A few decent craft brews on tap, others in cans. Good variety of games from antique to modern. Basically bring a 20 dollar bill, buy a beer and use the rest on quarters for games! There's a console game shop next door and a Meat Pies place across the street!
I love this place! When I'm with the kids before 9 p.m. or my friends after 9 p.m. it's just a great place to hang out. The Pizza is great and the art pizza boxes are super awesome and the out door game Connect Four is awesome and so many pinball games to choose from, personally X-Men and pulp fiction is my favorite, new and retro game. Great service and vibe.
This place was really cool. We stopped on our way into Seattle. The selection is great, the worker was friendly, and it felt like a safe environment. They also have food which is nice. Definitely check this place out!
8-bit is always a go to spot. Been going for years. Wonderful friendly staff. Retro games that take quarters and lots of fun to be had for kids and adults. Adults only after 9pm I believe. Also has a bar and I highly recommend trying their pineapple cider!
What a fun place! They have an ATM and change machines. Most of the OG games are a quarter and the fahncy pinball is 75? per game. Nice selection of old school and newer. They also have a bar and pizza available.
Their jalapeno popper pizza was so good, I highly recommend it. Some machines were out of service and ate our coins and there's a bit of a musty smell, idk from the customers or the place itself. Customer service is great, very attentive and energetic. Overall I had a laid-back and fun time!
My favorite place to be. Good nostalgia. Reminds me of being a kid. Lots of pinball and older games. New ones as well. Ask for Forrest. Pretty cool dude. Couple of world champion pinball players frequent the place.
A perfect place to have family night or a date night. This place has all the old school games and an abundance of pinball machines. They also serve pizza and beer. What else could you ask for. And then they do more by adding an outside benched patio.
Lovely Renton gem with iconic classics like Street Fighter and a LOT of your vintage pinball games. It also has a small selection of modern arcade games like Minecraft and Luigi?s Haunted Mansion. With the newer games, you can expect to collect cards which come with the $0.75 cents you spent on it. Super cute for collectives. It's overall a nice place if you have some extra coins to spare with an ATM if you don't. Don't expect to come here with expectations from arcades like ?Round 1? and etc. Come here for
Still one of the best arcade spots south of Seattle. Great well maintained games and awesome staff
Great place for pinball, fighter, and old school arcade games. Would recommend for hanging out with friends, fun date night, or even solo
Very fun old school games! I dumped way too many quarters into Miss Pac-Man.
edited to add**within the last 2 weeks i have spent about $200.00 or more. I was 8-6 from this place and I was not given a reason why. I was just told they are inchoots with the Pub and Eatery across the street. I went there after having a few at 8 bit and I didnt order anything to drink just played pool and put music in the juke box. The bartender Brooklyn treated me not so professionally, I felt like she was going to throw glass cups at me because I lightly tapped her shoulder and said excuse me. Some men
This place is a gem. They have a number of really great classic and new pinball machines and arcades. This is a well curated selection of proven machines along with some new options. They also have a couple modern arcades too. All the machines appeared well maintained and fairly set up. Each machine had the rescue ball activated. Kid friendly. All players I encountered were respectful and followed etiquette. Everything is reasonably priced with most plays being .25 or .50.
Amazing location! Lots of machines to play on! Lots of nice old machines to take one back. Staff are nice, the vibe is cool. Definitely going to return.
Fun spot that keeps the kids busy. Quarters last so much longer here than credits at a place like Dave and Busters or Luckystrike. They also have beverages for the grown-ups
Nice games to play, spent over $40 + worth of coins to play on a few games. That wasn't too crazy, but $15 for a 6in diameter pizza is crazy.
On Sunday We group of five spend 1 hr over games played pinball ,bike racing , car racing , shooting games background music gives perfect energy for the games , we have to exchange bills with quarters & used those for starting games , we parked car over two blocks away , feel like limited set of games available it was little crowded on Sunday Eve as a group we enjoyed being there . As far as we know there is no time limit
As an arcade, it is a 10/10 place for nostalgia. If it existed 20 years ago or more, it would still be a great arcade spot. To truly appreciate the time well spent and to just fuel your 10 year old self is just amazing. Have a beer, eat a pizza, and play some games that are just classics is such a great time to spend on a weekend. Honestly, the few complaints I have are just preferences. I wish they opened sooner, the variety of alcohol branching to different countries and having better food/options of.
