WOW! Welcoming and nostalgic environment. Fun for all. Clean and reasonably priced. An awesome activity for any day, but especially on a day to escape the heat. Our family had a wonderful time! Our kids were able to choose variety of keepsakes/souvenirs; many $5.00 and under. The owners couldn't have been nicer. We played all the games and even watched a bit of Raiders of the Lost Ark in their retro living room space. We will be back!
Best vintage arcade I've been to, no question. Incredible selection of classic games from the eighties, and almost every game was in good working condition. Prices were very reasonable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to travel back in time to the classic arcade era!
So much fun! Took my daughter here today to celebrate her 13th Birthday and we had so much fun playing air hockey, pinball, and video games. We will definitely visit here again next year on vacation! I also loved all the Star Wars stuff.
Amazing place! We came here while on vacation. Just 12 buck per person to play unlimited arcade games and/or 50 cents per pinball game. Great entertainment for a family on a budget trip!
Friendly staff and atmosphere. They had a good selection of "Old" arcade games. Lots of pinball games too. The 8 young adult/teens had a blast. Will definitely go back!
So much fun! My kids spent hours playing video games from when I was a kid. It was nice to see so many people that didn't have their heads stuck in phones. Absolutely worth it, and we'll come back!
It's fun! For just $12 per person you can play games all day (you can come and go). There are couches with movies to watch for the parents or kids that are not interested in playing. Good music and good fun!
What a fun place for families! Our 9, 5, and 2 year old kids had a great time?and so did we! Super affordable. The owners are the nicest people and the place is clean and well organized.
We took our three year old son here to show him the cool stuff we did as kids. He had a blast. They had the coolest old games and the prices were good. The guy who was behind the counter was very helpful and nice.
Brought my kids and husband here and had been here for hours before we even realized it all the time that had gone by....soooo many old arcade games and pinball games it was hard to choose what to let my kids beat me at first.....and to top it all off perfectly the staff were amazing and friendly..... The couches and vhs tape collection for those who choose not to play (which by the way is free admission for non players) brought me back to my childhood favorite.... I haven't seen this movie in so long....I
This place is a gem! A fully nostalgic 80?s arcade experience, or what I would have hoped to have experienced if I was around then. The owner was very kind and helpful and the facilities are clean and safe. The value for what you get in entertainment here is unbeaten for any town, much less a tourist town. I could see this being a must stop for every trip we take to Branson!
We found this place while on vacation and let me tell you this place is definitely a blast from the past. As an adult I have to say I definitely had a blast along with my twin 8 year old boys. They liked it so much we went back for a second time. The facility is clean and well managed. Would highly recommend.
A really neat throwback experience. A great selection of vintage arcade games playable under one payment (pay one time, play as much as you want). The games were 99% all in working order. That was very impressive.
This place is amazing! Super friendly staff, nice clean facilities, great selection of games, very family friendly! From the Star Wars decor to the 80s music playing in the background. You feel like you have stepped back in time. Very relaxing atmosphere. And again the staff were so nice! If your family likes video games or pinball games this is the place to go!
Customer Service was amazing. Game collection was classic and unique. Only a few machines were out (After Burner RIP). Pinball is quarters only. $12 for all other games unlimited play.
Really fun experience for a rainy day in Branson. Plenty of games for my husband and I and our 12 year old to keep busy for hours! At $12 a person, it was a treat!
I smiled so much my face hurt! Boy this place brought back memories, I was only six in 1984 but there were so many memories from all of the eighties. It is so affordable, even the little gifts are affordable. Ok not only does it have games but a little 1980's living room set up, VCR with VHS tapes to watch too. I brought my adult children here and they loved it. The little kids in here seemed to as well. We need more places like this. Bring a roll of actual quarters to play pinball, I love that it's quarter
Great place for nostalgia. One side has pinball games. It accepts quarters only ( the person up front will have them) There is air hockey, Foosball as well. The other side is arcade games. It costs $12 for unlimited games. They also have a vhs player to watch movies. Will definitely come back!!
