The food at Bites and Brews was great! We had the spaghetti special on a Wednesday evening. Service was amazing and attentive. We also enjoyed the "Happy Hour" in the arcade with half price games!! Ages 11, 7, and 5 were entertained well over 2 hours!!

We recently had my son?s Birthday Party here and our host was Hayden. It was amazing. Hayden was very kind and veryyy easy to work with. My son and his friends had a blast! A room full of kindergarteners is a lot to handle but it was handled with grace and patience! Would definitely recommend them for a birthday party and absolutely recommend Hayden as a host!

Probably the most fun place in the Johnstown Area to take your family.

We held my son?s 6th birthday party here. It was SO EASY, all inclusive and FUN! All we had to bring in were cupcakes. The arcade has so much for the kids to do and they enjoyed laser tag. The food was brought out hot, fresh and on time (pizza, chicken, fruit and veggies - all excellent!) We were assigned our own host to help us with anything we needed. Maddie was so helpful and attentive! We will definitely be back next year and will support this business moving forward!

One of the best Arcades I've been to in Pennsylvania. 814 Lanes and Games Johnstown PA. The service was outstanding from the restaurant to the customer service desk. New machines and an awesome selection of games. A fantastic place to go with family/ friends. We had a blast! They even have laser tag, escape rooms and bowling. Well I was excited to bring my friends to 814. The food was good the last time I had it but not this time I payed 16 dollars for the worst Mac and cheese I have ever had. The cheese was like water and definitely cold all over. My friends food didn't look too bad but mine was not good at all I won't be back plus an added bonus I bought a 25 dollar game card but ever game in the game room was half broken so still have 18dollars on a card I will never use. I don't send back food I just don't come back.

I signed up for the bowling pass, my first visit was pleasant. Today was a different story not only did I experience racism from a customer but also from an employee, found out his name was Armani a mixed guy. He was rude and disrespectful, I spoke to the manager about him and he brushed it off, so I asked for the owners info, I will be reaching out to them as well because I spent a lot of money there from arcade, to food and bowling . So this is unacceptable!!!

Fun games and laser tag. Two different escape rooms, did the 30 minute one and got out with almost 6 minutes left. Was a fun time with buddies and kids.

We had a lot of fun with the family. We stayed in the arcade and did laser tag. So I can't comment on the escape rooms, which we do a lot of. The bowling alley looked very nice. The remodeling from the original Richland Lanes is amazing. The only part that bummed my 8 year old out was that the games he tried that were supposed to spit out tickets were not spitting out tickets. Very nice clean place. but also very expensive if you're taking the entire family the arcade is outrageously expensive even if if you could gain enough of the points the prizes are kind of shity and the ones that aren't you need an unrealistic amount of points to get. IF I could leave negative stars i would! 1. They where majorly understaffed and the skinny blonde chick at the front desk was super rude, but them being understaffed did help her. 2. Over-rated.. and overpriced... Laser tag is awesome here but don't waste your time or money on their weak escape room, it's horrible, you remain in one room the entire time.

I love this place! It's an awesome getaway for a fun night. The prices are really cheap, and they have an unlimited game nights Thursday from 9 to 11 and Friday/Saturday from 11 till 1 am. I enjoy the arcades as well, it has all my favorite games. Their wings are really good, my favorite is garlic parm ?? I also tried their Philly cheese steak pizza but was very oily didn't like it tbh!

Updated inside. Good games to play like lazer tag and VR. Lanes are good. I had some food at the restaurant. Friendly staff. They need to run some ozone in there, a bit of an unpleasant smell to the place. I'll be back. Support local businesses. Bathroom was clean, always a plus.

It is very expensive. The games are not worth the price. The drinks were $8 a piece. The prices would have been a little better, if the service was better. The bartender was rude. We sat for 5 minutes at an empty bar before we were served. She did not greet us or smile. It was a burden for her to wait on us. One of the worst margaritas ever. If we ever return it will not be in the near future.

Great lanes and they have fairly good food and drinks. Their staff on the other hand is questionable. A few of the staff members at different times that I've been there are on the verge of rude. One other thing that I'd mention would be, you almost can't hear the music. Even if you ask them to turn it up, they act like they do but they don't....its a bowling alley...turn on some tunes!!

Completely Nailed it! Really impressed- the guys knocked it out of the park here. Spent 3 hours on a rainy Sunday doing two games of bowling with some time in the arcade with our kiddo. Got food while bowling- all was great. Quality was good and pricing was fair. Great experience all around. Walking outside afterwards took a minute to acclimate back to reality, it was such a nice reprieve from what has been a challenging year for everyone. A wonderful addition to Johnstown for families, will be back!

