im from alabama and i came all the way to ohio to celebrate my friend's birthday. and this place was lovely. we spoke with tilly and he was a delight. most helpful person i met ever i think. im not old enough to drink, but i dont think you have to drink to have a good time here :D
Oh the nastalgia! I got to play games & drink soft drinks for free
Wow this place is a must ,i didnt try food so can not rate that part, the service and atmosphere were excellent. Nice selection of mixed drinks and craft beer .The retro games were free that alone puts this venue at the top . I would definitely return there is something for everyone ,free video games, paid bowling ,sports bar fire pits outside in a town that is a hotspot .
This was my first time at this location since I typically visit the downtown location. The games are great and the bathroom signs are my favorite part!
1st Lesley was very informative about their whiskey selection and we took his advice and tried Knob creek and 4 ?? roses. They were exceptional! Great elevated experience!
Every time I'm in town on business, I spend some part of my evening here. ALL of the throwback 80s arcade games - free - are the BEST. The beer is always cold and the Green Tea shots are awesome!
Fun place to kick back and dust off your arcade skills! We visited twice - once just for fun and the second time for a private event. The bar staff is nice, drinks are good, and there's plenty of room to spread out and not be smashed into other people.
Tonight was hopping! Need a hands on entertaining, fun place that a couple or a group can partake; this is it. Pick a game, have a drink and sit inside or outside. Use the parking garage and grab other eats out an about. Even take a walk on the bridge. Plenty of choices. Hot dogs are ok.
Pizza available between 16 bit and Pins Mechanical. Good drink options and kids can have free drinks on Sundays. The arcades are free to play, giving people of all ages something fun to do while there
My five groomsmen and I came here (16-Bit and Pins) for my bachelor party, and we had a blast! The games (both digital and physical) were a lot of fun, especially our intense game of giant-sized Jenga, and the drinks were delicious! The Carrie Fisher, Hulk Hogan, and Game Over were all excellent. The staff were also all very friendly and helpful, and the whole atmosphere and environment were very light, welcoming, and laid back. There's no question, I'll be back!
Had happy hour organized by Databricks here today Great to network with people, chat and discuss about technology and other fun chats Love the ambience , all 3 places (Pins mechanical , weenie wonder and 16-bit-arcade are all connected each other within inside) You'll have fun time here with drinks ??, beer ?? or soft drinks ??, ping pong ?? game , Jenga , bowling ?? lanes and other arcade games ??? etc Enjoy your visit !!
What isn't to like about this place?!?! It's epic! The games are great the drinks are cold the vibes are chill and the people are great! It's a huge place to come hang and feel nostalgic while beating your best friend at Mortal Kombat and Ski ball. Again I ask...WHATS NOT TO LOVE! Come down to Dublin and come hang out the only way we millennials know how, surrounded by Awesome people Awesome drinks and Awesome games.
What a fun spot to visit in Dublin!! There was a large variety of activities and something for everyone. Pinball and Giant Jenga were our favorites! :) Appreciated the vast amount of seating and menu options. Also just a beautiful area in general to explore. Will definitely be back!
This arcade bar is great! It's all ages until 8pm, and the employees are on top of getting the kids out. There are so many arcade games, skee-ball, ping pong, bocce ball, yard pong, and more. It's a great place to hang out with friends while enjoying being a kid again!
Had a great time at this bar and loved that it was more open and easier to move around compared to its Cincinnati counterpart. Service was quick and the drinks were consistently good. Food trucks outside was a nice touch?wish they provided menus/food truck schedules inside, however.
First time at this new location and it's awesome. The original downtown is good but no much room when it gets busy. This new Dublin location has tons of room to hang out and have fun. Great parking options as well. Me and the wife don't drink so coke is free for us. Don't forget to tip people. Super clean, great atmosphere!
Games were fun! We enjoyed duckpin bowling and the arcade games! ?? ?? Glad to have a fun place for the whole family (before 9pm) to visit on our vacation.