Affordable family fun with a heavy 80?s vibe. My boys and I had a blast setting high scores on these games while their mom watched classic movies on VHS. The staff were super friendly and you really can't beat the bang for your buck in Branson. I really felt like I was back in one of my hometown?s long-gone arcades at 1984 Arcade. It's a hidden gem - go find it!
My son had his 7th Birthday party here and it was wonderful! The kids had a blast and the party area was perfect. The staff was excellent!! We will be back!
Absolutely loved this place. Clean, well organized, lots of parking, classic arcade games and tons of pinball. 12 dollars for all you can play for all the classic arcade games is outstanding. The other half of the building is pinball, ski ball, and air hockey for 50 cents a game. Will absolutely come back as soon as I can.
This was such an awesome experience!!! There were more games than we could have played in one day at very good prices. It was a nostalgic walk down memory lane that I will definitely remember. The staff were super cool and the establishment was very clean and welcoming. There was even places to sit and watch old vhs tapes! 10/10 would highly recommend!
came in about an hour till close expecting to pay full price and didn't mind bc it was already a reasonable price but were given half off since we wouldn't have much time. i wasn't around for the 80s but i loved getting to see all the games, music, movies, and decor from the era! amazing selection of games of all kinds and beautifully curated space. i recommend especially if you go for a full night. :)
Was visiting family in the Branson area and they suggested we check this place out! Had so much fun! You can pay a fee and play all the arcade games you want or play a wide assortment of pinball games for fifty cents in quarters per game. We chose the pinball and I think I played just about every one! Party area, merchandise and decor with an 80s theme! Even 80s videos playing throughout. Will be sure to visit again!
Love this place! It was a blast from the past. Great games, themes, and videos to watch. It blew my kids? minds to watch the original Star Wars on VHS. Take the time to come have fun at this national treasure!
A lot of fun and a lot of games. The place was clean and had neat 80's decor. The sofas were comfy and games all worked. The pinball costs extra (50 cents) and was fun as well. Overall, an awesome place!
1984 Arcade in Branson brings back the kind of arcade experience I grew up with?authentic, simple fun. My grandson had a great time, and I know he'll enjoy it even more as he gets a little older. The owner was friendly, easy to talk to, and clearly cares about the place. If you're looking for something that captures the heart of classic arcades, this place delivers.
We just hosted a birthday party here and it was fantastic! Party room was clean and decorated nicely. The kids had a blast playing games together and finding new ones to enjoy! ?10/10 no notes? - 7 year old birthday boy
A killer place to time travel back and play some vintage video games and just chill in the 80s vibe. All day you get 80s music on the giant boom box with videos to go with. For low price you get to play all the video games in the plays for as long as you want during one day and the pinball machines are cheap to at just a quarter and fifty cents like they used to be back in the day. A great spot to just chill.
My husband and I love visiting the arcade. It's our favorite date night. The owner is so friendly and always greets us with a smile. Unlimited game play (excludes pinball machines) for a very reasonable cost. There are tons of games to choose from. 10/10 recommend for your next date night.
This is the absolute coolest place! It's a blast every time we come. Fun for all ages for sure!
I'm a pinball guy, and this place is great! An excellent mix of games from many eras, and even the newer ones are only $.50. I played more than half of their nearly 30-game collection, and the machines were all working quite well with an occasional weak flipper here or there. I know how hard it is to keep that many machines working well, and they do a great job of it. Get yourself a roll of quarters and go have a blast!
This place is radical. Highly recommend if you love retro games.
Such a fun place to visit! Neat to see the 80s kitsch, kids had a great time playing all the games. Inexpensive, not far from the main drag of Branson, definitely worth a trip. Check it out!
11 yr old son and I had an absolute blast here. Seeing these old games that I had forgotten was a ton of fun. With free play, now is your opportunity to finally beat Gauntlet! Highlight was playing bubble hockey and pole position over and over. The games that do require quarters are usually .50 or a 1.00 so your money goes a long ways here compared to the ticket earning arcades that are everywhere. Great vibe, wonderful store.