This place is a lot of fun and just what the area needed, great fun for the whole family. With a little bit of everything there should be something to keep everyone happy. Laser tag, virtual reality, escape room, bowling, video games with prize tickets to win prizes. Adult drinks and great food. Party rooms to rent. During my recent visit, I found that the overall experience improved from my first visit. This time, I decided to try the food as well. However, I was slightly disappointed with the initial wait time as it took about 8 minutes to be seated after entering the establishment, and there was no one at the podium to assist during this period. As for the food, I found it to be average, without any particular dish standing out as exceptional

We have a great time every time. Kids love it, get to go do their own thing and I get to hangout over with Lou mixen crazy drinks to give to the wife. Will go again and often as we can family of six.

Variety and good prices. This bowling alley has a restaurant, arcade, laser tag and escape rooms in addition to bowling. For the arcade, we spent 8 dollars a person for 3 people and played arcade games for 2 hours. Time well spent.

Our waitress was amazing when we sat down to go get food. We went there to bowl. Paid for 3 hours at the VIP lane, and we waited more for the pins to go back to normal than we did to bowl. Definitely not worth $135. Very upset as they didn't do anything about it except say that they would get someone to come and fix it. Definitely would not go there to bowl ever again.

My granddaughter 's birthday party was held there, great place and great food.

Place is great for kids. However the dining experience was terrible. I didn't mind waiting a half hour for our food. I didn't mind the oj that had a sour taste (they must have changed it because it used to be great)....but we were served raw chicken. My child didn't realize it until she ate 3 BBQ boneless wings. Server quickly removed the food. Manager could have cared less.

I would of gave 3or4 stars but the little dark hair girl with purple in her hair that was working the shoe rental on Saturday night was horrible, service & attitude...she kinda ruined my first experience here & I didn't even bowl because of her!! The place itself is great, but the staff is not very friendly for being a kids entertainment facility. Danielle is live on tik tok while clocked in behind the counter, along with several other employees. I think that's absolutely unacceptable, especially when they aren't friendly even when they ARE working.

Waited over an hour for 3 tacos. (And it was still incorrect) They got almost every single order wrong. (One group.) Nothing was hot. The manager in the kitchen needs to know that if she's not going to change her career choices, she could at least change her attitude. Management pretty much set the wait staff up for failure. Very frustrating experience on the restaurant side.

I took my 10 and 5 year old here with some work friends. The kids had a blast with the arcade there. We played laser tag which you need 32 credits/person to play. There were several issue associated with my experience here. First, it took 40 minutes to give us our ordered fries and my quesadilla appeared as though it was microwaved. The waiter never checked in and consistently forgot our order. His name was Chris and he appears & friendly but was extremely slow and forgetful. Lastly, he had my raspberry iced tea drink and walked around the entire bar with it after giving my friends their drinks before mine. I wish I could get my money back for this inconvenience.

Overall a very fun time. Servers were attentive for the most part and bowling is decently priced. However....the kitchen staff clearly did not care how the food they sent out looked. Ordered the cheese and bacon fries and got a pretty generous portion. However the cheese was on a very small corner of the plate along with the bacon. As a restaurant manager for over a decade, I would never send that out to a customer.

I went here a few times in the past year. It's a hit or miss on the customer service. First few times the staff was rude and made you feel like a bother for everything, they ignored our entire party. BUT my recent visit this week was nice. They were on time with the wait were were given and the older gentleman at the bar was super sweet. The younger bar guy if he still works there could use some manners.

A lot of the arcade games were out of order or just took your money and you couldn't play. The virtual reality screens lagged and you could only play one people at a time and we weren't given all the balls needed to play everything. The food was expensive. Bowling was fun.

814 lanes and games has clean facilities, nicely updated. The seating for bowling could use a recover soon. The arcade and bar are nice to have as an alternative brakes in between bowling. I attended an event here and they provided a private space with 4 lanes. Our party had a private server who was amazing! The facility was very clean. Bathrooms were clean. The bar/restaurant area was large and open making the view to the lanes easy to see. The arcade was spread out and looked good. Highly recommend checking this place out for family fun.

One of the better price to portions you will find when it comes to a bowling alley, and really tons to do here between the lanes, bar, arcade, escape rooms, and laser tag. Arcade is a very good deal with amount of points you get to start and was impressed with amount and quality of the games, all in working order. This place is pretty cool! Whether going to bowl, play games, eat ( or have a few adult beverages), all ages can have a good time here. So I hate being catfished with food pictures! They post pictures online make it look real good and this is what I got what I ordered. The wings were so dry i choked on them. First time here since it has been remodeled. The atmosphere is really nice. The numbers of lanes has been cut in half, but everything is much more modern. I thought it was weird that the scoring consoles have no chairs. Someone came and took a food order while I was bowling and brought it right to the lane. The pizza is actually really good. My kids played in the arcade and did the VR experience which they thought was a lot of fun. Overall, I think this is a fun place to hang out for any age group.

Great place to bowl, yet I can never get to experience it, due to them never having lanes open. However if you make it to a lane, your stomach will be begging for food if not eaten prior, you will be starving due to no waitresses being available.