Cool place for a drink. Lots of pinball and arcade machines.
Went here yesterday with a friend excited to have found a local place with a lot of pinball and a bar. I assumed it was 21+ only but was wrong. Kids are allowed until the evening hours and that is why I've given the three star review. There was a pack of kids in yesterday running around, not spending any money, and I was almost knocked over / beer knocked out of my hand a few times by the brats. Parents were oblivious to this as they were too wrapped up in some tangled web of a conversation. We left after o
Highly recommend for first date, it has drink names on the restroom if you don't feel safe, the games are super nice and, as a note the back yard is smoke friendly so if you don't like smoke stay inside, if you don't mind it's a great place foe chatting
Really good hangout spot. Cheap prices to play arcade games and pinball, cheap food and drinks. Great time.
Pretty cool little arcade bar. A few games were off. Only open till 2 on weekends midnight other days fyi.
Awesome retro arcade bar! Forest and Joe are cool fellas! Always with excellent customer service and the atmosphere here is just simply fun! They also do a great job on updating their arcade machines, if one no longer functions, they'll try to fix it or replace it with another game.
So much fun with throw back games to all ages. Reasonable prices and friendly bar. Great place to catch up with friends.
Good sized arcade with pretty good variety of games from classics to modern and pinball. Milkshakes are delicious and good selection of beers. Only real downsides are the game volumes are pretty low and on all the classic arcades, most you can barely hear. Classic selection is a little weak too, not a Williams game in the house. All the best ones are sit-downs which I'm not a super fan of. Easily worth the trip though.
SO MANY PINBALL MACHINES! Loved all the different pinball machines and games to play. They have drinks as well.
Awesome 80's vintage throw back arcade with all the games you loved growing up playing!! Ms Pacman, Galaga, Frogger, Donkey Kong, Pinball... they got it all + outside big versions of Jenga & Connect Four & they serve beer & pizza!!
A fun place to play games and take your kids. They have a good selection of old and new games, including lots of Pinball machines. It's a little crowded but everyone was friendly. It's a great alternative to the big and loud places like Dave and Busters.
What a wonderful place to visit for young n young at heart. Food is arcade food, but that's not the reason you're there! Bring your quarters and have a blast!!
Great place. Plenty of beers. Chill. More than plenty of classic arcade games. However the tyrants across the street didn't like my review and tattle tailed on me, like school grade children, and made it sure I wouldn't be able to drink here. The bartender was a great guy, he even said "You were cool last week. I have no problem with you. We can't serve you. We are partnership bar with across the street." Make sure to leave a horrible review at the tyrant across the street so you can also get 86'd
This has become my weekly hang out spot for some quality pinball action. We are no longer close enough to go weekly. Every visit remains high quality. Update: oh my. The premium pins are great.
Lots of different games, new cool stuff and some awesome classic games I haven't seen in years
Good beer and a ton of pinball machines (tilt sensors are high!) Glad I found this place during my visit to Seattle. There is a parking lot around the corner.
Excellent and great old-school arcade. Tons of pinball and old-school video. Arcade games there. Good service, decent food, perfect for kids.
I had so much fun going here! This arcade's got some games I grew up with, some that I didn't know existed, and some that were released recently. The staff was also pretty cool, they made sure all the games performed at their very best and there were no problems throughout the arcade. And from what I've heard, they do tournaments sometimes which is pretty cool for me. Overall, a great time!
Love it here! Always a good vibe with great bartenders and awesome pizza and games!
This place is just awesome. Great drinks, and all the best arcade games I used to play as a kid. Open late too!
Went there today and had a great time!! The New (to us) Bartender is really pleasant to deal with and she keeps the machines very nice and clean... saw her wiping them down when we got there!! I have been going there for about 10 years and love it!!!
