Tried to asked politely for a staff member to move a plush from the back wall of one of the law machine games and she was rude and even disregarded how said I spent $10 trying to pull the plush from the back wall but it's IMPOSSIBLE to do it because the crane simply cannot reach back there. At every other arcade I have been to, staff are always helpful when moving a plush that's impossible to get into winnable spot. The plush doesn't even cost that much, $2.50, and I already spent way more trying to get and

Food is good. One of the few places in town to play pinball. Kind of pricey at $1.50 per play but Thursdays it's only $0.50. They definitely cater more to the evening crowd. Tried getting lunch at noon and got a "sorry, the kitchen is closed"... at noon downtown? Staff have been hit/miss, but usually helpful.

This is pretty cool place to go. The food was great, the arcade games weren't expensive. I really liked the axe throwing and all the games they had for it. The staff was really kind and helpful. Especially that one blonde girl, I think her name?s Becca, Becky, Beck. She was really helpful and polite.

Visiting Blacksburg, the place was recommended by a friend. It is a great spot to hang with some free options too like ping pong and pool! Becca had amazing customer service! Would come back!

I had so much fun with my fam at 540 Social today! We love the arcade games and enjoyed all of the fun drink options at the bar. Food was solid too! Catherine was our bartender and was attentive and so nice, she even took the time to learn our names. This is definitely my new favorite spot!

This is such a cool place!! Axe throwing, fun games, and great staff!! Nothing more satisfying that chucking axes and throwing stars at a wall. Becca taught well.

The games are very fun and food is reasonably priced. They need to work on service at the bar. I've been here twice and both times I waited over 20 minutes for a drink, and they were not very crowded either time. The most recent time, after waiting 20 minutes, we were told (by a bartender) one bartender works the right side and one works the left side, so nobody will take our order in the middle and we'll have to move. YO SO Hum was one of the best teachers I've seen, she taught so hecking well and I had a blast throwing axes and shurikens!! My only regret is that I don't live in Virginia. But I'm definitely am considering it more now that I've been here!! Thank you for this wonderful experience!!!

Our department and VT held our holiday gathering at Blue Ridge Axe for 2021. It was a great experience and everyone had a wonderful time. Boston was the best to help us and coordinate everything, even going above and beyond to help our caterer set up in the kitchen area. Highly recommend for a fun outing as a group, a group of friends, or just a date night.

We brought our 12 year old here to throw axes and he had so much fun! It was a good time to get some screen free quality time together. And Alex was super helpful if we were having trouble with some of the theowing items. He had some good tips to help us fix our form.

Love the people there, so nice and they have great Axe coaches. They explained to me the rules very well so id be safe and ready to go. They showed me how to throw an axe and after a couple tries i was doing pretty well! Everyone i bring seems to love the time there. The arcade is also a smash with fun games all around. 10/10

Awesome experience! Great price for the time you spend and the axe coaches are great! The arcade is also super fun and the 1 hour cards are definitely worth it! We went for date night, but it would be a great time for any event! We will definitely be coming back!

Had a really fun time playing the games. We had money left on our cards and got to came back and use the same card. However, we redeemed all our points to get the Pok?mon cards that were in the prize display and all the cards were fake. We went back and let them know, but there was nothing they could do since we already redeemed our points. So we're disappointed.

Me and my girlfriend came for our anniversary, and had an amazing time. We came with no experience, but the manager Boston was our coach and helped us both learn super quickly and we had a blast. Some of the best customer service I have ever experienced and we will definitely be back very soon

Great place to bring your friends! The host was extremely friendly and taught us a variety of different methods of throwing, and types of games to play. They also explained how to effectively throw each type of axe and teach you to land it perfectly every time. Highly recommend.

The employees are super friendly and the experience was amazing. The instruction period was brief but very informative (so you aren't cutting into your scheduled time). Overall this is an amazing experience to have and Blue Ridge Axe Throwing & Arcade is a great place for beginners (like me!).

The place itself looks fun and entertaining! It was recommended by various friends and family while visiting in town for the weekend. I got to the place early before opening so I could have my lunch in the car prior to meeting up with my friend. So I arrived around 1135 (doesent open until 12). As I'm sitting there, I assume one of the guys that works there is pulling in and rolls his window down. Asks if im going into that place ( while pointing at the building) and I reply yes, just waiting for a friend.

Very fun experience, and especially great location in downtown Blacksburg. Had a great time with the axe throwing lesson learning all sorts of fun tricks. Made me feel like Hawkeye by the end, even though my aim was off. Great date idea too, I took my buddy with me when I girl I liked wasn't interested. Don't like her anymore because who would turn down axe throwing?! Anyways, fantastic experience.

Such a fun experience. We did a double date there with the black lights and it was so fun. They guy that was working was very patient and made sure we knew exactly what to do. Definitely would recommend if you just want some fun or if you want to let go of some stress. 10/10

We have never thrown aces before and we showed up at 9:05pm and there was 2 people in the place besides us. The useless guy at the counter would not let us get a lane because they rent for an hour and they closed at 10:00. We were absolutely stonewalled by the attendant. Where has customer service gone to? DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS!

Average. Prices are high for the novelty due to limited ranges, and the arcade is a great selection but slim, but still a good selection of what is there. However, THEY HAVE 4 PINBALL TABLES, I feel like that isn't advertised enough since I didn't know this until I showed up, but they're there! They have Deadpool, The Mandalorian (Pro Table, I believe), Dr. No, and Guardians of the Galaxy as well as $0.50 (from $1) pinball on Thursdays! :D

Came to an 18th birthday party here. We had 4 lanes for an hour with lots of help from the employee/axe experts. Then we played the multitude of arcade games. Great time had by all!