The video games are free which is a good idea except no one cleaned them. One person finished playing the next person moved in. The place was jammed with people, so it just made me a bit concerned about the safety. They offer a lot of different activities, some you pay and some free.
Really cool place! Adequate for both kids and adults. My son (6) and I both loved the free arcade games. Plus there's drinks and food! Although we didn't make it in to play the bowling, it just gives us a reason to go back!
definitely a fun place to go and playing the games are totally free its a very cool place to chill out and hang!! its a nice environment and low budget friendly!
This place is great! My wife and friends organized my Birthday Party here. It's so awesome that all the retro games are free to play. It brought back so many great memories. The staff here is happy to give you a free sample of almost anything you like. They also allow you to bring in any food from close by. I'm so glad that Columbus is creating so many cool places to visit. I will definitely be coming back here with all my coworkers.
Sundays are for families before 8pm, and it's a blast! We've seen a few little kid birthday parties here on Sundays. During the week, this is the best spot for after work festivities, better than any happy hour. It's engaging, conversation starting atmosphere is great for being with coworkers.
Super fun and geeky place. I love coming to 16 bit with my friends. They have amazing cocktails. The atmosphere is awesome. The staff is always wonderful. Can't recommend enough.
Good if you like 80s-90s stuff. Me I grown tired of retro businesses or bringing back the old stuff like the brand new 80s movies or even time travel to that time. I think it's been over done. The place itself is nice and very friendly. Never had issues with the games, finding a table or anything. It's very well made.
Stopped in on a Saturday morning and played some games. Staff was really nice. Great variety of games. Will definitely be back.
Fun experience. Great games. Tons of space. Delicious cocktails. Awesome service. Wish we could have stayed longer!
Was a nice little spot to spend some time before a movie. Free arcade games an ok drinks. Mine was really strong but not undrinkable.
This place is as good for a group as an individual. Games took me down memory Lane. Recommend visiting if you are in town on business and need to unwind afterward.
Fun spot - good drinks, good energy, fun games. It is always fun to spend some time hanging out at 16-Bit.
By far one of the best barcades in Columbus. Plenty of ample parking, great location, fire pits outside, arcades are free to play and drinks are reasonably priced. The 70s and 80s Nostalgia will get all of your feels going.
What a cool place! Located in the heart of a trendy part of town, this gamers oasis offers beer, spirits and a ton of free games! Bowling and pinball cost, in addition to the "claw" machines but most arcade games are free to play! It's a kid friendly environment, with slushies available for purchase. I stopped in while visiting with my family and I'm so glad I did! I highly recommend it! I did not rate the food because I did not eat....
For someone who grew up in the 80's, this is so nostalgic and tons of fun. There are 80's music videos in the background, and I was reminded of a time when video games and MTV was the life we knew before cell phones and social media. They also have a giant lite bright which is awesome. You play for free as long as you are drinking something. I loved it!
SO FUN! & what a cute idea! I absolutely love that this has a more adult Dave & Buster's feel to it. Especially with all the retro games and arcades! Only bummer was that the ski-ball machines were closed down, probably for risk of COVID and the difficulty of keeping the balls sanitary, ect. We did see someone walking around sanitizing the gaming controllers, so we figured the ski-balls might not be so easy to quickly sanitize. I LOVE that there's a HUGE section of free games! There's also games for purcha
This is an amazing place to have a drink and just game. You just chill out. This bar is joined with another bar so you can game in either place. All the arcade games are free to place. I got the dude and I got the Lisa Simpson. Both were amazing.
We were charge $32 for 2 drinks. We were told it was a lot because we substituted gin for vodka. We were never told about this additional charge to switch it and we were never charged for this at the Easton location. We still tipped but wished we didn't. Walter was our bartender. They seamed okay but not super knowledgeable. They were also out of a lot of drink choices and ingredients. We won't be returning. Super over charged for this experience and super disappointed.