A fun spot to visit in Renton. A great variety of arcade games and pinball machines, both old and new. I wish they'd get back an Asteroids machine (I'd even settle for Asteroids Deluxe) but at least there's a Pin*Bot table in the back room.
Just spent a date night here last night and had a great time. 21+ only after i think 930 so great to get away from kids. Lots of old school style games and pinball which is just what I was looking for. Patio out back with benches and tables and a big connect four game. Forest our bartender was amazing and super kind. Absolutely gonna become a regular place for us to go to from now on. ATM if you forgot cash and machines for quarters. An absolute gem. If you don't know if you should go- this is your sign.
Omg $15 pizza.. microwave. Dried up tomato sauce. My friend threw up afterward. He didnt even drink anything. The health department should look into this location for the safety of their patronage
The perfect combo of high quality games but still a little grimy! Family friendly during the day and a spot for pinheads at night. Games are affordable and well maintained. A throwback to when arcades were all about fun.
I came here for that moment that I couldn't live as a kid, and when I felt sad, this place got me going more with Galaxy Galaga. I challenge anyone to beat my score. I'm the JKR. AkA. MrJoker ?? and if we do well welcome back to the pass we're things will get serious let's try ?? good place And fun things to talk out side
We had another great time on Saturday. The place is safe for little kids. Clean, not too loud. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Oh where to begin. This is where gamers not so young and old come together to battle it out with their favorite old school arcade games and pinball machines. For the millennials reading this, back in my day we didn't have the luxury of playing video games in the comfort of our own home. We had to actually go somewhere and to play and we had to pay a quarter per game. But I digress, 8-bit is strategically located at the heart of downtown Renton. This hidden gem is authentic to its core. You will find the old
Always a good time, but I always forget about the tourneys on Tues! Get there by 630p to sign up ?? Also, their pizza is worth it. Good staff, good games, good food.
Every time I'm in town, I always love to come here with my partner and play some fun old-school games. Games are pretty cheap, as well are the drinks! I can't wait to come back again soon :)
I should've had photos for this review but I'm sure my words do justice. This arcade bar is a diamond in the rough truly, I was skeptical at first and now it's my new favorite spot. I adore all the pinball machines with a limited amount of new arcade games. I've never had a bad experience here, I also always enjoy the cider they have on tap. I definitely recommend this for a date or cute spot for friends. Please if you're in renton, visit this spot! You will not regret it!
This place has always been cool. The only thing that I wish is that their beer selection were better. Most of the beers taste like they were brewed in some neighbors garage or something. The video games are super awesome and there is always a rotating selection of pinball machines which is what I'm totally into. Some of the consoles are pretty old from the 1960s I think.
Place is great. Randall, the shop keeper is the best. Enjoyed a perfectly cooked house pizza, and played some of the coolest pinball machines around. Top notch!
The place is okay , the games go from .25$to1 depending on the game ur playing,no entry fee, the pinball for 75cents a game oh and on some of the pinball machines the owner rigged them so the ball roll down the center better and harder, they removed some of the rubber bummer in some so it harder to hit the ball aswell , other then that you'll have some fun here
Overall a fun arcade worth the visit as an arcade enjoyer. I did enjoy the patio being there to relax outside. There is however a sign on the outside proclaiming they serve ice cream, yet they do not.
Pizza was not that great, but the venue was clean, staff was friendly and we had alot of fun. The machines are affordable and the atmosphere was enjoyable.
First time with friends last night, bartender was rude as hell. Games were awesome tho, but the bartender made experience a 4/10 sadly
Kids allowed to 9:30. Kids pinball tournament on Sundays. Great barcade. They have all the classics plus a bunch of things I have never seen before. Good beer selection and snacks available. Working change machines. First time in today, but I look forward to coming back again in the future.