Had so much fun reliving my youth. I loved being able to bring my kids here so they could see OG games. All for $10 wristbands all you can play on arcade. Pinball extra. Definitely worth a try on any day in Branson.
We had a GREAT TIME at 1984 Arcade!! One of the best values in Branson!!! All the classics, tons of nostalgia. Went for my daughter's birthday and had a blast!!!!! Everyone from my mom who was born in the 80s to my nephews who are under 10, all loved it!
Blast from the past very fun great place to visit I highly recommend it
LOVE this place!! I was born in 82 and it literally felt like I was back in my older sister's room jammin out with her!!! My kids loved it too. Cheapest option for video games in Branson.
When we had a full day of storms ahead, this place was a no-brainer. My kids (8 &5) had to be dragged out after 4+ hours of play. They absolutely loved it and I did too! Super friendly and helpful staff too. We will definitely be back
What a blast from the past! Brings all your childhood flooding back. The staff is very friendly had a great time will definitely be back.
A blast from the past! Loved showing my kids all the stuff from when I was younger. Had so much fun playing all the games and even introduced them to VHS movies.
Me and my family went to the arcade during spring break and it was the best part of the trip! Staff was so nice and inviting. Prices were very reasonable and the deals were great! Overall very good experience and we will be returning!
Had my 8 year old granddaughters birthday party here. The place is clean and well maintained. Lots of room for everyone to move around and have fun. One side is all free games, and the other is quarter games. They are mostly older games from the 80's. Not just one of each but 2 or 3 versions of each. The party side is mostly pinball machines. You can stay and play as much as you want. It was well worth it. Will go back
My kids and myself absolutely LOVED this place! I'm an 80's baby so it was like re-living the best era ever by walking thru the doors. The owner is the NICEST human and explained everything you needed to know. Over 75+ games and a crapton of pinball machines. I didn't even know they made that many. When I read reviews of people saying they spent hours in there I was like NO WAY! Well, yes you can and it's easy, so much fun the time flies right on by. I saw all ages from 80-6yrs old when we went. Has every g
Absolutely awesome. Owner was incredible. All the retro games and the price is very reasonable. Cheapest thing you'll do in Branson. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
My parents saw this and we had a blast! All 5 of us spent a solid 3 hours in here and didn't want to leave. Even the teenager had fun. $10 entry fee gets you to the classic arcade side and then the pinball machines are 25 to 50 cents each. Does have a air hockey table. The machines are well cared for. Merchandise is not expensive at all. A few sitting areas with a classic 80s movie playing. There is even a party area for birthdays. This small business deserves any tourist attention that wants a clean small
So much fun!!! Only $10 for unlimited free play. Retro decor all over and two 1980?s era movie areas set up with old movies playing. The owner(?) was so nice. We really loved it. Great value!
This place is a BLAST! My husband and I LOVED it so much! Loads of 80?s nostalgia. From the arcade games to movies to fantastic 80?s music. We stayed for hours!!
Great retro arcade! All the games are in good condition. I really like being able to pay a set price for unlimited plays.
I took my 2 teenagers here during our Branson vacation. It's not often that all three of us agree on anything but 1984 Arcade was a hit for all three of us! We spent $36 to get in just to play unlimited retro arcade games that I remember from my childhood. The music was on point and the decor was perfect. The pinball games cost 25?-50? and the skeeball and air hockey cost a little extra. They also sell drinks and candy for a reasonable price. The gentleman working there (possibly the owner) was so friend
We absolutely loved this place. All the games were in really good condition for how old they are. Also, all the memories we have playing a bunch of those games as a kid. Definitely worth experiencing this place.
Fun ride down memory road. $12 is a great value. Was disappointed that pinball was not included. I thought the website said it was.
Brought my whole family here for a birthday! Great place! Loved our visit.
