Went for the Smash tournament and everyone there was so nice! I loved the box TVs for melee and the computer monitor for ultimate. There was so much joy there in friendly competition. You can probably tell that I may have been the only girl in the whole place.
They are recently under new management! New owners invested in new equipment and lowered prices ! Really good place to play . Only con was I came during a packed tournament night (which is good!) but computer space was at a premium and one of the owners had 2 of their small children (4-5 year olds ) taking up computer random computer spots in the shop . I noticed that players wanted to avoid the available stations of the shop near the kids causing like 4-5 pcs to be unusable on a packed night, not counting
I brought my 9yo and 10yo for the first time to the weekly Smash Bros tourny. My kids were the youngest ones there but I cannot begin to say how SUPER welcoming and SUPER nice EVERYONE was from the staff (Brian and Jose) all the way to all the other older kids to young adults playing. This is the type of gaming community I want my kids to be around. Definitely will be back!
My favorite place in GA ngl, love the GGST scene here, we get that bracket stacked and have a great sense of community.
The best venue for esports and fighting games in not just Atlanta, but the entire East Coast. If you play and compete in tournaments, are interested in competing in a game, or just looking to hang out with chill people and game, this is the place to be.
One of the best and most supportive locations we have for the fighting game community, can't wait to continue enjoying as both a competitor and as an organizer.
Under it's Third Ownership now, 4o4 eSports by Sh33rz is a place that has expanded from Previously Fighting Games, to one that hosts TCGs (Trading Card Games) as well such as Magic The Gathering, Pokemon TCG, and more. The Venue fee for Daily usage is VERY feasible at a rate of $10.25 per day, and there's consistently Cool AC running to stay out of the Heat. If you have an Event you would like to host there that would take up at least Four Hours of a Day and will have Guests, with Advance communication, y
100% the best place to go to, make friends, hang out, and watch or be a participant and some high level matches. Whatever game you play, play it here ??
Very nice place to go and socialize as well as spectate or attend tournaments.
If you love fighting games or looking to hangout with like minded people this is the spot. I come here to practice for bigger events or just to chill and talk with people. Get in with $10 and you are set to go for the whole damn night. Don't be afraid to ask people to play some games. Tons of people will be willing to.
Great place with friendly faces! Fairly cheap entry cost, comfortable seating and an active community inside and outside the building. Only thing is events are common which is great but the place is fairly small. Other than that, Georgia's best fighting game area there is.
One of the go-to places if you even remotely enjoy games a little bit here in Georgia. The community is great here, the competition is strong, and it's a beyond sick place to have a good time. I don't get to go often, but the couple hour drive is super worth it. It's open fairly often as well, so if you ever have the time.. drop by!
Best arcade in town. TOs and Boss are friendly and run the shop perfectly. Tournaments are fun, communities make even losing a joy, and I love spending my weeks here.
Really cool atmosphere. I love how the setups are head to head (facing each other). Really captures the essence of the fight game community and creates for a fun and competitive atmosphere. I definitely recommend visiting here if you are in the Atlanta area and are looking for some gaming. One of the coolest venues in the city for hosting events and really easy to get to off the highway.
My time there was a blast. When I was there early, owner had went out of his way to play tekken with me untill more people showed up. Good service, good crowd, set ups were good with DLC on most if not all setups. Good air conditioning. Is in a good area to get food in the mall or delivered. Recommended to those who love fighting games. Def give them your business if you are in the FGC.
One of the premier arcade venues for fighting games in the Atlanta area. Right next to a H-mart plaza with great restaurants, Boba, bakeries, and more inside the H-mart market. Great staff and great customers. If you enjoy fighting games and want to seek stronger opponents or want to get into the genre and learn from experienced veterans, then this is the place for you.
Great vibes, solid players, support your locals
Great energy! Dope environment, and games for everyone! Host a tournament, bring friends...bring a date; it's all good!
Having a dedicated venue for fighting game tournaments is a rare blessing. If you've only been to tournaments hosted at bars or comic shops, you have to give 404 a try. Dedicated casual/friendly setups, incredibly well organized, and filled with some of the best talent in GA. Great place for hobbyist competitors and serious players.
Easily the best arcade/casuals/tourney setting I've ever been to. The owner works hard to keep it clean and pristine at all times. They have just about every game you could want, available at all times. Great place.
