was jammin. They had pool, darts, arcades, and every console you can imagine. Even atari. Also the food was very reasonably priced. I'm not the most tech savvy person and my son is 6 so I needed assistance finding and downloading on the Xbox and they were quick to come help get us set up so we could maximize our fun tim

Good prices, fun environment and lots to do if you're into old pinball, arcade and video games. They also have newer consoles, darts, pool tables, food and a full bar. This has become a spot to go to when my wife and I want to have some fun and have a few drinks.

love the place always a great time and a great place to go with a couple friends

This place is a great little hang out with plenty of things to do and is a very friendly/mellow environment. The bartender here is also excellent at making smooth drinks and is very friendly. Overall I would definitely recommend this place for a night out with your friends or just when your looking for something fun to do.

As for me it was really fun like really fun the games were fun and l really liked they put out of order signs because a lot of them don't put them up and it was fun if l could give more than 5 stars l would put Like 100 stars bc how good it was

Y?all need to fix the website, don't advertise for half off and not honor it saying it's old, also almost an hour for a pizza was outrageous, and not to mention all the games with only one working controller. This place has gotten worse in the time of one year With half of the games not working and the staff not caring about the place at all. Never coming back or suggesting anyone else go to.

Loved the place! My kids can't wait to return. $15 ALL DAY PASS AND YOU CAN COME AND GO throughout the day. Met the owners and they are very nice and friendly people!

Was an awesome place to throw a basketball party and a great place to bring the kids for springbreak. It was amazing how inexpensive it was to have a great time.

Good workers, good drinks, pretty cheap for an arcade that has all different types of games (arcade games, board/card games, online games, video games, pool, darts, etc) and has cozy vibes

It is always loads of fun. Great games vintage and NEW games, pool, music, prizes, food. Come out and be a part of the fun.

I'll write the pros first because it wasn't a horrible experience as far as the place itself and just going for a day and paying regular price is okay but I WOULD NOT recommend booking a party for soooo many reasons! Check out cidercade downtown instead, I wish I would have know about them sooner! Pretty decent prices , almost everything is free play with a variety of games including a wall of pinball machines and even old school atari and genesis consoles next to Xbox and Playstations, Even board games!

What a blast! Defender, Scramble, Donkey Kong, Space Invaders, Frogger, Centipede, Galaga, Super Breakout, Asteroids, and maybe best of all: HANG ON! Friendly proprietors, good value, clean fun. Great place to have a group outing.

Super chill. Great for both families and adults. Lots of games to choose from.

I love spending time with friends and family at this place. They have a great games awesome karaoke and great food. They have the best chicken nuggets.

Great spot! Awesome drinks! You don't have to be 21 to play at the arcade (lol like duh) some of the games don't work - but it lowkey adds to the aesthetic. We went on barbie/ken night and got goodybags for wearing pink!

Some of the games did not work or some of the games are on but didn't properly work but there's so many games. Overall, it is still a very fun atmosphere for the family

Get a bang for your Buck $10 person in you get all day access to video games darts pool table in more plus for $15 you get same access except you 2 free drinks and they serve people if your gamer or weeb you'll love it here as well

If you've gone here you know why its 5 stars if you havnt you should go

The place is always amazing, great staff! They really go out of your way to bring you joy. I have been there twice and it is literally a vacation in a local spot. A great get away to escape from the crazy world. 10/10 suggested places from me!!!!

This place is amazing! Board games, tabletop competitions, ALL the consoles, arcade games, pool, darts, a bar, and the food! Only $20 bucks for almost all the games and 2 drinks. The entire staff were so friendly, like they were mom and pop. Plenty of parking. The atmosphere was absolutely 80's vibe, loved it. Highly recommend! Young and old will have fun here.

Great little place to spend a few hours! They have all kinds of retro arcade games, newer age games, pinball, basketball, skee ball, air hockey, pool tables, darts, TV video games, and even board games! They have something for everyone! The price of admission is cheap considering you get unlimited play! The staff and owners are super nice and welcoming. We also grabbed some food there. We ate the cheese burgers, fries, and the Philly cheese steak egg rolls. Hands down, the burgers were great. The reason I o

Family friendly. Great selection at the bar. All the old school to new school games you'd want to play. Pool tables. Darts. Board games. Food. Like a D and B but smaller.

A.K.A Arcade & Bar is a five-star gem with a huge variety of arcade games, darts, and pool that provide endless entertainment. The atmosphere is vibrant and fun, making it a perfect spot for a night out with friends. The full bar serves up great drinks, though it can sometimes feel a bit understaffed given the crowd size. Despite this, the staff remains friendly and efficient, ensuring everyone has a great time. A.K.A Arcade & Bar is an outstanding destination for anyone looking to enjoy classic arcade fun

Took my son & neice there few games of pool and had a nice evening.