Kid friendly place for my grandkids and I enjoyed having a few good drinks. We definitely be back
Very cool place .. very cool people to work with. I loved building the one downtown Indianapolis
I genuinely enjoy this place, even more so since they replaced the hot dog place with Mikey?s late night slice. My only complaint is skee ball. I've been going here off and on since they opened and every time it's the same thing: the 100 point goals don't all register. Is this something that keeps breaking or has no one bothered to have it fixed? I know it's free, but y?all have the audacity to post arcade high scores directly behind the skee ball lanes, when the most important skee ball goals don't all wor
Unfortunately, as more of these are built, it becomes increasingly clear that this is just a way to make more money for PINS. The vibe is more sterile, and the space is underutilized. Some games seemed broken and had been that way a while. Service was mediocre, and the menu board was essentially a carbon copy of the PINS menu, which is literally on the other side of the wall. Shared kegs are efficient if not very boring, especially when a list of 40ish drafts is somehow even more boring and distributor push
attila was awesome as hell when greeting us and saying hello!
This is one of my favorite places. My kids love it and we come here all the time. The staff is super friendly. They also have a nice drink selection. I made a mistake while ordering and they were happy to help with the situation. I was impressed and grateful with how they handled things, especially since it was my own fault. I would recommend to anyone.
Awesome place with free games (if you buy a drink). The restrooms were clean and the space was as well.
LOVE THIS PLACE!! Drink was a little pricey but with FREE games MORE THAN WORTH IT!! Able to play ALL the way through Turtles in Time!! Did not try food bar connected to Weenie Wonder and Pins so walked in after dinner at Weenie Wonder!!! Very good night
This is a fun place. Free arcade games. Good levels of noise. Good drink fun cocktails & great prices considering the arcade games are free. In an hour we played 6 different arcade games and a bunch of ski ball, all at no additional cost.
I had so much fun here. It was pretty packed for a weekend and I could see why. The place is pretty spacious and full of cool retro gaming from arcades to gaming systems. I was preoccupied with the pinball machines. We did have super fun playing Mario. The drinks are good and will sneak up on you lol. Its pretty cool how the hot dog restaurant is between both sides of the arcade. Allows for a nice break in the action. Looking forward to going back.
Great place to play all types of arcade, console games and pinball machines. All for free.
This is a pretty awesome place to stop in the Dublin area. There isn't a ton of things to do in the area, so it does get super crowded with kids during the day. It is 21 and up after (I believe) 8pm, so that may help you plan accordingly. Personally, I have a kid, so I don't necessarily mind it being kid-heavy during the day, as it gives us another option of things to do in the Dublin area. That said, they are often unattended and just run free and kind of do whatever they want. When we do take our son her
great place to hang out and play some old school games. nes, sega, snes, arcades. took my son for his 21st birthday. he had a blast
Super awesome 80's themed bar. This place rocks. come in and buy a couple of drinks and you can play oldschool video games all night. They also have skeeball and hookey. The only thing missing is Max headroom. The mixed drinks are great but a little pricey. Beer prices are about average.
A dandy of an arcade. This is the perfect spot to kill a few hours after lunch with the kiddos. The only issue is the lack of coin machines. There is one, you just have to find it.
Great place, super fun, kept very clean! I can't stress enough how great the atmosphere is. Good vibes all around. Special shoutout to the bartender. Adam C the bartender was a friendly person and served my partner and me alcohol responsibly. We had a few shots in secession after having a few mixed drinks and Adam recommend we wait little more time before serving our next mixed drink. I super respect that, and will absolutely be back. It says a lot when a bartender watches out for the well-being of a guest.
As a retro game lover, this is the place to be. The atmosphere, free to play games, cheaper pinball than I have seen in other states, great drinks that work with the retro theme, and almost daily specials. A must-see for visitors and locals alike!
It's a great time as always, this was our first trip to the Dublin 16 bit. Great drinks and service as always. The only downside was the amount of kids there. Having only been to the downtown branch, I guess we made the wrong assumption that this would be kid free as well. Not the worst thing ever, but we weren't able to play any games due to the crowd of kids.
Coolest bar! Very big and spacious. Great drink selection. EXCELLENT alcoholic slush puppies. First time I visited was on a very busy Saturday afternoon, but staff member took time to give me a run down of the place. It does get busy and there are lots of children on the weekend, but an excellent place for a first date or to take friends visiting from out of town.