Even my wife loved it! Been there, got the t-shirt (they have some cool ones), will be back. They had all of the games I wanted to play in great working condition just like I remember with good sound and bright screens including centipede and the original pac-man. As a genX'r, wondering where's the fun and common sense lately, I knew we were in the right place when the total of our purchase was a round number. They had the tax worked in. It was a small detail I appreciated, like the VHS tapes lined up acros
This is a must visit. It's a hiden treasure. My family and I spent several hours here and absolutely enjoyed it. All arcades (100+) and pinball machines are kept in great working condition. Decor is fantastic. Vhs movies playing. You can select what you would like to watch by ejecting and inserting the vhs tapes yourself. Entrance fee to play the arcade machines is more than reasonable. The pinball machines are only a quarter per game and are excluded from the entrance fee. Great place to celebrate
I can not say enough great things about this place! The attention to detail, the blood sweat and tears that obviously went into thos place is amazing. We chatted with the owner for a while & played so many games. If you want a fun night, kids or no kids, THIS IS YOUR PLACE!
Brilliant idea! Get ready to overload on everything 80?s. Video games, pinball, air hockey, movies, music videos and memorabilia. Affordable stop for anyone who loves the 80?s? young or old.
Absolutely one of the raddest places this side of the Ozarks! With dozens retro, classic, and new pinball tables as well as even more classic arcade cabinets lovingly restored and cared for, there'll be a game for every visitor! Along with 80s music and videos playing all over the place, it's a blast from the past straight to your cranium, dude!
Amazing place! Had so much fun it was like stepping back into my childhood! Fun place I would recommend this place to anyone (all ages)
Had my son?s birthday party here in May. It was so much fun and they were so kind to everyone! We will definitely be going back!
Great place!! 70s/80s babies this is your childhood all in one stop!! Clean, super friendly staff. We (adults in our late 40s) and our kids had a great time!
Great place to visit with the whole family. The arcade game side was available for all-day play with a 12 dollar entrance fee and unlimited play. The pinball machines and ice hockey took quarters. There were at least three different movies playing on different tvs around the arcade. I spent the day with my family and was able to bring my dog inside. Very warm and cozy atmosphere. If I had the chance to come back, I would 100% do it.
Visited this place on a tiktok recommendation. We entered and we were met with great customer service and a friendly face. I'm not into games but I brought my husband here for his birthday. This place was filled with great arcade games and such nostalgia with couches and tvs that were playing 80s movies. We had fun and played a few games. It was packed with people but never overcrowded or rowdy. It was great and laid back for a busy Saturday afternoon. 10/10 recommendation
Terrific low cost entertainment. A great selection of upright, table & pinball games. Even an NES & a Genesis to play on. My 10(F) & 12(M) year old had a great time!
This place is a love letter to the 80's. had a blast here and was one of the highlights of our vacation. Can't wait to go back, oh and don't forget to buy some of their rad merch I'm drinking out of a mug I got from there as I write this review ??
This place is AMAZING!! I recently visited this place with my family while on vacation. You can't beat the prices. It's great for the young and young at heart. I would give anything if we had something similar in Oklahoma. You guys rock!!!
Huge variety of games to play and a wonderful spot for parents to sit, watch a movie, and relax while the kids play. Everything works well and the owner is very nice and knowledgeable. Definitely will check them out next time I'm in town.
That was the best $12 spent! Was like being a kid in high school again, free play took all the stress out of whether or not we had enough quarters LOL. We got to play games. I literally haven't played in almost 40 years ?? absolutely, will come back!
One of the best experiences in Branson. Staff was friendly very clean family environment. All around nice time.
Very cool place! Awesome selection of 80's games we all know and love even someone like me who's a 90's baby. Great atmosphere for kids as well. Pinball, air hockey and claw machines are quarters to play pinball is 50 cents and air hockey is a dollar. I didn't check out the claw machine but I'm sure it's a dollar as well. I only saw 2 or 3 games that weren't in working order so mostly all games are open and free to play after 10 dollar adult admission. Worth every penny though.