Awesome value and experience, please patronize this business, it is a gem.

This place was really fun! My friend and I sang karaoke here! Also really like that with the vip pass you get 2 beer tickets. And definitely give their signature mixed drinks a try! Really good. Food was good, and surprisingly filling! Already have plans to go back again next week :)

A wonderful place to hang out with friends. Always love coming here.

I joined my friends here and the second I stepped in and saw the games, it was immediately nostalgic in the best way! There's pool, ski ball, air hockey, arcade games that take you back and so much more. All you do is pay a low entree fee at the door and you can play anything! The food is really good, especially the wings! The owners are awesome and attentive too!! I have fun every time I come here, it's definitely worth it!

10/10 in friendly service, delicious food, inviting hospitality, entertainment, and engaging ways to keep my family and I coming back every week! We invested in the membership pass and totally worth it. Omg and the drinks at the bar are *Chef's kiss* I always recommend this place to everyone. Even planning my bday in June here. Love it. Fave arcade!!!!

My first time going last night and I had a blast!! I definitely recommend this place and I will be coming back!

Took my daughters, my grandson and granddaughter. Entry fee of 15.00 gets unlimited play on every game and 2 drinks. They have every kind of game you can think of-pool, Atari, Xbox, Play Station, air hockey, Pac man, pinball and an area to play board games with the games. They have a bar for grown up beverages and a snack bar. We had a great time. Will certainly be going back.

Incredible staff awesome games and great GREAT prices !!!! Found our hangout spot !

My family and I stopped by tonight, and we had so much fun! Not only is it $5 to play games on Mondays, but the kids had such a good time. They want to come every Monday now! I hope this place is around for a long time. When I was a kid growing up out here, I would have loved to have this place.

Finally a barcade on our side of town! Darts, pool, retro console games, arcades, tournaments and entertainment for the night. I haven't drank the few times I went, but from what I've seen and heard, the drinks are good! Some games need maintenance and are sometimes not working, but the staff is always on top of it. As a DDR player, I wish the setup was a little bit better (the play mats are a little off) and in a place we could hear the music when they have karaoke on Friday.

We visited last night and had a blast! Blast from the past! I loved the games and the family that runs it are extremely kind. I highly recommend this gem. It's great for kids of all ages and adults. We will definitely be back.

awesome place, great owners , great games and large variety.

This place is GREAT!! and the people that work here are awesome. Very friendly people that are also just there to have a great time bcs that what you get with going. A place to hang out for all ages. Definitely a place i?m going to keep going to with the hopes that doesn't go anywhere.

I have to say, as a new customer I was treated with respect and welcoming energy. This place does it right! Everyone who worked here was very engaging and does their most to make sure your time and money are spent well. Please give this place a look if you and your family are looking for fun times!

Great place for all ages. Family atmosphere, cool vibes with all types of games, both old school and new. They also have great drink selection and food. I highly recommend checking it out.

I was conflicted about putting 3 or 4 stars for this place. Since it just opened and the staff was nice so i went with a 4. My wife and i were there last week to check it out for a birthday venue. It's an awesome concept, but a lot of the games were not working properly or not at all. There was also a lot AC drip in the middle of the game room. The staff was nice and attentive though. I hope y'all fix your games and AC issue. Would love to come again once the issues are fixed. I also hope y'all will hold to

It was ok kinda of pricey to get in for some of the games, not to work. The guy there when we came in was not very nice. Also, I told him that I had lost my DL, but I had it on my cell phone wallet, and he wouldn't accept it. I always use my DL off my cell phone wallet with no issues. All in all, my boy enjoyed it.

The first time I went to this place I had an awesome experience and really felt like I found a hidden gem. They hadn't been open long and I liked how new things were being added. Went back today and unfortunately was disappointed to say the least. First arcade game I tried the down direction had problems on the joystick. Went to play Frogger, joystick also malfunctioning. Funhouse, one of my favorite pinball games, was missing the pinball, the machine next to it, Demolition Man, had a broken DMD display an

It's a great fun little place. It's a work in progress. Owner seems really set on improving it over time and adding on. Lots of real arcades, lots of multi-game arcades. Multiple pool tables. Some machines a little buggy/needing some tweaking, but overall a lot of games and console games as well. Food is pretty simple and good. Bar area as well. It's more of a family place to enjoy for a few hours and overall just a nice vibe. Kenny was fun to talk to looking forward to the improvements. Looking forward to

Absolutely love A.K.A. I first visited when they first opened up and they were good. Visited again now that it's been awhile and now they are even better! They have tons of arcade games. They have classic video game systems like Atari and Gensis that speak to my childhood. But they also have Xbox and Ps5's. They have pool, air hockey, and darts! Absolutely great, especially for the price. So much fun that I'm considering getting the membership. I definitely recommend. I used to go to Cidercade in Houston bu

The best and one of the only adult/kid arcade, food, and bar places in Pasadena! (Similar to Cidercade )Good prices and awesome equipment for gamers of all calibers! They also have board games, Hockey tables, Pool table and a decent menu to pick from. Would recommend!!