The bartenders here are always down to Earth and friendly. They have a consistent rotation if pinball cabinets which is always exciting and the drinks are decently priced all things considering. I love going here either woth a group of people or sometimes by myself. Its not a place where you have to worry about crazy things happening. Id highly encourage others to give it a shot. Oh! And their music choice are pretty on point too. Good spot for the local alternative peeps to come and have a good time.
Such a great place! The old school arcade feel but also beverages , and the best pinball selection I was seen in the western states! Wish I lived next door?
Love playing my favorite pinball games and enjoying some good beer wile doing it.
One of the few legit arcades in the Seattle area. Plenty of arcade classics, pinball, and newer "experience" type games. Reasonable prices! Plus a bar. What more do you want? Bonus: the Street Fighter II: Champion Edition machine is in perfect condition. Update: we did a birthday party here, and it was great. They ask that you get food from them or across the street at their other restaurant. Not a problem! We ordered some pizzas and everyone was happy.
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. Tons of pinball and arcade games ranging from old electromechanical machines to state of the art current titles. Very fairly priced - the most expensive game is still only 75 cents and most are 25-50 cents. Places like this are an endangered species and I am so happy to have one near me.
Really nice people. Lots of pinball and a variety of arcade games ranging from some cool old ones to new ones. Of course the newer games cost more money and the play time is shorter, but that's no one's fault but the designers. Decent beer selection and an outdoor patio out back.
This place is awesome! They got beer they got great games, you don't have to buy any stupid tokens, or card, or any other nonsense like that. And the games are super cheap! It's all ages until 9 p. M., And then it's grown up time till 2. So whatever it is you want they got. Only food selections Pizza, which isn't half-bad, and candy bars. Atmosphere is awesome, just a great place to have fun
Good way to spend an hour or two without spending a lot. I brought my almost 10-yr old for the first time. He's played some classic arcade games at home, but not in an arcade. He had more fun with pinball than classic arcade games, because of the difficulty of the old games. He said he'd go back, so I consider it a success. Selection-wise, it felt like they had a slightly larger selection of pinball machines than classic arcade games with a handful of modern arcade games including TMNT and Minecraft Dungeo
Loved this place! It was small but honestly very cozy and i loved the people working! The fact that it seems to be open all night is an extreme plus for me as well being as i sleep during the day! Adult oriented, friendly, very nostalgic! Hello pinball machines & pacman! Also have to give the jawbreaker machine a good mention. Fantastic. :)
Great location! They have an awesome collection of both new and old games with WALLS of pinball to choose from (two of my faves are there... Addams Family and Medieval Madness). Its delightfully air conditioned, plenty of space to move around, no mask required if vaccinated, and really just a great way to spend a few hours and a pocketful of quarters.
We went in here on our night out to celebrate and it did not disappoint. The staff was friendly. The venue was fun. Lots of neat pinball games. Not many actual arcade games - the ones they did have seemed to be repeats. (I.e. 3 different street fighter cabinets)
Some of the games are definitely broken. This is a great place to burn quarters and friendships. To this day, my friends won't talk to me. Was it beating them in every game? Maybe. Was it tossing my beer in the air to get an edge in a game and ruining their 300$ suit? Possibly. Was it starting a fist fight because I lost and being escorted out by police? I doubt it.
Absolutely fantastic!!! Have a beer!! Play pinball.. or have a beer play retro Arcade!! Fun place for a first date
Early Evenings on a Thursday night made a great close place to meet and greet. Nice selection of beers including the big R. Pizza was killer when stomach needed help with the hops. Another more universally attractive spot across the street and locals/regulars show up after 9pm but would definitely come back again. I didn't forget the games. All machines I used were in good working order and no sticky buttons. Had more old than new new but that's what I wanted. Good times!
Wonderful place to play pinball, the food and service are also amazing, I usually order a pizza and a slushy. And remember to tip, because the people working there are very nice.
Great selection of pinball and retro arcade games, and love that they're still coin-op & most games just a quarter or 50 cents. They do serve beer, but kids are allowed with their adults until 8pm (I believe). Draft beer selection is kind of limited, but decent and local focused. My kids and I had fun. We'd return if we're in the area again.