We went on a Thursday, so it wasn't really all that crowded but it still took forever for our drinks. Not to mention they were out of their signature drink Game Over and made us this other drink that was just awful... A lot of the games were down and they raised the prices on pinball.. Seriously a dollar for one game of pinball... It's still a good place to checkout if you want something to do
Very cool location. Good for families and adults looking for a fun hang out spot. Lots of beers on tap. Unique cocktails available. 40 old school video games that are free to play. They have food a spot in the same building and around the arcade
Love coming to this place, the games are great, the bartenders make great drinks, the space is huge. My only complaint is that children are allowed in the bar. Every time there are kids running all over the place, banging on the games, even climbing all over the skee ball games, like literally climbing on and inside the cages. This should remain a place for adults to relax and have a good time which is hard to do with children running around, screaming (nearly knocking my drink out of my hands) and breaking
Cool place, big and comfortable. Loud but vibrant!
Really fun vibe, drinks were great (albeit really sweet) and, although the games were free, it would have been nice if they had all been in working order (Skeeball is my favorite and balls were stuck and scoring wasn't working correctly). Still, it is a fun place.
Love this place. Always have a good time with friends and can't get enough of the free games that bring a ton of nostalgia for me.
Awesome selection of free to play authentic arcade games, plenty to play for hours, even when busy, great staff and drinks. Combined with other businesses makes a great place for lunch, dinner, or weekly outings! Will definitely come back, absolutely loved it.
What a fun place! I met a friend there and we had a great time. The games were fun. The atmosphere was alive. Being a Tuesday evening the place had quite a few customers but it was not packed. I got a "Molly ringwold" to drink and it was delicious. The place was clean including restrooms. I would go here again in a heartbeat.
Place was great but they RIP YOU OFF with alcohol. The shots they sell are great the first round but they count on you being drunk second time around. ALMOST NO alcohol. And maybe none. Pretty much lemon flavored water. I ordered a Long Island. HORRIBLE. Someone promised me they would take it off the bill and it never happened. Do yourself a favor and drink Beer. I will never go back. Complete rip off.
Great place to drink some beer and play some oldschool games. I love it
Re-live your childhood right here and spend time in the future. This is how some good friends, fun games, and friends spend time together. This place is completely awesome!!!
This is the second location for this bar in Columbus. Downtown location has a more "hole in the wall" arcade bar feel that makes the atmosphere a little more unique to me. If you want a new polished feel with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy some games, this location is your spot. Large bar top, TVs fresh new building attached to Pins. My only gripe, which comes down to personal preference, is that this location feels too much like Pins and not it's own thing. I totally understand their concept of sha
I was very excited when they opened this location as i have always loved the downtown one. However, the dublin location is really lacking the vibe that you get downtown. It would be cool if the music matched the 80's/90's nostalgia they are trying pull off. I guess this is a sign i am getting old, but the music was painful. The drinks are delicious and reasonably priced along with plenty of cheap beer. Aside from buttons sticking on pretty much every fighting game, my only real gripe is with the harsh l
Always a good time here. 3 Tall Beers for $40 w/ tip, pretty average for the Bridge Park area. Kids are allowed until 7pm, can get pretty crowded on the weekends but still plenty of games/drinks to go around. Servers have always been nice to my friends and me.
I've been to a few barcades, and this one is definitely one of my favorites. We went Sunday when they first opened. It was nice and then by 12:30pm, it was full of children. Really great venue and selection of games, but wish it was more of an adult only location.
The staff was super, very understanding and willingly worked with me because of food allergies (it's really hard to research cocktails before going and seeing which brands they use). The concept of the place is fantastic. I was mortified to see so many people bringing young babies and children into a bar setting, but who am I to judge. The three stars is actually for the lack of cleanliness of the arcade game buttons. They should seriously offer button wipes, like the grocery stores offer cart wipes. They d
Cool concept. But we went with another couple in the early afternoon, and we both brought our kids along (10 & under); we'd been told that it was "family friendly". After we first settled in and played a few arcade games, we noticed there was a movie playing on the big screens. It was completely inappropriate (including nudity and sex scenes). I asked the manager if they would change the movie because there were so many kids around, but she refused, explaining "we're a bar" and "it's part of our theme."