The place is just amazing, it has a very cool vibe and there are players here that play all types of fighting games! It's mostly Tekken and Smash, but you will also occasionally find some players from Mortal Kombat, Blazblue, GG, and much more! The owner is very friendly and has a good connection and relationship to everyone there. The place is in a plaza with multiple different food spots, including a grocery store. It's an amazing spot overall, and this is by far the best hangout spot I've ever been too!
I love this place and will always love how hard the owner puts into creating such a vibrant environment for gamers go come together and grow with each other and have fun playing games. Highly recommend this place if you're ever around the hmart area which has so much good places to eat and immerse yourself in Fgc and Smash Bros glory.
This place is AMAZING!!! 10 bucks for the whole night to play fighting games??? what other place in ATLANTA does that??? with the rising cost of goods and prices (especially OTP or in ATL), having a 3rd place (a.k.a outside of work and school) to go and chill with other like minded individuals, train, and just vibe and have a good time offline is very needed in today's trying times. we need more places like 4o4esports to exist.
Super fun and chill environment. The staff is really cool and the community is friendly. There are good food options near it.
Hands down one of the best esports venues In the state. Owner is amazing and easy to work with and genuinely cares about the people who come into the shop. Great environment and never a dull moment. Would recommend to all new and veteran players.
Place is a little on the tight side as far as space goes, but the owner is extremely efficient in getting proficient use out of every square foot he has available. As far as I can tell, this is the best place in all of Georgia to hit up if u are looking for legit E fight gaming comp.
Great place. Awesome times. Very clean. Best TO around! I highly recommend anyone interested in competitive fighting games to go anytime they're open! Just not on Thursdays. Please avoid making this terrible mistake and everything will be ok. I promise.
Always a blast, regular tournaments, and only 10 dollars to enter. The owner is very personable and chill. The place is a great place to meet people with similar intrests and nested in a place you can get plenty of good food.
Great place to learn fighting games. Community is real nice. Weekdays are for big practice and competition, Friday and Saturday are devoted to smaller games and just hanging out. Bunch of space for bringing your own setups too.
It's a great place to hang out. You can walk in, meet people, and play a variety of fighting games at any skill level. The set up is clean and comfortable so you can spend a lot of time just hanging out and having fun.
This is a wonderful venue. Lots of setups and the place is clean. It's in the Peachtree Pavilion Shopping Center, so there's plenty of places to eat mere steps away and you can explore other things of interest. The community is welcoming and everyone brings the HYPE. If someone gets #shmixturized on stream (or off, lol) you can expect the place to explode, so don't be fooled by ?esports? in the title. It's not quiet and subdued; you will be able to have loads of fun and let the neighbors know about it. The
I finally had time to stop by; they are definently a step above the rest. If your into gaming; whether it be esports, fortnite, or even the classics. 4o4 is your spot, they are AMAZING!
A great venue to come and practice specifically for those who want to really improve their skills as much as possible. There are plenty of setups to play on and seeing as it is located in Atlanta, it is one of the best places to play some of the best players around.
Phenomenal environment if you're looking for a good time and love fighting games. Also the best place to practice if you want to improve your skills for games like tekken Guilty Gear Smash ultimate etc.
4o4 is the main place to go for Georgia Smash. The layout of the room is great, and I like the art on the walls, not to mention the TO who's really nice. My one thing that I personally don't like is how loud the music and setups are.
When I first came to 4o4 I was nervous as I was new to the scene and to Georgia, little did I know I had come to the most welcoming and friendly scene anywhere. Greg has turned 4o4 into a sanctuary for not just fighting game players but anybody to come and share their interest. If you havent been then you are missing out.
One of the BEST fighting game venues in Georgia ! The couple times I've been there, everything was ran really smoothly and everyone was super nice. Can't recommend this place enough!
A while ago I stopped by for the Melty Blood tournament. I was super nervous, but everyone there was friendly and welcoming! I'll definitely be coming back one day! (to go 0-2 twice again)
Been going here for almost 2 years now and things just don't change around here. Great competitive atmosphere, caring hospitality amongst all players/visitors, a safe space for pretty much anyone to walk in and strike up a conversation with a complete stranger. That's the kind of place 4o4 esports is. No other local comes close.
Love the new look! The manager Bryant was very attentive and ran a smooth tournament.
My experience here was pretty good nice little spot to head up if you in to fighting games. $10 to get you to play pretty much everything in there PS4 games Nintendo switch you name it they got it so if you ever bored on a Friday night hit up 404 sports
404 is a great place to kick back, meet other like minded players and have a great time just playing fighting games and hanging out while others like you have a great time great place for competitive gaming
Venue is straight banger. Super chill community, mass orders of wings, and legit world class killers who push everyone to get better. Place is just the sickest venue for playing fighting games.
great place, friendly people, amazing competition your always gonna find someone who plays the fighting game your into and even if you don't know how to play everyone is friendly enough to teach you or give you a chance best community you can be a part of.