There's pinball, nice people, decent selection of cans for beer. Before 9pm you can bring the kids and they can have some much needed out of the house time. Definitely a good spot for a fun date or friend night.
Great little bar with a surprising variety of machines, old and new. We played House of the Dead 2 but got pwned by the Magician. I hate him. Anyway, it's half pinball/half arcade cabinets. They have some pretty cool new machines. I would like to play the Luigi's Mansion machine someday. They have pizzas that I didn't try but that looked pretty decent. The girls working the bar were both very friendly and attentive. I was also happy to find that I was not the oldest person there so, yeah, five stars.
Lots of arcade games. Pinball, Tekken 5, Street Fighter, Raiden II, PacMan, Tetris, the arcade games with guns while standing and sitting. Not a large selection of draft beer, I think there were 4 taps, but they have a variety of canned alcoholic beverages. I didn't get food but when someone else did it smelled amazing. It has a back patio where you can smoke/vape while having your beverage.
So much classic Pinball and arcade games. You can't go wrong. The pizza is below average, but they have good beer and so much pinball you don't really notice the pizza. It was a fantastic place to introduce my early 20's Xbox-playing nephews to the lost art of pinball!
Such a cool selection of classic arcade games from different eras. I wish they had a better food and drink selection. There are very few arcades with an emphasis on classic games in the area, so if this interests you at all, be sure to check it out.
Good little arcade bar, they are more of an arcade than a bar which is great for kicking back and having an outing with kids but can deter from the social aspects of it being a bar a bit. Very limited selection of drinks but plenty of arcade games. Prices are average and food is good. Overall you will have a solid time here but it won't be anything to write home about.
Clean, well maintained, and constantly upgrading. Their collection of games is mostly pinball but you can find some great light gun shooters (Luigi's Mansion!!), as well as a good variety of fighters. Favorite pinball machines here are definitely Rick and Morty, Deadpool, and Avengers Infinity Quest. They also have some great classics like Attack from Mars. No hard alcohol but they serve wine and beer. All ages till 9pm and then a fun older crowd shows up.
Great place! Has both video games & pinball(getting rare these days). The only reason not 5 stars is I like the older Gottlieb pins & most were newer which is not a negative thing, just my preference. Place has some incredibly fun games - you have GOT to try the Terminator game right by the main entrance!
Fun selection of games, $20 stretches a long way if you're not playing the super modern stuff. Great tap beers, pizzas take a little while but are good. Great chill crowd hanging out, will be back.
This was a blast, my brother and I decided to go see a 1:30am showing at AMC. We came here to kill time and get some drinks, both of those worked out great! They have a good selection of arcades that can keep you entertained for a couple hours, the draft beer selection is admittedly pretty small. The beers did taste good though. All in all it was a good night and I highly recommend this spot for killing a little time.
If you went to the arcades in the 80s and 90s and really do not like the corporate feel of Round 1, this place is for you. A large collection of pinball machines, multiple 3 to 4 players games (ranging from modern and retro) and many old school standups, shooters and cocktail machines. Everyone was welcoming and the atmosphere was amazing. There really is something for everyone here.( If they got a DDR machine or Virtual On, I would be in heaven) All games were priced accordingly. Highly recommended!!!
Love this place. The games are classics and you can't beat the prices. The service is outstanding and they get to know the regulars. Pizza is great and the shakes are handmade each time. No pre-frozen drinks to blend again when someone orders it. Randall and Amanda are a great team!
Love this place, it's got a great vibe, the employees are SUPER! Every time I walk in I think. " Man I wish I'd have thought of this."
I'd go back for sure. My favorite game, arcade game, all time is here MARVEL vs CAPCOM 2! The kids liked it. There were some games that were out of order, no big deal. I'm so glad we have this here. Classic?. 4.5 stars. I'll be back for sure.
Bar was crowded and I couldn't order anything. But staff was on ball to Id me 6 times in a row even while I was just playing pinball or many of the retro games they had there. Fun for older people during the 21+ hours but I didn't have a good time.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