This place is AMAZING!!! If you love old school arcade games ??, if you love pinball and air hockey, if you want to chill in an 80's themed environment while watching 80's movies, if you want to hear 80's Era music and love kind service at a freaking low price... This place is for you!!! It was great seeing my kids realize that arcade games are not as easy as they thought ?? This place was worth every dollar and then some.
This is a fantastic, affordable & family friendly trip to the 1980s with a wide variety of vintage pinball machines and video games!
Always a fun time at the arcade. Tons of vintage stuff from pinball to arcade games to air hockey with great music and 80's movies playing. A great affordable place to get lots of entertainment
Lots of nostalgic 1980's arcade and pinball machines as well as lots of neat memorabilia throughout the venue. Gift shop was fun. VHS tapes available to watch 1980 movies on 1980 console TV's.
Half the room with some of the best stand up arcade titles of the 80s and 90s! Pay once and play free play from then on. Pinball machines are amazing. Some as old EM to less then a year old digital games. They do take quarters, but I didn't find any over .50c! Well worth it to play some of the newest pinball that cheap considering I've payed over 2.00 a game before!! They have 80s music videos. NES SEGA and other consoles set up.. like a huge living room of fun!
First time in Branson and heard this was a must and it's so true! Amazing experience with a throw back to the 80?s. The owner was super friendly and welcoming. My family and I had a great time and would definitely recommend it 100%!
This place is TOTALLY AWESOME!!!! If we lived here, we would definitely buy the annual pass!! Huge selection of CLASSIC arcade games and pinball machines!! Will DEFINITELY BE BACK!!! And you can't beat the price of admission!
Kids got bored in ? BRANSON?! ? ?? Show them what the 80-90?s where like ?? Cheap fun for the family! Something for everyone! Clean bathrooms was a huge hit for the ladies! ??
Love it! So much fun to play the games and you get unlimited play on the video games for only $10! Pinball is 25 or 50 cents per game. Ron is super nice and fun to talk to. You could play from open to close because there are enough games to keep you busy. Or you can watch a movie!
What a great place to hang out! Took a stroll down memory lane playing pin ball and the arcade games from my youth.
I was born in 1984, seeing all the games I grew up with it brought back childhood memories. I felt like a big kid again. From pinball machines to a lot of varieties of arcade games and Nintendo. You pay $10 and stay there as long as you want. Entertainment for the whole family.
This place is super super awesome. Definitely go here if you're I to the 80s nostalgia, or even if you're not it's a fun place to check out. The owner is a really nice guy and will talk to you about his business. Saw a few reviews where people complained about one or two of the DOZENS of arcades they've got not working. Guys, they're hunting down, resurrecting, repairing, and maintaining 40 year old machines here! They have Sonic (on Sega) too. The cover fee is only $10 for unlimited time on all arcades (mi
Super fun spot! They have a huge variety of video games that have unlimited plays for $10 and a bunch of 50 cent pinball machines. It was great to just walk around and try all the different games. They have so many to choose from you could spend hours there. I also enjoyed that they allowed us to get wristbands and come back later to continue playing. Even if you are not super into video games or pinball you will certainly find a game to enjoy here! I even got 3rd on the leaderboard of one game!!
Love this place! So much fun! Loved seeing young kids in their having a blast! Great value also!
The owner was so nice and gave us free playing time. It was a blast from the past playing all the 80's games such a variety, and the pinball machines were my favorite, and they have a ton of them. They only accept quarters for those, but the front desk can get them for you. We spent 3 hours here. The only thing that is a bummer is that the machines all get turned off at night, so the high score always starts over the next day.
This place was amazing for only $10 admission and all free play my family and I had a blast spent 4 hrs. Here and still didn't play all the games this is a fun place for any age this is a must try go and check it out you will not be disappointed.... Let your inner kid fly
Absolutely AMAZING!! Hours of fun and the owner is the nicest guy! 10/10 recommend!! Can't wait to come back!!! ????????
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