Went today for the first time, place it's pretty good ngl, wide selection of games, new as well as old games. I got the 15 dollar vip, and it's pretty good since it gives you 2 drinks for free. Definitely would go again.

I dropped my son and his bestie off there, and they had a blast!!!!! Totally recommend this place to ppl who have kids who love video games! The price wasn't high at all to get in, and it was way worth it all the way around. We will be back for surrrreeee

I took my kid and went during the day. I purchased $20 passes for the day. They have pool tables, air hockey, electronic dart boards and darts you can use. Tons of arcades, pinball machines and basically every video game console you can think of (including retro consoles). It is a very neat little place and if you compare it to other game/entertainment places, it has WAY better value. You will spend a lot more than $20 to play all these games at other places. I would imagine that going with adults and getti

This is everything a local arcade should be, cheap entrance fee, all game and activities are free, friendly staff delicious drinks, modern and classic game machines and consoles, pool, darts, comedy stand up shows, boardgames, etc etc!. Most mixed drinks are priced over 10$ witch is a bit much, and a few of their machines are faulty. Despite some flaws I think this is gonna be the new SPOT in Pasadena, I can't wait to go back!

Although some of the games were knocked out because of the storm we had a great date night we stayed until closing the staff was super friendly and all the games are free for a flat fee and you get drinks with the vip which is like 20 bucks with tax I literally had to step away from the display cases because I was about to leave broke because I was about to buy collectables they have all the old school arcade games and they have karaoke on Fridays best believe we will be returning they have pool tables, vi

I absolutely loved the game selections! I wish I had more time to be there! $10 per person wasn't bad! Pinball, pool, and drinks (of course they aren't included in that price)! Yes please! I wanna have a party there!

The place is not to bad. They have all the latest consoles. Just have to ask for controllers and what not. Most arcades and pinballs are down... I also don't consider immulator or modded cabs to be that great. If you're in Pasadena maybe check it out. But TBH Houston area has much better arcades that are more affordable.

It's a decent place, but a large portions of the machines where down or didn't work very well. The pool tables and air hockey was enjoyable however.

Took my Grandson, he loves it.Will be back again

Friendly staff. Good prices. Fun laid back atmosphere to bring your family for games, food, and fun. Would definitely recommend it, and we will be back.

It's such a fun retro arcade and fun family atmosphere. They've got tons of old box style arcade games, almost every type of mini console, and also have pool tables and darts. Great new place for any occasion!

This place is really fun! The staff and owners are really nice and helpful. There are lots of games and things to do with drinks, can't go wrong. Definitely worth checking out!

Awesome great place loved the older games and my kids loved it. Good prices for entry as well as two drinks given with VIP entry so worth it.

Love the vibe , cool retro games . New games , awesome bar . My favorite hangout spot!!

I seen when y?all first opened. I finally came in today with my friends for one of there birthdays. Pool and arcade spot is what he wanted. Atmosphere and Specials here are awesome.

Giving it 4 stars since it's not fully open yet. It is a nice place and they have some kool games. If you are into pinball and arcade games with some board games. The Staff is Nice and Friendly and the Owners are Very Nice and Friendly, too. I will be going back.

This place is fantastic! There is food, games, drinks, and sports on the TV. It's fun for the whole family. And the owners are incredibly nice! We had the best time!

Fun atmosphere, very inviting. Bartender was so nice. We are going back next weekend!

Great for the whole family! Bar pool darts arcade food it was all decent. Bring your own darts. It's about what you expect with great atmosphere!

Awesome place, it reminds me of my childhood (1980?s.) Great customer service, everyone is so happy even the owners! Very nice humble people. Blessings to you all and your new business ???? We will definitely come back!

Great place and people. I left a ps4 controller there the other day if it's been found can you hold onto it for me. Check cameras to be sure I was there between 5-1030 or so

This place is so cool. I can't wait to come back

Great price for a night of fun! Their VIP is well worth the price and the selection of games and activities are vast.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pinball tables still good in this modern age?

Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.

Are pool tables in arcades still good in this modern age?

Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