Love love love the beer selection. It is a frequent haunt for my work friends and I. Love the retro atmosphere and getting to play all the games I played as a kid. The food trucks parked out front have always provided reasonable options when I need a bite to eat.
There's a bar. And there's arcade machines. Free to enter, pay for the drinks. Pins is connected as well if that's more up your alley.
Jonny and Tilly were fantastic. Very attentive and made the night fantastic!!!!!!!
Great bar with a ton of drink options and lots of arcade and pinball machines, and the best part is that they are all free! I recommend this place for a fun night out with friends or even a date spot. It does get loud when busy but not a huge issue when with a small group.
This place was like adult heaven, until the kids came screaming in. Couldn't play any games without the mentioned kids running into me and making me spill my drink. I get that it's an ARCADE place, but it's also a BAR. You know the kind of place that sells booze. Don't get me wrong, I love kids. But please, not at the bar. The arcade games were free and the place right next door was awesome too.
Very fun atmosphere... love that the games are free as long as you are buying drinks. we brought outside food in and we were very well accommodated. One complaint: It's the trend now for minimalist decor (concrete walls, no window coverings, hard floors, etc.). All of this equals one very loud atmosphere. Hard to have conversations over the roar.
Great bar service. The drinks are very well made and they have a really good variety. The atmosphere is so laid back that you would feel comfortable walking in with jeans and a t-shirt or a swankier outfit. All of their arcade games are free and they have A LOT of them! Or you can just stand/sit around and hang out. I Iove this barcade!
If you live in Columbus its everything you'd expect from an arcade bar. If you're unfamiliar with arcade bars then you'll love it for the games but they exist at every other arcade bar. 16 bit was the first arcade bar in Columbus and I guess that should be worth something. Overall it's fine if you're waking by and need somewhere to drink
Engaging bar. Very clean. Great service from the Bartender Sky. Love the mega sized light bright board!
Super cool bar. Has over 2 dozen beers on tap. Lots of seating inside and along the sidewalk. All the arcade games are free to play. Unfortunately a few were broken. Very good place to go for some drinks.
Had a really great time here! The service was great, bartenders are on it! They make great cocktails, friendly and quick! I wish they took cash but that's ok.
Wonderful selection on tap, plus neat cocktails and alcoholic slush puppies! This location is much more spacious than the Cleveland location. They even had ski ball! This location (Dublin) is also attached to a small sports center of sorts, like mini bowling, bocce ball, and ping pong. Well lit and ample seating.
16 but is the best arcade to go to. When you buy a drink you get free refills and full access to any arcade game they have, the atmosphere here is also really chill, so it's a fantastic place to go to with a friend group.
Honestly love this concept and the drinks are really good... That said, it's not a place to hang out with friends nor meet other peers. The place is packed with unattended kids, with no drinks, constantly. We were told the deal was that games are free as long as you have a drink in your hand, soda/slushees included, which is very reasonable considering how nice the place is and all the games offered. There are obscene slogans and innuendos all over- great for adults- but the kids completely take over. Compl
This place reminds me of the corner store arcades we used to go to as kids but obviously way better. Games are totally free except pinball. Bar has 80s themed cocktails and a huge beer selection. Great outdoor space w fire pit. Can also sit and play old school SNES and Sega games. Then you can wander over to PINS for a whole different experience w/ boche and duck bowling. Can also bring in food like pizza or whatever. Great time. Plus can bring kids til 7
This location is gigantic and being connected to Pins is a big plus. Tons of seating and gigantic bar. Wish some of the cocktails were a bit less sugary, as I thought my teeth were gonna fall out, but overall a super fun place to be. Free parking is a big plus too. Can't wait for the food portion between the 2 places to open as well.
Did not try the food very cool place
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