Always a fun time coming here. The owner is super cool and always runs events smoothly. Love the vibes of the place not gonna find another place like it in Georgia.
This place alone revived the rivals of aether local scene. Without this place GA Rivals would've fizzled out. You have no idea how thankful I am for the organizers and the venue to be so good.
The owner is a a great man. Very great venue for tournaments and events, with ample hardware and stations. Conveniently located in a shopping plaza with great restaurants. Highly recommend.
Greatest place to play fighting games and smash. Chill, hype, and fun atmosphere, super comfortable seating for spectating, and an amazing and passionate owner!
Greg runs an A1 facility with a clean welcoming atmosphere for gamers of all kinds. Although 4o4 is mostly fighting game focused, they've got a wide range of retro, sports, music (ddr) games.
Most fun I've had in a long time playing smash bros, would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a great time and a challenge since the players here are also very good.
Cool place to hang, costs $10 to enter and can play as long as you want. Everything is provided from consoles to controllers and fight sticks
Very cool place, lots of tournaments and setups to play/practice, just show up on time or you get DQ'd lmao
Best tournament/local venue there is. The community is great, the owner is great, everything is great. Go. You'll see what I mean.
I can't wait to visit again. The space feels a little spartan at first: but like it definitely a living room made for battle.
4o4 is an amazing place. It's perfect for beginners to learn or for experienced players to compete. The food options in the complex are also great lol
Easily the best esports/FGC venue in state. My only genuine complaint is the noise, on 100+ entrant smash nights that venue can get loud.
Video gamers rejoice theres a place for you to game and network with other gamers, with weekly tournaments make sure you visit this one, also check out their Twitter you can find out just how active they are,I know I do. The owner Greg is always trying to innovate and keep the gamers active
The home of FGC Atlanta. Join the discord and get involved with this incredible community.
Legendary group of dudes. Solid place for casuals or competition. Keeping the FGC alive like true champs!
Best place to play fighting games in Georgia. Great people. Good community. Friendly and affordable.
The Owner, Greg, will treat you like family and make sure you have the best time. Everyone should support this guy.
Wonderful venue. Owner remembers 5hr name of everyone that walks in, really does make it feel like family.
Great atmosphere and hospitality! The owner is knowledgeable, customer service is excellent and the location is perfect! Free parking as well!
Fighting games. They also have several PS4s, a SNES Mini, an N64, and a Wii, in case you have games but not systems. The owner is also incredibly accommodating
A great place for gamers trying to test their skills or just hang out and play casuals, either way the place is great
The greatest competitive gaming place in Atlanta i love it i love the people there it's like family they just take you right in
The place looked really freaking cool and Smash tourneys every Thursday are pretty cool.
Great venue. Has multiple set ups for friendlies most of the time. Just a great experience overall
Love everything about the place ! I come from augusta to visit 4o4 all the time. Everyone that loves games needs to check them out
Great owner. Great vibes. Cool location. Can't get a better experience in the city.
Great place, fun games! Seems like a great place for esports events and small video game parties!
Mad love to Greg and 4o4 esports. This place is amazing if you like playing games and wanting to meet people who do.
A great place to hang out and play, and watch people play tournaments. Really fun experience
Headed back this Wednesday. Place was nice. Definitely tell it's a labor of love to run it.
Great place! Very clean and modern. Around a lot of Asian eateries for food. Will be back!
I love this place!! Great place to get your casual / competitive gaming in. Great people.
Very cool gaming facility with the competitive gamer in mind. Support this black owned business.
Pay once and play all day. Lots to choose from. Great food in walking distance.
Great place to play fighting games and meet new people with similar interests
Best place in America for meeting up and playing competitive or casual sets of fighting games
Best place for gaming in Atlanta PERIOD. Nice selection of games. COOL STAFF TOO!
Awesome place recommended for people who loves video games especially fighting games.
Easily the best place for fighting games in the entire state of GA
Best local one can ask for. Definitely come by to play some games!
This place is amazing if you love fighting games this is the place to go!!!
Incredible that Atlanta has a venue for fighting games. Nothing else like it
If you're into fighting games, this IS the go to spot in Atlanta. 10 bucks to game all night, bring your friends
Friendly place to play games with an affordable price and great atmosphere.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
